Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, I was hoping you could explain me something. I wanna start doing comissions on deviantart but I don't exactly know how to get the money if I'm gonna get paid. I read that people use paypal but I have no idea how? Can you please tell me how? And maybe some advice on how to start? Thank you.

hi! just letting u know i prefer to get asks like this on @eirian <3 but ur fine

first of all to get paid you need to have a bank account! you cant use paypal without a bank account--or, if you can and im wrong, its a horrible idea to just have money floating in paypal. theres also things like venmo and cashapp though so id look into alternatives as well! paypal is just the most popular but it has its disadvantages like hefty fees and restrictions.

i would make a clear price sheet somewhere (i use carrd for mine but other people make images instead) and a terms of service page as well as a rules page. make sure people know what you will and wont accept, and make sure they know what theyre getting into

taking commissions is a big trial and error thing tbh! so just try to see what works for you and what doesnt
