I'm tired of being angry all the time, yet at the same time I shouldn't dismiss it. I'm angry for a reason and that reason shouldn't be forgotten. But it's just so tiring-

Is anyone else sick and tired of there no being way out in this world? Climate change, AI, War, all that shit. The only way out is through the internet. But there is no way out. That's a lie. The internet as an escape but how long will it be till it becomes another cage like life too? People here treat being part of fandoms as some form of activism, but people are being hurt. People are dying. Yet here we are consuming or producing fan content to cope with the fact that reality sucks. Instead of actually doing something to help the world, it ends up being a microchosm of it and we've somehow deluded ourselves into thinking that "yes, our consumption helps change the world", but it's just maintaining the status quo.

And so you go back out into the world that is reality, and you realize there's no where else to go but forward.

Will I get flamed if I think that TADC is made for edgy kids the same way Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss attracts kids that are trying to act edgy and mature.

From what I've seen the people who like those shows the most despite claiming to be adult shows are middle schoolers.

It's getting irritating that LARGE and POPULAR indie animation fanbases bootlick a company, studio, or its creator and treat them like gods and mob against you for critiquing their behavior in any sort of way.

It's honestly worrying that they parade these companies/creators/studios as the "Saviors of Indie Animation" when instead of supporting the indie animation community as a whole, they decide to find the next "figurehead/paragon" for it.
