Itâs basically people saying that those that grew up in racist households are worthy of sympathy because they were essentially indoctrinated and the indoctrination should be counted as âabuseâ, so those racists are victims.
Theyâre forgetting that after you become a free thinking adult, personal responsibility for your beliefs and mental health is something that you have to have, racist upbringing or not.
If you grew up with a racist family, thatâs really sad for you but if as an adult you arenât able to reconcile the fact that a group of people were heavily discriminated against in every single form possible by the US for no other reason that it would completely shatter your incorrect world view and would require you to get therapy, you deserve all the hate you get.
They canât claim that they were âraised that wayâ because there are plenty of people that after some serious research and thought realized that everything they were taught was wrong. And while abuse is something horrible and sick and victims do deserve help, it doesnât excuse the abusive ass behavior they display.
Also thereâs plenty of nonwhite kids out there who have to learn how to put up with racist BS from a very young age and end up being indoctrinated into self hatred. Why arenât we worried about these kids
