Frostbo Brass.
This golden clouds shines with fine glimmers from disregarded brass waste. The workshop in Scandinavia where this stunning scrap metal comes from makes candlestick holders.
Concept and Design by Sarah Button
Frostbo Tall.
This source of light shines proudly through disregarded brass from a black-smith forge in Södermanland, Sweden.
Concept and Design by Sarah Button
My latest lamp in the Frostbo collection.
This sharp beauty comes mixed metal waste. Straight from a metal workshop on Öckerö, a tiny Island outside Gothenburg, Sweden.
It hangs, with extraordinary light, in the home of the buyer .
I really love this one. As well as loving the fact of using our waste as resources as treasures.
Drift wood and Tap Hanger, 2013. Designed with inspiration from the sea combined with the love for scrap metals.
Recycle Design, "Frostbo"
A light source designed out of aluminium waste from a local blacksmith in Eskilstuna. For more information about Frostbo, www.frostbodesign.se
The collection has been a part of the competition Sörmex 2013 in Södermanland in Sweden. Upcoming exhibition through Sörmex this Autumn.

“The Upside Down World” 2013
This was a collaborative project with several companies of public transport in Eskilstuna where we were individually assigned to make an artwork or installation with a bag of lost and found items and a theme – “Where are we headed?” More about the exhibition here: http://www.eskilstuna.se/sv/Bygga-bo-och-miljo/Miljo/Hallbara-resor-och-transporter/Mobilitetsgruppen1/Pa-vag-at-ratt-hall/
My installation was made by creating clouds with padding from a winter jacket, screen-printing a text on a cashmere scarf and turning an umbrella upside down.
Recycle Design artwork "The Wild Roses Well" Made recycled materials, with Bicycle Tubes and Tin Cans. This artwork was inspired by the Julita Manor Garden, Sweden. http://www.nordiskamuseet.se/slott-gardar/julita-gard
The piece is a part of the exhibition "Julita Trädgård under 500 år" for the Nordics Museum. http://www.nordiskamuseet.se/slott-gardar/julita-gard/hem/park-och-tradgard/julitas-tradgard-under-500-ar

Wreath "Frostbite" 2012
A wreath entirely made out of metals saved from being thrown away. The base is made out of chicken wire, then wrapped with aluminum waste and decorated with tin can roses.
A lamp from the thrift shop got a new life with Hockey Pucks for a re-make room on Swedish Television "Fixa Rummet".

Collography - Cogwheels, Plastic Flowers and Sequins in Space. 2013 Collagraphy is a printmaking process in which materials are applied to a rigid substrate (such as paperboard or wood). My print is made with cogwheels, plastic flowers and sequins in which these items are glued to a piece of cereal box. There is only a limited amount of prints to purchase.
