If you haven’t already, could you do reactions for the Fortemps family finding out the wol is pregnant with Haurchefant‘s child after he’s already passed? And if possible, what roles they might try to take up in the child’s life with the wol being a single parent and all. Thank you!

Shock. Awe. A happiness that is bittersweet. Vows to make up for all his son had suffered by giving his grandchild everything that had been denied his son. Calls you his “dear child”. Holds you when you cry. Tries his damnedest to be most doting, loving grandfather there ever was. An added father figure in your life as well.

Is noticeably softer. Regretful of the way he had treated his younger brother in thanks to his mother’s bitterness and manipulations. Of the way he had treated you at the start. He promises to be there for the child. To be there for you. He is particularly embarrassed by the assumptions he had made of Haurchefant’s regard for you. Sisterly? Clearly that had clearly not been the case. Buys you too many presents in a bid to be well prepared. He is awkward, still emotionally stilted at times, but trying his best. Wants to be a good uncle. (Might be a little in love with you, but it’s a Fortemps thing. They’ve a weakness for you, the whole bloody family. He should have known this would happen.)

Emmanellain

The one who cries like a baby and wants to touch your belly. Talks to the baby constantly, telling stories of Haurchefant and his own shenanigans. Has Honoroit at your beck and call despite your protests. Insists on putting together baby furniture; very badly. Honoroit ends up doing most of it as Emmanellain lays on the floor and complains. The fun uncle, of course. (Honoroit is an honorary uncle. He might cry a little. He’s so, well, honored!)
