Oh right, my grandma's birthday was last weekend - here are the cakes I made her! A strawberry cream sponge cake and one cake that is somehow only known as "birthday cake" in my family (my other grandma always used to make this one for my mom and me, and I actually don't know how far back this tradition goes) - it is some kind of vanilla cake with a fluffy lemon filling and while our handwritten family recipe says "Birthday Cake (Florence cake)" I never found any recipe going even slightly in this direction when I reverse searched it, so it will remain a mystery xD
