I really liked the design of these fellas

There's an extreamly funny and confusing meme clip from a Russian propagandist talk show where one of the guest mentions Patric Star for some reason and the host says I quote "Patric from SpongeBob is a *f-slur* so stop spreading LGBT propaganda". The guests asks "Why?" and the host answers in a mad voice "BECAUSE HE IS I'll send you the source later"

Yandere side of SpongeBob is integral for SquidBob in my opinion. Like, it's part of their dynamics that Sponge is, in plain terms, a bit of a stalker. He doesn't know what personal space is, he doesn't back off when he's said no, and even though he has nothing but good intentions, it's still, dare I say, "yandere" behaviour. And the show is pretty much aware of it. Squid's Visit is all about how SpongeBob is obsessed, and there are jokes/commentary on it here and there.

For me, it's pretty big part of their relationship, because it kinda... balances it? Like, I've seen countless times how people say that Squidward is pRobLemAtIc and tOxIc and that you can't ship them because he's so mean. And like, yeah, there is some truth in it, Squidward is not perfect who would've guessed, but SpongeBob is also kinda fucked up in therapy talk. They both are. Their relationship is nuanced. It doesn't have to be flawless to work and to be interesting as a ship dynamic. And they can still be sweet.

I know I'm arguing with a wall here, but I feel I have to explain myself kinda. Also I have an old doodle of stalker SpongeBob but I don't feel like finishing it cos it's meh

People wanna act like spongebob is a perfect angel, which, he isn't a bad person, but he is flawed and people seem to forget that when it comes to squidbob. spongebob and squidward are both flawed individuals, they seem the most unlikely pair but it just works together. and in turn, squidward DOES also spy on spongebob sometimes... also FIRE art oml, i didn't sneeze why did you bless me

wanted to start this au off with their first meeting in jellyfish fields with the wizard demonstrating his magic

It's so bizarre to me how American media portraits religion as the single one source of homophobia and transphobia, when the majority of homophobes I go into in my day to day life and in the media are not religious at all. I know it's merely a difference in cultures, but people around me give two fucks about Bible, going to church or praying, and they are still hating queers, because it's the default. Religion is not a reason for a hatred and not even an excuse, it's more of a skin in a video game, same bullshit but looks flashier. If Jesus himself comes to earth and says that gay is ok, those people won't stop hating.

I really really want to write a story about homophobia and transphobia that I'm familiar with, just blind hatred build on nothing but stereotypes and propaganda, with no face or symbols or something to be blamed for it. You see me?
