25.06.25 prepping for the readathon!
Tonight my friend and I are starting our 24 hour readathon. I am planning on reading Babel😭. We just got loads of snacks and are gonna start at 21:00.
My options are
-Babel by R.F. Kuang
-Paper Towns by John Green (I’m rereading the books of my childhood with a sharper eye)
-Fang Fiction by Kate Stayman
The main goal is Babel but if I get bored or finish it the other two options are there!! I’ll update how it goes.
Can’t find my book mark plastic spoon it is
Took me until about halfway through college before I realized “study” means “play with the material in a variety of ways until you understand it” and not just “read the assigned chapters and do the homework” and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.

I ❤️ IRELAND!
I have given up reading ‘Carry On’ I love the Simon Snow Trilogy but I don’t think I will reread it. I haven’t finished ‘Beyond the Wall’ yet, I love Germanistik but non-fiction scares me I’m about half way through. Think I will start ‘Babel’ !

a lot of media assumes robots would be immortal but i think its a lot more interesting to explore robots dealing with their parts wearing down and battery life shortening and all the horrible little failings that come with being a complicated machine. sure they can replace parts but you'd assume you cant completely ship of theseus them, or it'd have pretty big rammifications on their sense of identity. idk. give me robots with distinct, unique signs of aging. as a treat.
16.06.25 - I love to loiter!!!!!
I made a coffee in my beloved bialetti moka. Had a pastry. Studied German and prepared for my internship for a few hours and then sketched!!
