Welcome back to another Yoglabs update!

I've been quite busy as usual these past few weeks or has it been months already? For starters, someone on the Shadow of Israphel discord server I'm on shared with me their own Yoglabs replica to my absolute suprise. I have scoured it up and down and checked the accuracy of both. I then came to the realization that a bunch of stuff was off about my map. I have gotten permission from them to "patch" my map with whatever mistakes I discovered whilst exploring theirs. They won't be working on it anymore so I figured it would be a waste to let such a good replica collect dust. This replica had most of the main rooms including the entire front gate with terrain. Speaking of which, I now have an ideal method of redoing the front of Yoglabs without needing to start from scratch. Their version was way more accurate so I meticulously pasted it over my existing terrain so as to not ruin the map I already had. The result is the following. I have already gone over it a few times and manually filled the gaps from videos once again. I'm sure that when it's done it will be the most accurate replica of the door that anyone has made so far. I have no pictures of a lot of the fixes as they were mostly minor misplaced blocks.

Next up I have added some rooms that I had been procrastinating on for a LOOOONG time. These are of course the barbeque room and the deep storage room with the t-rex skull. Neither of these were particularly easy to build and it was quite the struggle to get through them but now they are here so enjoy some comparison shots between the videos and mine. (also I know there's misplaced blocks between these pictures, I have already fixed those :3)

Last but not least I have been working on a cool new addition to Yoglabs, I won't say what it is but some among you might realize it pretty quickly. It takes up almost the entire area of the main labs and is an area that you might visit while exploring Yoglabs but could also just as well never see. It's a surprise for all of you. I also would like to give you all a few bonus pictures of some rather boring rooms that I added too. These are the Robot Fumblemore room and the spiral structure underneath that small platform all the way at the start of episode 1

I once again thank you for taking the time to read through these. I have been hard at work to try and release the map this year still. I'm so close to finishing it. It won't be many more updates from me here on Tumblr until it's in your hands. Goodbye for now :)

Hello everybodyyyyyy!!! I cannot express the smile I had on my face watching this footage. Your eyes do not deceive you, the FULL exterior of the Yoglabs map is finally done, after what were probably months of building you can now see the full island in all of it's glory! I now move on from developing this terrain to filling as much of the hill up as possible with awesome laboratory rooms. On that note, let's go over what's happening right now.

Pictured above is a slice of the lower areas of Yoglabs. The very large room on the left was meant to be one of the more ending areas I had in mind for the map, it was gonna be behind the room that has the robot army in it. I have since changed my mind on this and moved it to the other side of the map where it will connect in a more meaningful way to the rest. The very large area pictured in the middle is where the two big towers were that marked the start of this map. I felt they were limiting what I could do and they didn't serve any purpose other than to be kind of like the origin of how this map started. I have moved this build outside of the main map where it will remain and I will use this area as a new area that links the front of Yoglabs to the back where C.H.L.O.E and the sentinel bay is. This Bay (which you can see on the video above). will be removed however. I am building a better looking room to showcase the Sentinels. That big area will be a part of that, that's all I will say on that.

WIth the island being finished also comes the final two big rooms that required a bunch of worldediting. I am very happy with how both of these turned out but in all honesty I think the Pyramid Room needs another pass which I will probably do later down the line. Now you might be wondering, what the hell is left? Wasn't that the final parts that needed doing? And to that I say, you are correct. The map is, apart from a few tiny things, completely done. But that doesn't mean the parts I envisioned beyond what was seen are done. No those are still very much WIP but I can promise you that I am aiming to release this map in 2026 still. I hope you all like the more frequent updates and insight into how the map is going. I am trying my best not to show too much so there is still some surprises left to see. In any case, I'll see you all in the next update.

I was recently informed She-Ra would be taken off Netflix and this is sort of meant to be my reaction to that. I also wanted to do that broken mask viral image I’ve seen a bunch. I have all the episodes downloaded by the way so I’ll never lose one of the best shows ever. I’ve been in a real drawing mood this week. After recently finishing Silksong (and loving it). I just had to draw the most hype scene in the game.

Here’s my latest drawing I did. I finished chapter 3+4 not too long ago and this is how I imagine Ralsei coming home after that ending. My boyo deserves the world!

I made this as a sort of vent post art as Ralsei is very relatable to me, I even cosplay him over on tiktok. I hope Toby won’t do him dirty like this again 💔

Hey everyone I’m quite new to drawing. I recently binged She-Ra and wanted to draw something since I have a tablet that’s been collecting dust for years. This is actually the first thing I ever drew digitally and completed. It took me around 20 hours to make. That might seem like a lot for a drawing so simple (I didn’t even make a background) but I put a lot of effort into it. 

I’m open to any and all criticism and if you have tips for me I’d love to hear them. I had a lot of fun drawing best catgirl Catra so I’ll definitely be drawing more.

Hey guys, long time no see! This awesome new shader just released called Continuum 2.0 and I thought I’d strain my system with it. So it’s very much better than the older shaders, since this is taken with a x512 resourcepack at 64 render distance. And I still had about 5 fps over before my pc exploded. ^_^ So enjoy! And see how many landmarks you can spot in the world of SoI. :)

I also took some top down shots to just show the sheer scale of the SoI map. It’s really awesome seeing it like this in-game! Imagine if hardware and shaders get so optimized that I could film a cinematic at this distance and on this scale? :o
