do you actually want this?
do you really want this?
and when i ask this im not talking about “your” desires, like everybody else is when they ask you this question, im talking about whether you’re truly up to accepting who you truly are. This anon from @/4dbarbie’s page explains it perfectly: for reference, Vanessa=character without desires, while Lara=character who has realised self with “desires” quickly following.
Notice how they said “Vanessa wants to be Lara, not pure consciousness” a lot of people make the mistake of getting attached to the idea of being their "Lara", showing 1: separation between them and Lara and showing how they still identify as a yearning Vanessa and
2: that they aren't getting what nd is teaching, the "goal" is to realise pure awareness and everything else will follow. If you guys treat nd like just another method to help the character they identify with, get their desires, they won't get far.
This isn’t a method, this isn’t the “way to get things quicker”, this is you realising who you are. And once you do, your desires won’t matter to you anymore, which is WHY they will materialise, the same way money will always show up for the billionaire who believes “money isn’t everything”. Because of your lack of attachment to the character of Lara, Lara is who you’ll be. But that comes with knowing who you really and truly are.
Do you actually want that, to know who you are? or is nd some sort of tool? first seek freedom, and once you are free looking at infinite possibilities available to you in the palm of your hand, you can select whatever character you’ll have fun with.
You don’t have to suffer like this, you wouldn’t be suffering like this, if you knew who you were because knowing who you are means absolute freedom, from everything, ESPECIALLY suffering.
seeking and finding freedom must come before the shift in the character and the dream
freedom first, obsession with “get” shows attachment to the dream
