It's okay to admit to yourself and others that you don't have the energy for the some things, especially when these things are the ones that drained you and brought you to burnout. If you don't have the energy or desire to engage in certain situations, conversations, discussions or taking more work, you can be open and communicate this to others. If they don't understand, remember that you are not wrong for prioritizing yourself. Don't let anyone guilt you into believing this.
It is okay to walk away from what drains you.
I believe that's the real challenge of moving forward and sometimes it's also the reason why we can't move on from others, because they remind us of the way that we used to be.
Letting go isn't easy, but it's necessary.
