Ash settled, fires ran out of fuel, and the only sound to fill the wizarding world were the screams of joy as Voldemort’s back hit the pavement. All would be well. Kingsley Shacklebolt would be appointed as the new Minister of Magic, who quickly took control of the Ministry, one of the hardest organizations hit during the war. He along with the entire Auror sector would quickly arrest any active and suspected Death Eaters and toss them in holding cells until the trials could begin. However, with virtually no ministry or form or legal system left standing, and a public crying out for blood and vengeance, he would be forced to issue an emergency decree stating that all proven Death Eaters were to be arrested effectively immediately and sentenced to 10-year sentences in minimum security sections of Azkaban prison. The people would be safe. It would satisfy their need for security for the time being, but as more interesting stories flooded the newspapers, they would forgot about those rotting behind the rusted bars of Azkaban prison.
Sanctus-rp is a brand new Harry Potter role play group that centers around the students of Harry’s era five years after the war, when all those prosecuted for Death Eater affiliations have been sent free due to a new Minister’s reign. They’re going to shops, taking jobs, and integrating into society once more. Some may have learned their lesson, but there are rumors that others are still trying to complete what their Dark Lord couldn’t, sending death threats and terrorizing Dumbledore’s Army members and ex Death Eaters alike. They call themselves the Children of Sanctus.
