Random Sakura Stuff Because I Think About Her Way Too Much: the Compilation.
(Spoilers for Danganronpa 1, School Mode, and Sakura's FTEs)
1. If you ask everyone about what was in their video motive, Sakura is the only one who will actually tell you.
2. She is also one of the few who don't immediately assume that Makoto is the culprit during the first case.
3. When looking for Chihiro in Chapter 2, you can find Sakura in the trash room because she wanted to see if anyone was trying to potentially destroy evidence. â
4. If you look for her during the last available Free Time before her death, she will be in the Chem Lab during the first half, and in the dining room with Hina during the second. She will also refuse to talk to you in the second half of Free Time.
5. Since Monokuma refused to finish reading her note and called it a spoiler, it is likely that she correctly guessed that their memories have been erased. The only person to do so before her is Kyoko, and even then she wasn't exactly sure what Monokuma has done to them.
6. Monokuma didn't kill her despite her breaking two separate school regulations, and has implied that he would've struggled to do so if he did try.
7. (Not directly about Sakura, but related) In his beta design, as well as the intro sprite we have for him, Kenshiro has Sakura's tie wrapped around his arm.
8. In School Mode, you can tell Sakura that she kind of reminds you of Byakuya and vice-versa. It's a bad option for Sakura and the worst option for Byakuya. He gets very offended.
9. Looking at Sakura's character relationship chart, Hifumi is surprisingly nice to her. It actually seems like she might have been friends with him before their memories were erased, as she's petting his head in a few of the pictures given to survivors in Chapter 4.
10. On the other hand, she's the only person Byakuya has nothing to say about.
11. She's also one of the two people to get a flustered sprite from Kyoko, with the other person being Celeste.
12. She not only correctly guessed that Chihiro was avoiding her and Hina, but also that he would not have gone to train alone despite that. The idea that he went to train with someone came from her testimony.
13. Generally, a lot of her inferences about what happened during the case are correct, despite the fact that she's consistently left at guard duty with little ability to investigate.
14. In Chapter 4, if you give her a gift that she loves without finishing her FTEs, she will say that sometimes you remind her of "him," likely referring to Kenshiro.
15. She placed her suicide note in Hina's room, which means that she either had personal access to it or spent her last night there.
16. It seems that the majority of the fandom either forgets about it or ignores it, but the first impression Makoto had of her on the internet literally involved them calling her a missing link (take it with a grain of salt as I don't speak Japanese and used Google Translate, but the original text translated to "primate"). Also, aside from calling her Ogre, which could just be his nickname for her, Hiro also specifically calls her a missing link too.
17. I've seen people mention that Kiyotaka's response to doing something he considers wrong is to ask to be physically punished, but I haven't seen people mention that that's kind of what Sakura does too. Her first solution to being revealed as the spy is to let others attack her as they pleased.
18. From School Mode, he's good at chess and enjoys strategy games in general.
19. Also from School Mode, she's not very good at following lectures, but enjoys reading and it seems to be her preferred learning method.
20. Also also from School Mode, she's pretty good at cooking and gets offended when people assume that she isn't.
If you have anything else, please do share, this is a Sakura appreciation post, and we shall all bask in her glory. â
