Diversity/sensitivity readers are a very important (somewhat newer) development within the gaming industry, and one that I hope becomes even more normalized. When someone makes comments in this manner while bragging about taking that responsibility, they do a serious disservice to all of the real diversity readers out there who want to do good and to help lift all of us up together. It tarnishes the credibility of the practice, and makes it harder for some to justify the development costs in order to find better ways of telling stories together.

This type of behavior is completely unacceptable. GB Patch deserves better. Kab deserves better. All of the gamers who have found a haven within the Our Life universe, where they can be themselves, deserve better.
