Are you still working on "The Many Adventures of Duckburg's Heroes!"?

Hey!
So... Yeah, I haven't really been active here on Tumblr or on AO3 for a while. The last year and a half has been kind of busy for me... I had a baby, amongst other things!
I have a half-written author's note for the current story, which I will eventually post, but here's the gist:
One of the reasons I stopped working on "Attack of the Fearsome Five!" was... well, I was bored of it. This was one story in the saga that I just didn't find joy in writing. I kept saying to myself "it's just writer's block" and thinking I'd get over it, but nope. I eventually had to acknowledge that it wasn't a chapter of the series I was really excited to write. I wasn't having fun working on it, and every time I brought up the document I'd get upset and frustrated. So I just stopped. (And then, you know, had a baby, so there's been a lot of other stuff going on in my life.)
Will I finish it? Maybe. Maybe not. I know the general way of how the story goes and I'll put the Cliffnotes version in the Author's Note I'll eventually get around to publishing on AO3. Will I continue the series? Maybe. Maybe not. I've been really focusing on some original writing for a while now, and fanfic has kind of been pushed to the side. But fanfic is how I learned to write, how to tell stories, and (at a lot of key moments of my life) how I've kept myself together mentally and emotionally. And there's still a lot of things that I had planned with this series that do still bring me joy to think about and that I do still want to write, someday. I'll never say I will never write fanfiction again, or never work on this series again, just say that right now it's not what is bringing me joy to write and focus on.
I'm so glad that so many people have been enjoying my writing, and this series in particular. I hope that someday I'll return to it. But, for now, it's on indefinite hiatus.
