“In everyone’s life, there is a moment that makes the difference, and this was our moment. A station, a train and a run that could decide our fate, just as it happened so many years ago. At that moment, I felt the beginning and the end of our story come together. Like an infinite loop. As infinite as what Francisco and I felt for each other.”
You can always count on me, you know.
Ned Stark’s daughter will speak for them. She’s the best they could ask for.
Brandon Stark’s journey throughout GoT is the human representation of doing nothing in a group project and still getting an A
“He wanted to see her face again, to smile at her and muss her hair, to tell her she was safe” - Jon IX, ADWD
am i expected to believe the dragon understands the concept of the iron throne deeply enough to hold it and what it represents accountable for driving Daenerys to the point of madness….the dragon gets complex issues of morality is what i’m expected to believe
Current Mood: Arya smiling proudly at Sansa
One of the reasons GoT ended up being a massive disappointment is bc every character seems to end up alone. That’s the end of their story and they’re all alone, they’re without the people they love most in the world. None of the Starks are together. Even after hearing for years about “the lone wolf dies, the pack survives”, they all separate. Bran and Sansa are both coronated without a single member of their family there. Brienne is alone without Jaime, as is Tyrion. It all just seems incredibly depressing. It’s an awful cold and uninspiring message to leave your audience with after 10 years. All your favourite characters either died (before or after their arcs were destroyed) or they ended up alive and alone. What a miserable legacy to leave.
Jon Snow ended exiled as bastard clearly miserable
Sansa Stark ended as Queen in the north but alone
Arya Stark will travel the world alone without Gendry bc his title
Bran Stark ended as King when he didn’t want to.
I think in the Starks is the bittersweet ending everyone alive in the places their meant to be but without love.
me when I read those leaks
The North remembers. We know no king but the King in the North, whose name is Stark.
im in fucking tears
what pisses me off the most is that jon killed dany the exact way I always imagined jaimie killing cersei and it’s so frustrating
Absolutely spot on
what i say: i’m fine.
what i mean: it was the series finale, and i had to watch tyrion fix the chairs under a dining room table, and listen to bronn pitch his five year brothel rebuilding plan when i could have instead been given a proper stark sister goodbye scene, a scene where they are proud of each other and proud to be starks.
