This is the animatic I made for the ‘Story of a Square’ project. I recorded the sound myself with a ukulele and a keyboard.There were some sound effects on the keyboard as well that I used. I used Adobe Audition to edit the sound. I used photoshop to create the storyboard panels.

This is my treatment file for the ‘Story of a Square’ project. My concept was about travel and exploration. I wanted to make something lighthearted and fun, so I decided that the best way to explore my concept would be to have a child travelling into space to explore. I also wanted to use this project to get more experience using Illustrator and After Effects.

This is the brief for the ‘Story of a Square’ project. We had to create a 10 second animation that started with a square on the first frame and ended with a square on the last frame. What happened to the square inbetween was up to every individual student, the square could become anything.
