#Both sides of my family have issues but when it comes to being fake people my moms side takes the cake #My mom side was never nice exactly or even hid there preferences for certain people and families over others #They mastered that classic passive aggressive church love the sin not the sinner (really hate both) attitude #the finding of a family group chat that purposely excluded my mom and anyone connected to her proved how fake they are #My dads side on the other hand has more of a help anyone that is family even if they are being openly assholes like my one uncle #My very mentally ill uncle whose favorite game when I was a child being how fast can he make me angry cry or yell or hit him #We are chill now even if we keep to ourselves in shared company - dude has many issues and has never been able to support himself #When anyone needs any help we can call on any family member #Even the one uncle I loathed for years and now care mostly out of pity and duty #He knows this too so not fake just bitchy

#Don’t know if it counts #I have been dealing with intermittent migraines (genetic) and tendinitis (product of hyperextended joints) for a little over 10 years now.#It was worst when I was younger but now I would say around 70% of the time it is not noticeable or ignorable #the other 30% is interfering or debilitating #Basically I was fine until puberty real started going. Since my body has finished developing symptoms have lessened or changed.

Note to self, don’t use the microwave when you first wake up. Now I have to clean the microwave and hope my apartment smells better when I get home from work. :) :)

#body temperature #if I get too warm I get angry and if I get too cold I get depressed. I am like a fucked up emotion lizard. Need homeostasis of temperature.

To put it bluntly today has been horrible for me. Work, school, and life upkeep take a lot out of me normally. The emotions of last night did not hit until at work today.

My coworkers and I were talking about how the election is hitting us, how we are feeling, etc. We are already at high stress because of important things going on at work that may mean that we could lose our jobs if it does not go well. Then my one coworker said she thinks Trump is the better candidate because when he was president we got better stimulus checks and he won’t keep wasting money on missiles and war. Everyone was dumbfounded and enraged. She kept going on joking and laughing about how people are overreacting. How all these people are talking about emigration, dropping out to school to go back home, etc.

Everyone in the room spoke with her privately and as a group. We spoke bluntly about how her actions, words, and choices has negatively and will effect all of our lives, including hers and her families. I am not expecting an apology from her. It is just not in her I have learned when I do ask for one or when setting boundaries between us.

That is not to say there is no hope. I have a feeling that after my discussion with her she is starting to realize what she did. Speaking about how the loss of rights will affect me personally, socially, economically, health wise, and more. I am not a crier, it is hard to get me to that point of outward distress. I almost cried and she noticed. Ever since she has been much quieter. The rest of the day she looked at us as her coworkers with regret.

A small glimmer of hope, but hope all the same.

There need to be dating apps that aren't for finding people to date and don't allow sexual or romantic come-ons they're specifically for finding people in your general area to hang out with. Living in the city you can just join a larp club or something but in towns it is so hard to find people with whom you can just hang out.

I know he’s kind of a polarizing character, but I have to say, Elias Bouchard truly is Iconic. When you hear the twist of “the boring middle manager was actually secretly an evil eldritch monster the whole time!” you sort of assume that the boring middle manager persona was just a facade, but no, he really does seem to just enjoy dull administrative work. He’s both exactly as boring as he seems on the surface and profoundly fucked up in ways you couldn’t imagine. He’s practically omniscient and playing 4-D chess with everyone, but he responds to even slight hiccups in his elaborate scheme with acts of extreme violence. He beats an old man to death with a metal pipe and when someone brings it up later he goes, “Yeah I may have overreacted there.” His employees are constantly trying to murder him. He broke out of prison just so he could give a dramatic monologue. He had a weird gay thing going on with seemingly every man he met in the past 200 years. He loves scheduling.
