✨Africa Heritage Festival | Africa Day 🌍 | 25th May 2026 ✨
As this past week was Africa Week, the girls head to the Africa Heritage Festival in Oasis Springs the following afternoon.
Thyra has the honour of opening the last night's musical performances and brought her cousins along to soak up all the fun and culture (and - OF COURSE - the food). Now, isn't it awfully convenient that Khanyi can now avoid certain people and conversations, in the name of supporting her cousin? 00
SN: I just want to say a MASSIVE SHOUTOUT to the following creators: @sailorjojogames, @aesthgrace, @thousandsimmer, @/thesarah_o, @lavigyal, @/apricityy, @moyiglow, @/naijasimmer, and @outishwrld

Fela Kuti and the Kalakuta Queens Performance at The Africa Heritage Festival 🥳🌍
This look is inspired by Fela Kuti 👀Fela Aníkúlápó Kútì was a Nigerian musician and political activist. He is regarded as the principal innovator of Afrobeat, a Nigerian music genre that combines West African music with American funk and jazz.
The Kalakuta Queens were 27 women who lived with Nigerian Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti in his “Kalakuta Republic” commune. They were dancers, singers, and active supporters of his music and political activism against military oppression. Famous for their fierce loyalty and distinct style, they were collectively married to Fela in 1978 and are now recognized as essential partners in his legacy.
