helloooooo lonely art blog! i have spent march basically working my way through nearly 400 episodes of one piece (i've read the manga like 7 times but this is my first time through the anime-- picked up where i left off a year or two ago at ep 230 or so) 

anyway here are some quintessential trafalgar law expressions because i am not very good with expressions other than fairly neutral ones and law reacting to the strawhats/otherwise being ridiculous little shit is basically my favorite thing

venxy did a terrible thing to me and now our fire gods are homestuck trolls as well as teenage pokemon trainers.

filora is an indigoblood but i couldn't completely abandon her red/orange theme so i just did my best to make it not look terrible. zangan is her rustblood kismesis, although she def initiates that and he's prob pretty peeved about it for quite a while whoops.

fun facts about this au as opposed to their usual: zangan is much younger for once when he's usually way the older one! also probs either about the same height or shorter, when canonically he's about 8' and she's 5'4" <3333

venxy and i started talking about our old ocs filora and zangan as pokemon trainers so now if i ever get my hands on emerald, filora's gonna be my trainer for that, haha. i'm even preplanning her team, i'm terrible, oh dear. 

anyway filora as a pokeverse human is a precocious thirteen-year-old who runs away from her childhood of a series of foster homes to begin her pokemon journey. she meets zangan and pretty much his life is over at that point because epic hate/love + teenagers = disaster. she punches him in the junk the first time they meet. poor guy. 

anyway she's a fire trainer, since filora and zangan in their original conceptions are pretty much fire gods, so her starter is gonna be a torchic and i am definitely feeling this flareon and a moltres if i can get my hands on it (i'm gonna be doing a lot of trading out of my fire red game, i forsee) and i'm thinking a metagross because it sort of fits and is also p much badass as hell even tho it's not fire type. balancing a type-specific team is hard //whines.

this. got away from me. anyway these are some of the dragons of various species from my lair that i am either the most attached to or have the most personality for//? 

ashling, the fae, is the matriarch of the clan. she’s kind of bossy and aggressive and it’s just really best not to cross her, really. 

sable, the spiral, was hatched on my birthday!! she’s a near-miss triple obs and i just like her a lot 

tempest is one of my sister’s first hatchlings (she joined fr at the same time as me) and therefore one of my first gift dragons <3 she is kind of a wild child (wind element) and is one of the few dragons in the clan who sort of gets away with just. not listening to ashling

canaan was my first coatl and i am in love with her forever just ugh she was the cutest baby uwahhhh 

damien was my first (actually only so far) unhatched egg i found and he hatched out PERFECT ugh ugh. irri/shimmered him and yeah he is basically the reason i realized i do actually like tundras

and this is our captain, the gallant paintbrush nikol herself 

she is mostly notable for her ability to tread water for days upon end, as proved by the fact that often when she refuses to get back out of the ocean for a swim, her crew have simply left without her, gotten their cargo unloaded at their destination, and then come back and gotten her whenever they remember, "hey, guys, have you seen the captain lately?" 

i was actually drawing her in stuff that she would p much wear (short shorts, 1700's styled waistcoat) in the first one and it was only partway through that i realized that it comes off sort of very much as a callback to what luffy wears ahahahah 

it turns out that rei-chan is very fun to draw how have i not done this very much before

drawing has been really hard lately i am p much emotionally and intellectually wiped out by this recent depressive episode which is only sort of starting to get a little bit better 

but i have been getting into one piece again and i am very excited about the self-insert oc pirate crew me and my friends run so i am gonna try to draw some of our pirate selves 

this is butterfly sao of the paintbrush pirates, the cook on the ship maximillion. her sister nikol is the captain! sao has somehow come by and consumed the "chou chou no mi" aka the butterfly fruit, which, against all common sense, is not a zoan but a logia-type fruit. she is literally made of butterflies. her entire body is the essence of butterflies. this is actually somewhat terrifying. please commence to imagining being covered by a swarm of butterflies. or don't, if this would make you v uncomfy. i'm sorry.  

anyway i have way too much to say about the paintbrush pirates but i am sure that nobody is that interested so i will stop there hahah <3

anyway i recently watched all of fma: brotherhood and then all of the original series in like. this week? or so? so here are some endgame elric brothers with cats. mostly al because i am basically in love with baby human al after watching conquerers of shamballa ugh my heart

the best thing about reverse fairytale (among many) is that despite how frail and unassuming the king lithi looks next to the huge and menacing bridge troll chlorine.... it's lithi you should actually be more afraid of.  the troll is quite good-natured once you get to know him. lithi is tempermental and bloodthirsty and will fuck your shit up.
