The cat pictures
So, alot of people are speaking up that, that was a bad idea because of bacteria, and natural behavior. I'm not saying that I'm right in doing that. I simply want to say, that I realize the immediate dangers of my cat deciding to hunt, but I was very closely monitoring my cat's behavior, and if I felt she was going to hurt Sandile, I was prepared to jump into action. I only sat back to take the pictures, but whenever my cat would show interest in Sandile, I had my hand on her back, and on her chest to stop her. I'm not saying that what I did was correct, in any way. I simply want to say, I was paying close attention to make sure that they were both safe.
Sandile likes to explore, so I didn't want to stop her when she was curious in the cat. She is very stubborn, and would just continue going towards the cat if I tried to stop her.
Never once did I let the cat touch sandile, and I would never let her lick her. Mainly out of fear of the ridges on her tounge, and Sandile's delicate skin.
Somebody had said that my cat looked unhappy in the first picture, but that was only because she was listening to a noise in the hallway, and was tired. I assure you, she was not angry.
Again, I am not saying that I was right in doing that, or that people were wrong for bringing that to attention. I simply wanted to explain my thoughts in doing that, and point out that I was making absolutely sure that both were safe.
I apologize if anybody is mad at me for doing so. But I let Sandile explore what she wants, so long as I am absolutely sure that it's safe.
