So I pretty much never use Tumblr anymore, but I may stop by every now and then.

I don't have the time to go through and delete all my old shitty takes, so just know that if any of my old posts come across as controversial in any way, chances are I disagree with them nowadays. I was most active here in my late teens and early twenties, back when I still had that shitty high schooler mentality thinking my opinions mattered more than everyone else's.

Blender is an excellent freeware 3D renderer,possibly better than After Effects

Lightzone to replace Lightroom

Inkscape to replace Illustratr

Audacity to replace Audition (I also received a free version of Pro Tools with my Scarlett Solo audio interface)

If Adobe is going to be greedy shitheads, then fuck ‘em. Don’t use their stuff. Freeware can be just as good, if not better, than Adobe CC.

Well, since Eurovision is happening again, I might as well remind you all about Lordi

Lordi is a hard rock/heavy metal band from Finland who won the Eurovision Song Contest (albeit with a largely different lineup) in 2006 with their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah"

The band is most well known for their 80's-inspired melodic hard rock sound and, of course, their elaborate monster costumes.

These guys are Eurovision royalty and should be treated as such. They made history in 3 different ways.

They were the first metal band to win the contest

They were the first Finnish act to make it to the top 5

They held the record for most points (292) at the time, until this record was beaten three years later by Alexander Rybak's "Fairytale" with 387 points

These guys are my favorite band of all time and are absolute legends, and if they don't occupy any space in your mind during Eurovision, they absolutely should. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
