The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

decided itd be really cute in my omegaverse au if seulgi has a warm orange scent (matches her summer season but also spiced orange is a winter drink) while jaeyi is mint (cold for winter but part of many summer refreshments).

now to figure out spring and autumn scents.

(i think yeri also has to be a fruit of some sort (i mean she already is have you seen the way she looks at kyung) but it strengthens the parallels to seulgi - esp. in this au where they've both trauma repressed their scents, seulgi to mask as a beta after the bullying, yeri because she's afraid of the attention it brings after seeing her mother weaponise it (even tho she wears a pheromone perfume bc she has to be the perfect omega) - but also the ties to financial instability/poverty, the hyper-awareness of their social position, the outsider position to chaewha/seoul high society.

didnt explain it well in the og tags but omegaverse!christian theology assumes even tho no designations are given, that adam is an alpha and eve is an omega and cain is an alpha and abel is an omega.

and therefore taejoon (alpha) as god creates jaena (alpha) and decides that isnt good enough. and creates jaeyi (omega)...

i want it to be vagueee abt whether taejoon or jaena or seulgi is the adam to jaeyi's eve. perhaps they all are, to some extent. eve created from adam's rib points to taejoon, not a god but a man. eve created by god to be adam's counterpart and stand beside him points to jaena, side by side in family pictures. but its seulgi who'd take a bite of the apple if eve offered it. who'd be kicked out of heaven for jaeyi.

god had no regard for cain's offering, only abel's. and so cain killed his brother.

taejoon has no regard for jaena. and so, obviously, doesn't that mean jaena will kill jaeyi?

the priests say cain could only have been an alpha - the aggression! the anger! the firstborn farmer, of course his physical strength overpowered his poor omega brother, the nurturing shepherd. there's no othef explanation.

but the shepherd killed first. he sacrificed his sheep and was rewarded by god, while grains were not good enough. didnt god want blood to be spilt?

jaeyi has to unlearn that which the church and her father has impressed into her - that there is innate conflict between her and her and jaena. and by doing that, she eats the metaphorical apple. she casts herself out of the walled garden that is her life in seoul's high society (and therefore chaewha), because that is what it takes to prove that taejoon is not a god. he hasn't cast her out. she's escaped.

anyway bc its me and its my au im focusing less on the original ending (even though its so good and i love it and i wish i had the energy to analyse it and speak for hours on it) but instead im going to focus on making four teenagers kill god and their personal demons. and by that i mean the chaewha four plan a heist, expose corruption, and maybe also run over a pimp

you're so right yeri is absolutely a fox, i said just a red fox bc it matches her hair and foreshadows that she isnt as wealthy/exotic as she presents herself and being from busan it ties into foxes being countryside predators that have taken advantage of urban areas!! (also apparently red foxes were very common in korea but are now rare, so again it ties into yeri once being rich but falling from it)

kyung has a little owl (yes, thats the species name.) not only does it match her dork vibe, they're symbols of wisdom and were used by nobles to hunt small prey, (much like how lawyers are used by rich people to eliminate problems). they're also never the apex bird of prey in an area, which is unfortunately very fitting for kyung's permanent second-best.

jaeyi i think would be a snake. traditionally the symbol of medicine, slightly sinister, coldblooded... snakes also symbolise duality, personal transformation, winter, water, deceit ect. there's a lot of snake symbolism that matches jaeyi's characterisation!! (theres also smth to be said abt jaeyi being a snake, taejoon's obsession with auspious dates and superstition, jena being a year older than her sister, and the dragon, the most auspicious year in the chinese zodiac, being the year before the snake)

jena's daemon used to take the form of a lamb as a child (lamb of god imagery). probably settled as a mouse or rabbit for that animal testing imagery :) and prey animal vibes :)) especially around all the predator daemons in her life:))) i do think her daemon was unsettled for a while and its another jena-seulgi parallel

taejoon i could also see as a snake for similar reasons to jaeyi + it fits his making a child in his image god complex, but for a bird of prey i want to say a black kite, because of their hunting preferences - they're opportunists that prey off animals escaping - and will often carry burning branches to start fires to drive their prey out, which is sadistic enough to match taejoon (also, their only predator is the eurasian eagle owl, and i think itd be so funny if thats kyung's mom daemon, reinforcing that he can actually be damaged by the legal system)

seulgi's being unsettled,,, oohhh. i think its hard to settle (ha) on a daemon for her since she's quite mutable? seulgi at the orphanage would likely default to having a small daemon like a vole, plus being able to shift daemons would help her with the drug dealing. at chaewha i think she takes it as a new start and i can see a few options - the solitary predator of a leopard cat? the snake-eating (heh) yellow-throated martin, sharing her signiture colour? her father's daemon species? a dhole, to add to kyung's dog comment but ultimately being untamable? there's options. i do think that when she gets the shoes from jaeyi, her daemon takes the form of a snake. they're matching <3
