Everyone's predicting who's going to represent what god in Pantheon smp, and I don't really know what to add because I wanna keep my mind open, but the idea of Pyro being Apollo's champion and Apo being Artemis' champion and them being siblings is calling to me

Pantheon SMP idea.

Shelby as the Champion of Artemis and Pyro as the Champion of Apollo.

Apollo and Artemis are twin siblings.

Fledgling Duo are largely accepted to be "siblings" in Vampires.

What if they leaned into their siblings-like dynamic for this SMP and are the champions of twin Greek gods Artemis and Apollo?

the specific thing that makes me so deranged about vpyros story is how utterly unfair it all is. hes put into the absolute worst position as first turned, too early to have made the strong connections he would have needed to escape, the only person he did manage to get close with thought he betrayed her when he thought he was showing her mercy by trying to make her turning less traumatic than his own, so hes completely isolated with his abuser. and then when a second fledgling comes into the picture she is so taken by scott that she actively dismisses when they express how much they fear him. hes the low hanging fruit of the coven, making him the perfect punching bag for the town (and especially avid). he busts his ass trying to prove himself over and over and over again for his efforts to always be dismissed. he was scared and desperate for an escape and he just so happened to have the worst possible witness. and avid, who was sowing the seeds of violence from day one decides he wants to be turned when it becomes convenient for him, and he gets the cushiest landing, he gets all the attention from scott that pyro always wanted. hes moulded into a weapon and when he finally fires he loses all hope in ever winning over the people hes been trying to desperately convince to care about him. and hes put down like a dog, scared, weak, pathetic, alone in a crypt. and he doesnt even get a grave

Something I see a lot of people say is that Scott is actually the most reliable narrator because "he admits to being evil" but I'm sorry, he is not. Just because he tells the audience he knows what he's doing is wrong doesn't make him reliable. He's just unreliable in a different way.

Scott is an unreliable narrator because his perspective makes the viewer take everything more lightly. From his POV, he's just a silly little evil guy doing silly little evil things and having fun with it, whereas everybody else actually has to deal with the consequences. Subtly, it makes you forget that he is in fact the bad guy and that the harm he causes is straight up hurting other characters. It's why a some people still side with Scott in the scene where he intimidates Pyro out of getting help from humans. It's "how dare Pyro lie to him" and not "Pyro is stuck in an abusive situation and trying his best to get out but ultimately failing" because Scott's POV makes it hard to take the abuse seriously. The same can be said for Apo and all the things Scott does to her. Somehow, she's the one in the wrong for not siding with the coven that coerced her into turning. People say they know that Scott is the villain, but then they can't imagine others as his victims.

This also carries into people's feelings about Avid and his death. Scott cared about that guy! How dare Owen and (especially) Pyro take him away! God forbid it make sense for their narrative arcs. God forbid Scott made Pyro a gun and didn't expect him to go off against HIM. No, they're just evil and irredeemable. That's all. Because Scott has absolutely no fault in that situation at all, and even if he did, that's just him being a silly little evil guy! And being a silly little evil guy doesn't have consequences!

Yes, Scott admits that he's evil. Yes Scott tells you when he's lying. But that doesn't make him any more reliable of a narrator. They're all pretty equally unreliable, and I think that's beautiful :)

I believe that all v!Pyro could see when he was killing Avid was Czeslaw. Down to the feelings he was having. While the murder was premeditated, that same rush of adrenaline and uncertainty rushed through him.

He knew Scott or Shelby would kill him after it, just as he knew his parents would be angry after he killed Czeslaw. Part of them also wanted that anger. Because people being mad at him meant he was seen.

Pyro comes to the quick and horrible realization that he is not the clever hero in this story. He’s just another wretched fool. A fool who walked right up to a faerie portal on the night the veil between realms is the thinnest like he expected to end up anywhere but here.

But still. A fool who Abolish Veylocke of all people seems to be trying to save.

What other option does he have? He can’t kill the only man in Oakhurst who noticed he was missing and gave enough of a damn to walk into the fae realm after him.

“If I give you my name,” Pyro says, stilted because god, he wants to do anything but, “you’ll let him make it here?”

“I didn’t say that. There are plenty of my kind out in the forest that could hinder him. Or kill him. These woods are dangerous, you know.” There’s unspoken condescension behind Scott’s grin. Didn’t your parents teach you not to wander off into the trees at night? Something nasty might find you and snatch you up. “But I won’t interfere with him. If he manages to get all the way here, it’ll be the most entertaining thing to happen in decades.”

so I asked my friend for an angst prompt and they gave me "girl in a cult falls in love with someone outside of cult"

And uh- it may have given me some ideas

(They said the prompt could be about any gender too, but ima say it's both Yaoi and Yuri)

Anyways au idea: modern human vampires smp cult au! I've actually seen one or two ppl with cult ideas for the coven before, and I like it too. So basically, Pyro joined a cult. Scott Goldsmith is leader of said cult and him and Owen got him to join. Owen joined because he had recently lost Louis and Scott took advantage of that yk the usual cult manipulation shit. There are other members of the coven as well, mainly unnamed tho. Did I mention this is a firelocke au yet? Cause this is actually firelocke (with some toxic majorscythe on the side).

Pyro is in university and roommates with Apo. Though recently he's been a bit... off. Not in his normal weird way but as in he's acting super cagy when Apo asks him why he's home so late. Normally she wouldn't care about Pyro's whereabouts but there's been more people missing recently than there was before, and she’s worried. Her friend's friend, Avid she thinks his name was? Is convinced there's something supernatural going on, which she calls bullshit. He says it's a cult, then he says it's vampires, and now all him and Shelby talk about are werewolves and vampires and Sausage is joining in and she doesn't want to deal with this anymore. Martyn also thinks the vampires are stupid, though he did seem to consider the idea there may be a cult...

Abolish, ex cult member and currently residing in a city called Oakhurst, is searching for Goldsmith. He's getting more confident, and it seems his coven is growing. He isn't sure how this doctor knows about about coven, but at least he has an extra hand in taking the cult down. On the other hand, his friend Pyro has been acting strange, huh.

Shelby is scared to go out at night; her mom always said going out after dark was dangerous and though she didn't usually follow that rule the missing persons cases are weighing on her mind and there's even talk of a curfew. At least she's not going out alone. Pyro said he has something to show her, and besides, she'd be back before midnight. He'd talked to her alot these past couple weeks, he says he may have an idea what's behind these missing persons cases. He didn't deny her when she asked if it was supernatural, and that was enough for her.

I think I'm going to make Scott a real vampire

Everyone in the coven is a either a human, or some sort of thrall. Scott's planning on turning Owen, and Owen is high up in the cult hierarchy.

Apo gets inducted into the cult and is not happy about it. It goes pretty much the same as in canon but she isn't turned into a vampire. Avid and drift do show up though and she does push Pyro off a bridge. Pyro is very wet cat about this "why did she push me off a bridge D: "

Shelby gets yoinked into cult about two weeks after Pyro, and Drift seems to be the only person that's noticed this. What is going on with her girlfriend? Why is she leaving for the woods in the middle of the night??

I kinda want to make this into a long fic but also my writing motivation comes to me randomly so I might just make art for it instead :)

Does Owen not care that Pyros reeks? Of blood, or otherwise? Is he just non judgemental/doesn't care about Pyros well-being that much, or does he actively enjoy the smell of lingering blood?

I don't think the blood is that obvious to the human nose compared to a vampires, at best Pyro stinks of 15 in 1 soap and an excess amount of deodorant spray to cover up for his shitty hygiene.

The Pyro vs Shelby poll round is insane, to put it into perspective - Owen and SmallishBean's round 2 poll has the 2nd highest amount of votes at 9,043 total votes.

Pyro and Shelby's round had 18,270 total votes with Pyro alone getting 9,641 votes - a 598 vote lead to Owen and Joel ENTIRE poll - and even Shelby's smaller voting poll is only smaller by 414 votes. The soldiers on both sides were FIGHTING tooth and bloody nail in this war.
