Lennon: you're a legend sammy
Lennon: do you have the replicas in your room?
Sam: I hardly see how that's possible but alright.
Sam: I do why?
If you had to switch personalities with anyone at Luxor for a day, who would you switch with?
“Dom. But that means he’d have my personality so I am not sure how much would really change. Especially since we would still have almost the exact same face.”
@domxkyle
What is your fascination with blonds?
“Do you understand how rare it is to be blonde? Out of millions of genetic code, blondes have one tiny mutation to make them blonde. Somewhere down in my brain I am attracted to blondes, people like what they like. If you don’t that just leaves more blondes for me.”

Lennon: and you solved them?
Lennon: what did you do with all that money
Sam: I did
Sam: ... Video games, pop figures, computer parts, a replica of Lucille the baseball bat from Walking Dead, replicas of Deadpool's swords Arthur and Bea...
Sam: and the rest of the puzzles they had.
Texts → Lennon
Lennon: yeah, i'd love that.
Lennon: 10,000 dollars for solving riddles? were they hard? that's pretty damn impressive sammy.
Sam: Well you have to solve the sonic puzzle first but yes. They were okay. Not too hard.
Sam and @sav-grey
sav-grey·:
Sav didn’t meet her father’s eyes at Sam’s first words, knowing he would have a few choice words in disagreement towards that - though he probably wouldn’t go off on one of her classmates, which had been Sav’s whole point in trying to summon over someone in the first place. In retrospect, Sam may not have been the best choice. “You’re right,” Richard said to Sam, Sav’s eyes snapping up to his face with a shocked expression. “Which is why I was hoping my daughter here would let me know who the boy in question was. I don’t suppose you know - ”
“Dad,” Sav said sharply, cutting him off with a glare and shake of her head. “Don’t. I’m not telling you anything. Sedona doesn’t know what she was talking about,” she said, her tone petulant as she denied the pregnancy scare yet again, though she knew he didn’t believe her. Sam was one of few people who knew it was true, and she really hoped he was smart enough to not bring that up. “I’m…fine. Haven’t had much time to try the food yet though,” Sav said to answer Sam’s question. The ironic fact was that recently Sam probably should’ve been more a concern to her father than Josh, who was the actual culprit, something Sav was painfully aware of at that moment, not wanting to give away any hints to make her dad jump to conclusions when he was already pissed off. “This is obviously my father. Dad, Sam. Sam, Richard Grey,” Sav added belatedly, really wishing she could just bolt from this conversation.
“No,” Sam answered quickly as Sav cut off her father as well. “Especially considering what you’ve been insinuating at was never true.” He shrugged and then looked back to Sav ready to ignore any more of that specific conversation. “You should, I’ve heard it’s good. Usually they have very good food during these things.” Even if both of them knew Sam wouldn’t really be eating any of it because of his stomach. “Samuel Kyle,” he held out a hand to Richard not expecting anything to come of the greeting. Introducing yourself and having a strong handshake was something everyone needed though and Sam kept that fact in his mind every time he met someone new. “Can’t say I’ve heard anything about you.”

“I don’t know who this boy was that you thought was worth almost risking for future for, but once again, you have proved just how irresponsible you are,” Richard Grey’s voice was a hiss as he spoke to his youngest daughter outside the welcome dinner, but still not quiet enough for Sav’s taste, briefly glaring at the student that dared approach when she was obviously getting lectured. “Dad, isn’t the whole reason you’re here to meet some of my classmates?” she said, the words a heavy hint as she flickered her gaze between him and the very welcome distraction.
Sam felt a bit confused as he walked over to the man who was obviously Sav’s father. Although the glare he was given didn’t faze him as he stood in front of both of them. “You do know that no one would risk their future for anyone correct? And I’ll also assume that it wasn’t just her being irresponsible especially since you mention it might have been for some boy.” Sam wanted to reach behind him and pull out his switch to play a game but kept his hands at his side. It would have been ruder to completely ignore him. “How are you Sav? Hopefully, the food has been good?”

Sam: How weird? As in fake food or actual food just vegan so it's kind of all mixed together?
Sam: Actually I'm still interested. I just have stomach issues so if there's something really fake I can't eat them.
Brownwyn: As in broccoli and mac & cheese with fake meat made out of like, tempeh. So, not the weirdest thing I've ever ingested. Also, not all that fake.
Sam: So fake cheese?
Sam: I'm still mostly interested in eating some of it with you.
sav-grey·:
Sav paused at Sam’s question - it was the type of thing she normally joked about, but didn’t actually talk about, so his follow up threw her a little off balance. She laced her fingers through Sam’s after he took her hand, tipping her head to one side as she debated how to answer. “Nah, not really. I mean, I think people think I should feel that way, but I kinda….just don’t care very much,” she finally said. Sav lightly traced her thumb against Sam’s hand where their fingers were intertwined, a small, amused smile crossing her face. “Offering to cheat for me. How chivalrous,” she teased. “But I’m fine - I don’t need the help, I just don’t see the point. It’s not like I have bad grades, they just could be better in some people’s opinions.”
“Okay,” Sam could live with not caring that was better than being worried or upset or anything else. It took him a moment to process the fact he was still being talked to. His mind only focusing on the small touch on his hand. “Less cheating more, one small change in a gradebook system here and there.” Cheating on tests were probably harder than just going into the teachers computer and changing the grade there. It was also easier than changing the actual gradebook and that could just be considered a glitch in the system. Why make things harder when it worked for Ferris Bueller after all. “Grades are trivial as long as you learn the material. Tests are awful ways of testing someone's intelligence. If you have a specific type memory you are guaranteed to do better than someone who doesn’t.”

“This photographer came up to me and told me he’d like to use me as a model. Think he’s legit or think he’s just trying to get into my pants?”
@luxorstarters·
Sam raised an eyebrow at the other. He shrugged and then went back to his video game focusing on that instead of the conversation. “Probably both. Or it could be him planning something else entirely. Either way it’s probably best to stay away.”

Lennon: instead of an advent calendar we'll just be making puzzles, i love that idea.
Lennon: wait they have riddles? what the hell that sounds so cool!
Sam: Yes, if you'd like to.
Sam: They are, I solved them a while ago because if you do solve them and then do the riddles online too you get 10,000 dollars.

Text ↪ Sam
Brownwyn: So, umm, well, I went shopping recently and I got these weird vegan foods, but there is a lot. I mean, like a lot. And I don't want them to go bad...
Brownwyn: So, what I wanted to ask, was, umm, if you would be interested in coming over and having some. Just so they don't go bad, of course. Not any, any other reason.
Sam: How weird? As in fake food or actual food just vegan so it's kind of all mixed together?
Sam: Actually I'm still interested. I just have stomach issues so if there's something really fake I can't eat them.
sav-grey·:
Sav shrugged up her shoulders again, throwing her book into her bag before she looked back up at Sam. “Wanna just go for a walk? It’s nice out today, might as well take advantage of it while we can,” she suggested. Though most people were avoiding the abandoned tracks after that disaster of a halloween party, there were plenty of other places on and around campus that were less creepy. “Uhhm, well. They think my grades should be better, especially if I want to get into a good college, I think that it doesn’t really matter and I don’t care either way if I get into a good college, so…” she let her voice trail off, knowing that was something that Sam wouldn’t relate to like a lot of her friends from Manhattan or the Hamptons did - after all, for most of them, it wasn’t really a worry - if they didn’t have good enough grades, their parents just bought their way into college. “Yeah. Anyways. I guess having over-achieving older sisters sorta set me up for failure on this one.”
Sam nodded and adjusted his bag ready to go on a walk. Colleges were a hard thing to talk about specifically because of Luxor’s own schooling. If Sam had the choice he’d have already been taking college classes like some classes and colleges allow you to do. Instead he had to rely on tests that only counted for so much. “Luxor tends to just accept the students that do well in high school or at least pass.” He paused for a moment and took Sav’s hand tilting his head a bit worried. “Is that really how you feel?” Sam was the ‘overachiever’ in his family and if his brothers thought themselves as failures because of him he’d be a bit upset. “If you’d like I can help you. By cheating or regular means.”
