Griflet!
The Marvels of Rigomer is the first thing I've read featuring Cligés, and I was actually quite surprised to find out that he is actually a Greek (or I guess Byzantine) knight!

Little Palamides x Iseult sketch because why not
Sometimes, I feel as though we, as storytellers, should embrace both Arthur and Guinevere's promiscuities at once, not downplay or run away from it.
Arthur can have his concubines and Guinevere can have her lovers (besides Lancelot). idk, learn to be detached from the morality of and/or need to moralize about the characters' sex habits and focus more on its potential as a tool for narrative and thematic use.
I say this cause I want to imagine a story where all the lovers get together and reveal insights about the royal couple - what Indeg, Angelica, Lisanor, Lancelot, Gosangos, Edern, etc., see in those two, behind closed doors, and who they are outside of being king and queen.
Here it is!! Had to get blood drawn today but I was super brave about it and didn't cry! So yay!

I had to drop a shit ton of money on replacing my iPad which fell onto concrete after my tote bags strap broke :,( that is to say, I drew a Jeanne to try to acclimate myself to the absurd jump up in quality from my old iPad which was running a really outdated version of procreate. It’s crazy.
Congratulations to Sir Gawain of Orkney and Sir Gromer for getting featured on the Wikipedia article about the History of Tennis!

How it feels trying to show anyone anything
I am a stranger in this life, haunted by yesterday's desires (Mordred)
before and afters below the cut (16+hrs)
So it's been about 5 (?) years since some of my friends suggested that I should give the Magnus Archives a listen because I would probably really enjoy it and at the time I was very much like 'nope, horror is just not my cup of tea'. so it kept getting reshuffled to the bottom of my list. I managed about 8 episodes 2 years ago but I was in the process of moving house so I got distracted and forgot to pick it up.
However, I finally got around to giving it another go a few weeks ago and damn it you were all right. It was SO GOOD I can't stop thinking about it. Does this make me a horror convert now? Who even am I any more???
Anyway I drew some art about it
many people ask 'how do i know my art is good enough to start a comic'. this is a very common mistake. you do not make a comic to make good art you make comics because its fun and looked yummy
saying this very gently. how will you improve
me when i improve the skill by (checks notes) not doing it so no one sees me doing it badly
STOP the "grimdark muddy and grey medievalism film about a white dude doing some bullshit" industrial complex. WHERE is the Questing Beast WHERE are the cool women WHERE are the people of color WHERE is the fun and whimsy and fantastical
Look at my birthday cake...
julie’s from the magma board. What are they putting in the water over there that makes drawing on that site so fun.
