BeyondTwo.com Polyamorous Dating Review
I woke up this morning to this image texted over to my phone from Will, who is in New York this week on a business trip. Even when he is not physically with me, he manages to send the sweetest notes to me almost every morning. When he is around he leaves post-its here and there around my house in various covert areas like my planner or on the fridge, but usually on my medicine cabinet, so that he's the first one to greet me in the morning. Will and I have been together for nearly three years, but the way we act is like we're in a perpetual honeymoon stage.
I roll out of bed and get ready for work. And by work that means usually from home. It's afforded me the flexibility in recent years to work later hours and devote time to side projects, which I've worked on at the beach, something I consider myself lucky to be able to do, considering most of my friends are still doing the 9 to 5 grind. It helps that I live in beautiful Santa Monica. I love it here. After lunch on most days I take my bike and ride to the pier, then work on my laptop at the beach for a couple hours before biking home. It gives me a chance to get out and get some sunlight and yet being able to get work done while enjoying a view. Sometimes I ride alone and other times I go with Wes, my other boyfriend.
Wes and I have been dating for nearly three years also. At the time I began dating both Will and Wes, they both knew I'm polyandrous, roughly meaning that I prefer having more than one boyfriend at a time. This has proved very fortuitous for all of us, especially because we are all working professionals with our own houses and live near each other. We are lucky to be able to get away from each other once in awhile and have our own personal space. It helps maintain sanity and keep the relationship strong because when we are away from each other, it makes coming together that much more special, rather than constantly being in each other's faces. It's also nice that Wes is my neighbor. Will is away on business trips and doesn't have to worry that his absence is a problem when Wes is around. Our open communication with each other has made all the difference.
Recently, I have mentioned to Wes and Will my desire to add a third. Will has been very supportive of my decision and even found a new, free polyamory dating site called www.BeyondTwo.com and told me about it. Wes created a profile for himself to test the waters, and has approved, so I'll be putting up one soon. Although he doesn't often log onto the site, he's had a few messages from people, so we'll see how it goes. We're glad to see a free poly dating site that doesn't limit the number of messages we can send, and has a "dashboard" feature that gives you updates on what people have done recently e.g. add new picture, update their profile, etc., similar to the "recent activity" feature on another singles dating site I've seen. Check out the site and tell me what you think: BeyondTwo.com
