Coffee is for closers
Sometimes you need a strong mentor
But you have to hustle
You know you're guilty
Tis true I tell you!
If I get another call from a random SEO guy...
Sometimes it's hard not to only consider the company goals vs customer goals
All day long
Know someone like this?
You can't make everyone happy
Celebrate
You ever feel like this?
Oh MLM!
When the commision structure changes #commission #sales #salesman #salesperson #hustling #grind #closer #business #saleshumor
Unfortunately, this is a fact of life for many businesses trying to incentivize its sales people. Just be careful not to change this too often as it could hurt your credibility and your bottom line.
Seriously
No, on the contrary, YOU were not a good fit for the position! I made a mistake hiring someone with no sales experience because I was banking on this person's personality type. They were a clean slate and I could mold them in the organization's systems. It's not the first time I've made this mistake. It's a chance you take when you want to fill a position. Someone's personality or characteristics are not necessarily indicators of a good sales person. This candidate also happened to be a Millennial. Gone are the days of "what I can bring to your organization." In are the days of, "what can your organization do for me." Dear Millennials, try proving yourself first before demanding more benefits and higher salaries. You're going to have to work for it. And by the way, don't blame the seat or position before asking yourself if you have the talent or genuine drive to fit into it.
