I worked at panera bread at the turn of them going from cozy comfy to like. whatever the fuck they have now #the main issue is that they're trying to compete with fast food places like chipotle while being cosmically more expensive to run #like fast casual are their direct competitor and they will NEVER make the money fast casual does. because their food isnt fast casual.#so they keep fucking with the recipes and suppliers to make shit cheaper and it just makes shit taste bad. and people complain.#they cant afford to lost one single customer and I am not kidding.#like them innovating shit is ruining them because the key to comfort food #which they specialize in #is that its consistent #but whoever is running the show thinks that innovation will bring people in. and it wont. because people want the same comfort food #and they keep TAKING SHIT OFF THE MENU EVERY 3 MONTHS #so now youre losing customers bc the delicious whatever you had is gone. bc its old hat or it was too expensive in the first place.#AMERICANS DONT THINK OF QUINOA WHEN THEY THINK OF COMFORT FOOD.
