Day 1- Sunday, February 25th: Meet Ugly
You know what a meet cute is, now get ready for a meet ugly. There are so many amazing, hilarious hot-mess prompts out there for this that you can easily search “meet ugly prompts” and find a goldmine. Some examples: “I was in a hurry and ran into you outside the coffee shop while you were carrying two lattes and it turns out they were both for you except that now you’re wearing them I’m sorry,” “You look a lot like my good friend so I ran up behind you and grabbed your ass with both hands in front of everyone I’m so sorry,“ “Sometimes I steal flowers from your garden on my way to the cemetery, but today you’ve caught me and have demanded to come with me to make sure the ‘girl is pretty enough to warrant flower theft’ and I’m trying to figure out how to break it to you that we’re on your way to a graveyard;” “You were being chased by the cops, jumped in my car and just yelled ‘drive!’” “We met each other on Sunday, both doing the walk of shame;“ “You broke into my apartment drunk thinking it was your friend’s house and I should call the cops but my cat kinda likes you so we’re good;” “You’re the bastard who keeps parking right in front of my house so I retaliated by keying your car and you caught me,” and many more!
Day 2- Monday, February 26th: Constantly Mistaken for a Couple
Clarke and Lexa have insane chemistry, no doubt about that. Create an au where they are constantly being mistaken for an actual couple! Are they secretly already a couple? Are they best friends since childhood and shocked that someone somehow thinks they’re more, until oh now they get it too. Are they boss and employee and horrified (but secretly thrilled) at the idea? Are they rivals and enemies desperately trying to masquerade sexual tension as hatred and the fact that people keep thinking they’re a thing is annoying them so much they might just kiss the other out of spite to prove there’s no attraction, but wait… Are they celebrities, exasperated and bemused by their fans claiming they are their OTP? Do they decide to take advantage of it to get free food at a restaurant (fake proposals for free breadsticks, fake engagements for free wedding cake samples)? You decide!
Day 3- Tuesday, February 27th: At Work
Are they lawyers getting hot and steamy in the office after hours? Are they doctors who practically live in the call room bed? Is Lexa a detective and Clarke in forensics and they should probably find it weirder how much they flirt over dead bodies? Want to write a Psych AU, a Castle AU, a Gotham AU? There’s so much you can do with a prompt this general, have fun with it!
Day 4- Wednesday, February 28th: Accidental Stimulation
Oh, the nsfw opportunities for this. This is, in other words, the “whoops I didn’t mean to get turned on but here we are.” Is Lexa in “Commander” mode and Clarke, quite frankly, a little bewildered by how much it’s affecting her? Is Lexa getting a little too heated watching Clarke eat that ice cream? Are they playing a game of Twister (game effectively ending by Raven going, “I am never playing Twister with you freaks again”). Are they total strangers who met on the train by having a heated debate over the book Lexa’s reading? Are they neighbors whose windows face each other? Did the heating go out in the house so they have to cuddle for warmth? Did the air conditioning go out and Clarke can’t stop staring at her friend as she piles her hair above her neck and sweat trails down that collarbone? Did that canon scene where Clarke backs Lexa into a table end in a different way? (not gonna lie, hoping for a lot of fics and art for this day:) )
Day 5- Thursday, March 1st: Rivals in a Secret Relationship
This one pretty much speaks for itself, but here are some examples anyway: Clexa are celebrities famous for their “big celebrity feud” and have ridiculous twitter fights bc their producers make them to keep up appearances and promote their big movie, but in reality they sneak over to each other’s flat all the time and are secretly engaged; Lexa’s not supposed to be dating anyone bc of her demanding professional athletic career but oops she’s secretly banging her medical trainer; “You come to the restaurant I work at and choose me as your waitress every time just to annoy me and I can’t do anything in retribution or I’ll get fired,” “I have to spend the night at my longtime rival’s house, everything will totally be fine because their parents are there (or not),” “everyone thinks we hate each other and we keep that front up in public, so we have hilarious pretend fights and squabbles and pranks,” “You were going to meet my parents this weekend but my dad’s a cop and I just got a call from him and I think you’re the one he just arrested,” etc.
Day 6- Friday, March 2nd: Famous
Create something in which Clarke and/or Lexa are famous. This one would be easy to incorporate Lexark into as well. Is Clarke a talk show host and Lexa’s an actress and Clarke thinks Lexa’s a snob but really Lexa just couldn’t hardly speak because Clarke is so pretty. Is Clarke bragging to a gorgeous stranger about how she’s famous for once winning a hot dog eating contest and Lexa’s trying to fight off a smile because Clarke clearly has no idea she’s won an oscar (which Clarke finds out not long after, when a hundred fans start converging in the street having recognized Lexa). Is Clarke a famous blonde bombshell who escapes away into a small town where no one knows her, and falls for the grumpy gruff innkeeper? *whispers* Christmas Inheritance au… “I was hired to walk up to you and kiss you in public for the paparazzi and I only did it because I’m broke but you are a good person and a good kisser I’m so sorry.“
Day 7- Saturday, March 3rd: Free Day
On the last day of Clexaweek2018, it’s a free for all. You can choose one of the themes from the poll that didn’t make it, or something entirely of your own. Anything you want!
Now is the time we put our noses to the grindstone! Remember you can take part in any way: You can write a one-shot or start a multi-chaptered fic you later finish, you can post however much you want, you can create stuff for every single day or only do stuff for one day, or participate by sharing others’ work and commenting on fics, etc. Let’s spread the word and enjoy Clexa Week for what it is: bringing Lexa back to life, celebrating Clarke and Lexa’s love, and Clexakru being lextra as hell, and supporting one another through this week :)

Haha I’ve wanted a vanity plate for a long time, and could never come up with something clever with only 6 characters. After my wife and I bought those Clexa pieces in the coffee shop, the idea just hit us. She’s crazy about Lexa and I’m crazy about Clarke, so it just worked. The two art pieces are even hung above our bed over the respective sides we sleep on.

Our neighbor stopped me in the parking lot to express her utter excitement over how awesome our license plates are. Needless to say she thinks my wife and I are the coolest neighbors ever. We’re just doing our part to keep our ship alive.
