Chan had informed the hospital that the pack would be on their way. So it wasn’t too shocking when seven wolves came barreling down the hospital corridors all thankfully wearing scent patches to mask their presumably sour scents. Jisung enters the hospital room first, immediately rushing towards your bedside looking down at you with watery eyes. The rest of the pack follows Changbin and Hyunjin, who go for Chan first, wanting to check up on their pack alpha, while it’s Jeongin who enters last, his body shaky, clearly on edge, as he holds a bag close to his chest, almost as a shield.
“Is that?” Hyunjin whispers looking down at Chan’s bloodied hands and sweater. Your blood. The precious liquid that keeps you alive every day has been spilled all over Chan’s hands.
“I had her in my lap. I had to apply pressure until the paramedics came.” Chan whispers now looking at his own hands with a pained look as various sounds of shock and horror fill the room.
“You should go home for a bit, clean up. Maybe take a nap? If they don’t know when she’ll wake up we can take turns being here yeah? For both your sake and hers.” Minho speaks up, his mind already thinking of you waking up and seeing your own blood on your alpha and the distress that could cause you.
“Ah, I guess you’re right…” He knows you’d want him to take care of himself too.
“I’ll go with you.” Jeongin blurts out, drawing attention to him, allowing Chan to notice how small the younger alpha looks, almost broken. He looks to Changbin for answers but the alpha just shakes his head. Chan knew Jeongin would be upset, but he looked like a shell of himself. The pack alpha nearly whines, eager to fix this entire mess for everyone, but he knows Jeongin will be a good place to start.
“Alright. Let’s go.” Chan huffs. Jeongin places your bag on a chair near your hospital bed before quietly walking past leaving you with a gentle squeeze to your hand. Anything more, and he’s sure he’d break.
The car ride to the pack house is silent, yet something heavy hangs over both alphas louder than any noise they could make. As Jeongin parks the car in the driveway he lets out a deep sigh.
“You get cleaned up and I’ll just wait here, okay?”
“No.” Chan nearly whispers, causing Jeongin’s eyes to widen.
“What? What do you mean no?”
“Come inside with me?” The crack in the older alpha’s voice makes Jeongin’s head snap, and he looks to see Chan sitting across from him with watery eyes. He looks so scared. Chan is rarely scared, or at least he doesn’t show it.
The younger alpha takes in a shaky breath before getting out of the car, if his alpha needs him to be strong he can do that. Right?
The walk to the upstairs bathroom is long, just long enough for Chan to walk past your room and catch the way your sweet scent rests in the air. Jeongin is right there to catch him when he nearly collapses.
“Hyung. Come on, let's go get cleaned up and then you can go back to the hospital and see her. I won’t even force you to nap like Minho wants.” Jeongin whispers as he holds the older wolf up, practically carrying him to the bathroom.
“Join me?” Chan isn’t stupid, he’s hurt and his mind feels hazy but he knows Jeongin needs him just as much as he needs Jeongin.
“Get in the shower.” The younger alpha scoffs before beginning to unbuckle his own jeans.
As the warm water rains over the two of them, Chan immediately works to wash off his hands, a slight pink tinge runs down the drain that the two refuse to look at, they can only look at each other. With only the phantom feeling of your blood left on Chan’s hands, he finally takes Jeongin into his arms, running a wet hand through his mate’s hair.
“Tell me.”
“Hyung what the hell are you talking about?” Jeongin tries to lie, he really does and for a split second, he thinks it’s believable but Chan gives him that look, and suddenly all his walls collapse.
“I lost myself, Hyung. I was so scared of losing her that I just let my alpha clog my mind and I hurt our mates. I yelled at Jisung… fuck I even yelled at Seungie.” Jeongin doesn’t remember starting to cry so it's a shock to him when his breathing becomes uneven and his body shakes. Chan looks down at his youngest alpha mate, one of his mates that he will just always consider his baby.
Jeongin’s presentation as an alpha was rough, late presentations always are. So many built-up hormones and a body and a mind not equipped to deal with any of it, this wasn’t the first time Jeongin’s alpha had clouded over his usual sweet nature, and it probably won’t be the last.
“I can’t stop thinking, what if I never get better? What if one day I hurt Y/N? What if one day I hurt our pup?” Chan is so tired of the feeling of his heart shattering, this heavy sticky feeling in his chest that almost suffocates him. How could he let this happen to his pack?
“Jeongin. Look at me.” Chan uses a shaky thumb to wipe away the tears even if it doesn’t matter because they are both soaking wet, he doesn’t want to see Jeongin’s tears anymore.
“Have I ever once given up on you?” The younger alpha looks confused.
“No. You’d never give up on any of us.”
“Because I believe in you, I believe you are a strong and caring alpha who would do anything for any of us without even so much as a grumble. You love with your entire heart, not a single one of us doubts your love for us. I could scold you right now, and I should, but I know the second you get the chance you will make it up to Jisung and Seungmin, because that’s the kind of alpha you are. An alpha that I am proud to have in my pack.” Chan gives Jeongin a wet kiss on his forehead, and both alphas are crying now.
“There’s going to be an investigation I’m sure. I didn’t get all the details yet, the cop let me wait for you guys but, this isn’t over. She’s going to need you, she’ll need all of us… and we’ll need each other.” The older alpha’s voice is barely above a whisper but it’s firm. Things won’t be easy, at least not for a while and they all had to be ready for whatever comes next.
“We’re gonna be okay.” Jeongin whispers to no one in particular. Chan isn’t sure if it’s a statement or a question or who it’s for but those words sit heavy on his heart anyway.
It’s been nearly three days since the incident. The doctors keep telling the pack to hold out hope, that nothing major was damaged and you’d wake up any moment now but anxiety has been running high. The pack members decided to take shifts, to prevent anyone from neglecting themselves or burning out.
Seungmin and Changbin agreed to take today’s short afternoon shift so Jeongin and Jisung could have the longer evening shift tonight, they were both absolutely miserable yesterday so it was decided that they could stay with you longer today to hopefully help ease their nerves, and maybe they could talk things out in the process.
“Hyung, I’m going to go grab some food. Do you want anything?” The beta whispers sweetly to the alpha sitting on the chair next to him. Changbin knows he should eat, he barely touched his breakfast this morning, but it’s hard. All Changbin can think about is you. He gives in nonetheless, he’ll behave for his beta.
“Surprise me puppy.” Seungmin rolls his eyes before leaving both you and Changbin with soft kisses.
Changbin always found peace in the quiet moments, especially with his pack. He loves to be loud and light up rooms keeping those he loves in high spirits but he always thought that the soft mushy moments where everyone can just relax and be themselves were special. He just hates that right now he can’t hear you. You look so peaceful lying in the hospital bed, maybe this is the best sleep you’ve gotten in a while, and you just want to keep resting, and Changbin can’t help but think he’s selfish for wanting you to wake up. He knows how scared you’ll be, how the cops will need to speak to you, that all this trauma you had finally started to heal from would get dug up and he hates that for you, but god does he want his mate awake.
The doctors have been encouraging the pack to talk to you and scent you, just to make sure you know they’re there for you but Changbin felt bad crowding you. The alpha was always so scared of crossing a line or scaring you that even now holding your hand felt like too much, especially since you couldn’t pull away even if you wanted to. He isn’t sure what overcomes him but right now sitting next to your bed isn’t enough, nothing has been enough to bring you back to them, so call it alpha instincts but he needs to do more. He needs you. His eyes glance towards the door expecting someone to come interrupt him but nobody comes. So with quiet movements the alpha gets up and walks towards your bed before he ever so gently crawls up onto the bed. Luckily you aren’t connected to too many things so it’s easy not to mess anything up or hurt you anymore than you already are, he’d be destroyed if he ever hurt you. The alpha gently wraps his arms around your middle, placing his head as softly as possible right above your bump, so close his lips graze it as he speaks.
“You know I love you both so much right?” He whispers not expecting an answer, he’d almost forgotten how well the pup responds when they talk to her so when a soft kick is felt against his arm he nearly loses it. A stray tear slides down his cheek landing onto your hospital gown.
The alpha lies there for what feels like forever, listening to your breathing and feeling the pup kick. Seungmin should be back soon and Changbin knows the beta wouldn’t care that he’s in the bed with you, he’s just not quite ready for that conversation. As the alpha begins to move in an attempt to get off the bed without jostling you too much, he feels it. A hand moves behind him. No, it can’t be. Your touch is feather light and weak as it moves up to his head, almost as if it’s dark and you can’t find him. Changbin isn’t sure he’s ever been this still in his life, he feels as if he moves you’ll go back to sleep and maybe you really won’t wake this time.
“B-Binnie?” Your voice is hoarse, like there are rocks in your throat, but Changbin has never heard a sound so beautiful before. The alpha moves at a snail's pace to sit up afraid everything would come tumbling down with one wrong move.
“Bunny, you’re awake! Shhh don’t move, just… just lie there for a second I’ll go get someone.” Changbin moves to get up again but your soft hand finally gets a grip on him.
“I-I’m okay. Pup? Pack?” Changbin gives you a thoughtful smile, of course, you’re thinking of them.
“The little princess is safe and sound inside of you, barely
any fuss at all from her. Seungmin went to get some food, Jisung and Jeongin should be on their way here soon actually, everyone else is at home.” He coos, still unable to process that you even woke up. You give Changbin a weak smile and he thinks he just about melts, his alpha howling at him to care for you.
“I’ll go get someone now so they can get you all checked out okay?” You nod softly as the alpha reluctantly gets off the bed and leaves the room.
Changbin had a sigh of relief when he was able to get one of the doctors who had already been taking care of you these past few days, it’s a sweet middle-aged lady, she’d been so kind to the pack throughout all this so he trusted her to be the first to check on you now that you were awake.
“Well hello there sunshine.”
Of course things can never be that simple and sweet. You aren’t sure what overcomes you but you can’t bring yourself to respond to the woman. You look like a deer caught in headlights as the doctor approaches you steadily putting her gloves on. She doesn’t seem phased by your lack of response, Changbin already informed her that you were speaking and aware, and as an omega herself she can imagine the emotions running through your body, but it’s the growl that causes her to take a step back. As soon as the doctor places a gentle hand on your arm to check on your IV, you let out a weak growl. Not menacing at all, but a warning nonetheless.
“Bunny, what’s wrong?” Changbin’s eyebrows furrow as he approaches your bed once again. You make eye contact with the alpha and it’s like you’re silently trying to communicate with him, the overwhelm clear in your eyes and the whimper that leaves your throat next.
“Y/N, sweetie we have to check on you and the pup yeah? The sooner we do this all the sooner we can get you home.” The doctor speaks again, her voice is as sweet as honey but something about it just triggers you.
“Alpha…” your whimper tears Changbin apart. He immediately takes your hand in his trying desperately to soothe whatever was happening in your head but it doesn’t work, tears start brimming in your eyes as you move to curl up on the bed, back facing the doctor who just wants to help. You know that, but a part of you can’t accept that fact. You can hear the two exchanging words but you can’t comprehend them. You think you can smell the doctor’s scent fading, maybe she left. Before you can dwell on what you’ve done the next thing you know you’re hit by the smell of warm cotton, like a fresh load of laundry straight from the dryer. Seungmin rushes to place the bags of food on a table before moving closer to you two.
“Why didn’t you call me? Did you call Chan? Anyone?” Seungmin’s voice is just as smooth as you remember it, it almost grounds you, almost.
“Actually I need you to call someone. She won’t let the doctor come near her… and I can’t even get her to relax.” Changbin’s voice has a pleading edge to it, something that says he's sorry but right now he can’t fix this and they need to get someone who can.
“You don’t think? After how he’s behaved?” The beta whispers.
“How many times has she been able to settle him? Their bond… It's special. I believe in him.” Seungmin’s eyes widen before he nods, if there’s anyone who can settle you right now it’s him.
Seungmin leaves to make the important phone call before coming back into the hospital room. The beta slowly and calmly stalks over to your bed, his soothing scent getting stronger and stronger.
“Alpha.” You whimper again subconsciously at this point.
“I know, I know, this must be so scary for you puppy.” He runs a soft hand over your arm, trying to use a mix of touch and beta pheromones to settle you, at least until a certain someone gets here.
Fifteen minutes. It takes fifteen minutes for Jeongin, Jisung, and Chan to come rushing through the door to your hospital room. The smells hit you first, the sweet chocolate, the salty ocean, the earthy rain, some of your favorite scents in the world here just for you.
The three wolves freeze as soon as their eyes land on you, curled up in the hospital bed, but awake. You woke up for them, you fought and you won just like you always had. Chan looks between your form and Seungmin and Changbin standing next to your bed, silent words are exchanged through these looks before he gently squeezes Jeongin’s arm, a subtle nudge to the baby alpha.
Jeongin shakes his head, there’s no time to be shocked or scared, you need him. The alpha follows a snail’s pace as he walks over to your bed, his hand moves to hover over you, he’s afraid that if he touches you you’ll break, he never wants to see you broken again.
“Princess,” he whispers and your head immediately turns to look up at him as you whimper.
“Oh princess it’s okay, I’m here, we’re here! Nobody can ever hurt you again. I won't allow it.” Now the alpha is the one crying as he leans over your hospital bed, everything in him screaming at him to just pick you up and take you home where he can hold you in the den away from stray hands and unforgiving eyes. He can’t though. He knows that, but it doesn’t hurt him any less.
“What does my princess need? How can Alpha make this easier for you?” Jeongin’s heart aches when you look up at him with big wet eyes.
“Stay,” you whisper and all of the wolves exchange looks, Chan slips out of the room silently.
“Of course, I won’t leave your side unless you ask me to! That goes for any of us okay? If I stay right here will you let the doctor check on you? We just wanna get you home Princess.” The alpha’s smile is just as sweet as it always is as he looks down at you, he watches the gears turn as you consult your inner omega on what to do.
“Okay.” You hum just in time for Chan to come back with the same sweet doctor from before.
“I think we’re ready to try again, yeah? Let’s get you sitting up.” The doctor’s voice is calm and easy on your ears, you’re more receptive this time as she walks up to your bed pressing a button to elevate the bed as Jeongin helps you gently sit up.
“I’m Doctor Choi, I’ve been taking care of you for most of your stay these past few days. I’d like to do some small tests just to make sure everything is as it should be, okay? I will walk you through every step.” The doctor’s smile is warm, it reminds you of what you’d always dreamed your mother’s smile would be like. Your mother… that’s why you’re here. You look towards Jeongin who gives you a reassuring nod, one that says you can trust this doctor. You nod.
“Alright, are you in any pain?”
“My throat, dry.” You whisper.
“Is she allowed to have water?” Jeongin’s voice is soft but you can hear the edge to it.
“That happens when you haven’t talked in a few days, of course you can have some water.” Seungmin was already gripping his bottle of water ready to hand it off to you as soon as the doctor said you could have it. Jeongin helps you take small sips from the water bottle, his hand soft under your chin as you allow the cool liquid to soothe your aching throat.
“Anything else?”
“My neck…” You can smell how your packmates’ scents sour for a moment before they reel them in, but Jisung’s remains spoiled for longer than you’d like.
“That’s understandable, you needed quite a few stitches. But with help from your mates, you should heal quickly. Now, I’m going to need to touch you to test your reflexes and make sure there was no nerve damage. It won’t take long, I promise.” The doctor moves to the end of the bed and runs a soft gloved hand down your leg to your toes causing you to flinch. Jeongin immediately places a firm hand on your cheek ever so gently, pulling your face towards him and away from the doctor.
“I’m right here princess, just focus on me.” The alpha releases more of his calming pheromones to help settle you.
“That’s good, it means you can feel your legs.” The doctor laughs softly but you just huff. You want to go home.
“With that said, do you think you’d be up to trying to walk? If you can pass that, I don’t see any reason to keep you here past tomorrow unless something else comes up.” You can’t lie, you’re scared not because you think you can’t walk right now but what if you can’t? You look at your packmates and you see the hopeful smiles on their faces, you can’t disappoint them, not anymore.
“Don’t push yourself baby, if you want to try you can try but only do what you think you can manage. There’s no rush.” It’s Chan who speaks up, he believes in you but he doesn’t want to overwhelm you, not right now.
“I want to try.” You nod towards the doctor and she smiles.
“I can help you or you can have one of your mates help you and I’ll supervise and watch for any complications.” Your eyes drift towards your pack alpha and his eyes widen.
“Chan. I want Chan to help me.”
You expect Jeongin’s scent to sour but you swear it almost deepens a bit, a clear sign of him feeling pleased with the situation. The younger alpha helps you sit up more on the bed so you can move your legs to the side as Chan walks over to that side. Under the watchful eye of Doctor Choi, Chan places both hands on your waist allowing you to wrap your arms around his neck.
“Be careful, okay? Like I said before, there's no rush, I’d wait forever for you.” Chan’s smile widens as he helps you stand up off the bed. You want to take a step but you freeze for a moment. Three days in bed doesn’t seem that long, you were sure this would be as if nothing had even happened but your legs already feel a little buttery. A proactive sense of disappointment creeps up in your chest, causing your scent to sour.
“Take your time, or we can stop. Whatever you need.” He coos and you shake your head.
“No. Just need a second.” You whisper into his chest. After a few moments of heavy silence, you take your first step and with the assistance of Chan, whom you’ve now loosened your grip on, you take a few more.
“That’s good! Do you think you can take some on your own? You can try walking to Mr. Seo over there.” Your heart does a flip hearing this doctor who is a complete stranger to you seem so proud of you just taking some steps. You look up at Chan and then towards Changbin who is maybe six feet away from you, you can do that right? You nod softly signaling for Chan to let you go as you take the first hesitant step on your own. It takes you a couple of steps to find your footing but you walk over to Changbin with no issue, your legs already feeling much more stable. The alpha immediately pulls you into his embrace.
“Oh, that’s my big strong girl!” He cheers as he places a soft kiss on your forehead. The alpha follows closely behind you as you walk back to where Chan is waiting to help you back up into the bed.
“You really exceeded my expectations, great job! So we’ll keep you overnight for monitoring just to be completely safe and if everything remains the same you should be good to go home before tomorrow evening. Obviously you’ll need to be mindful and get some rest, especially while your stitches heal, but we can discuss that before discharge time.” Doctor Choi smiles one more time before leaving you alone with your pack again.
“God, I’m so proud of you.” Jeongin gives you a sweet kiss as he coos at you.
As you all sit in the hospital room allowing the wolves to smother you in their scents and affections seemingly ignoring the elephant in the room you can’t help but notice a lingering tension that doesn’t feel all that related to what happened to you. You can’t bring yourself to ruin their moods after they waited days for you to wake up but you're hyper aware of how little Jisung and Jeongin are interacting with each other. Neither of them seems to be in a bad mood but there’s definitely something there.
As the day turns closer to evening Chan gathers up Seungmin and Changbin telling them to say their goodbyes, allowing Jeongin and Jisung to keep their original post for the night shift with you tonight. This only leaves you more confused but you don’t question Chan, or any of them for that matter, at least not yet. A soft whimper leaves your chest as it’s Chan’s turn to say goodnight to you. The alpha leans over your bed holding you close to his chest, you’re not ready to say goodbye to him but you also aren’t ready to confront what happened at that mall, so maybe it’s for the best.
“Don’t be like that baby, Ji and Innie are gonna take such good care of you. I’m going to make sure everything at home is ready for you and then I’ll come get you tomorrow.” You pout up at the alpha.
“You really think I’ll get to go home tomorrow?”
“You’re my strong girl, of course you will.” He smiles giving you your last two kisses, one to your lips and one to your bump before he gives the other two their kisses as well and leaves the hospital room hopefully for the last time without you.
Jeongin makes sure you’re settled before he shuts off the light, allowing the soft moonlight from the large hospital window to dimly light the room so you can rest in peace. The alpha notices Jisung hovering near your bed so he makes himself comfortable in the chair on the other side of the room watching you two carefully.
“You know I heard a rumor that omega cuddles are the best medicine.” You give Jisung a playful side eye as you scoot yourself closer to the middle of the bed so he can crawl in next to you. The omega lets out a breathy, almost awkward laugh before his eyes dart towards Jeongin. The two lock eyes before Jisung’s scent sours again.
“Okay, what could have possibly happened while I was knocked out? My neck is what’s hurt, not my brain. I know something is up.” You frown seeing both your mates refusing to look at you.
“You shouldn’t worry about any of this right now, you need to rest.” Jisung speaks up as he walks towards your bed ready to push this aside for tonight and help you feel better instead. Jeongin seems to wrestle with his thoughts for a moment before he stands up.
“I hurt our mates.” the alpha blurts out, the air suddenly feels so much heavier. Your mind races thinking what he means by that.
“Jeongin!” Jisung gasps. On the car ride here Chan made the two of them promise to behave around you and not give away that something was up. You shouldn't have to worry about this right now.
“No. I royally messed up and I need to apologize to you all, so I’ll start here with you and our Luna.” Jeongin grips the edge of your bed as he lowers himself into a submissive bow over your bed.
“I love every member of this pack in ways that make me feel insane. Ever since I presented as an alpha I’ve felt like my wolf is trying to claw its way out of my body. I trust Chan and the other alphas to protect our pack but I can’t shake this intense urge to protect you all. When Changbin brought you into the house that night I actually wasn’t asleep in my room. I was awake waiting for everyone else to go to sleep so I could keep guard of the house.” Both Jisung and you share wide-eyed looks at his confession and the alpha cringes.
“Yes, I did that every night. I had to… I had to keep my pack safe. I was aware of every smell, every noise, every change in emotion no matter how small. So when you entered our home I smelled you immediately, I almost ran downstairs and scooped you up into my arms but I smelled your scent getting closer, I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, you were staying. I slept like a baby that night.” Tears brimmed in his eyes.
“I think subconsciously my wolf was waiting for you. We all knew we had another mate but my instincts were so intense the waiting was causing me pain.”
“Why didn’t you tell us any of that? We could have helped you.” Jisung’s voice holds a twinge of pain. The omega feels so deeply, the idea of his youngest packmate suffering like that makes him forget why he was even mad in the first place.
“I wanted to prove to you all that I’m a strong and capable alpha. I had to be that for you. I didn’t need you guys to worry about me.”
“Strong alphas communicate with their pack. That’s what Chan does.” Jisung whispers, his pain over the situation seeping into his words.
“Jeongin what did you do?” The look you give the alpha makes his stomach flip. He thinks maybe he should have just stayed quiet, because what if he’s truly ruined everything?
“I yelled at Seungmin and Jisung.” he swallows the lump in his throat. “No. I screamed at them, I got in their face. I was nasty. Chan hadn’t called us to tell us what happened but we could feel you both through the bond. Knowing something was wrong but not knowing what threw me off completely. Losing my mate is my worst fear, that goes for any of you guys. But faced with that possibility staring me in the face I acted out of line. I let them down when they needed me most.” Tears freely fall from Jeongin’s fox-like eyes now. Your face falls. You can’t imagine Jeongin doing such a thing doesn’t even sound right in your mind. That’s just not like him at all. You know he struggles with his instincts, but it usually manifests in ways against others, not his own pack. You think for a moment maybe this is a prank but the look on Jisung’s face tells you it’s all too real.
“Jeongin… I just can’t believe you’d do that.” You can’t help the protective wave that rises in your chest. Before anything, you’re an omega. You adore Jeongin, but hurting your omega and beta won’t be tolerated.
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry it makes me sick. If you want me exiled from the pack that would be your right to do so, I deserve it.”
“If we kick you out, who will eat all of Minho’s leftovers we don’t want?” Your heads snap towards the door to find Seungmin standing in the doorway with red eyes he had clearly wiped away tears from.
“Seungmin?” you whisper in confusion, you thought he had left with Chan and Changbin.
“Chan forgot to bring up the fresh blanket the pack scented for you, so I offered to run it up real quick. I didn’t expect that I was being left out of the greatest pack apology to date.” he huffs teasingly but it’s clear he’s emotional over this. Someone from outside of their pack wouldn’t consider Seungmin to be someone who gets emotional or feels things deeply as say, Jisung does. He's playful, a bit of a menace at times but there’s nothing on this earth he cares about the way he cares about his pack. He’s the perfect beta, calm and collected while also deeply in tune with his emotions and the emotions of his beloved packmates.
“Hyung, I'm so sorry.” Jeongin’s voice is pitiful, you can almost hear everyone’s hearts breaking hearing their alpha plead like this.
“I forgive you.” Seungmin says as if it is obvious. Sure he was hurt by Jeongin, but he cared more about getting to the bottom of why he behaved that way. Jeongin may be a big alpha now but that will always be his pup.
“No. I have to earn that. I hurt you!”
“And you will. When you give up some of your Y/N time to me while you do my chores for the next week.” There’s your Seungmin. Devilishly handsome, and just plain devilish when he feels like it. Jeongin’s eyes widen, he’s in awe not only by how much he’s lucked out with his mates but by how sly Kim Seungmin is.
“Whatever you want, it’s yours. Both of you.”
“I guess I could forgive you too if you spare me some of your Y/N time as well. I need cuddles from my Luna.” Jisung lets out a sniffly giggle that makes your heart flip.
“I will personally see to it that you both get maximum cuddles when I get home.” You giggle softly as you feel the pack bond settle as their emotions become less intense.
The thought of what’s to come gnaws at you like an annoying little bug in your head but for now, your pack is all that matters. This is what you’ve chosen for yourself. It’s all yours and nobody can take that from you.

It’s all yours and nobody can take that from you.

previous chapter // next chapter
A soft whimper leaves your lips as you sit in the plush rocking chair your mates had insisted you get for the nursery. Watching your alphas building furniture for your pup’s nursery makes your omega purr. Chan and Changbin may bicker over instructions and hammer techniques but they don’t complain once. In fact, they wanted to do this for you so badly that it turned into a whole argument for a solid week. Both alphas fought over who would build the crib as if it were the highest honor, and to them it is. The gesture is so domestic that it made their alphas howl at the mere thought of it and it didn’t help that neither of them thought the other could build it better. Safe to say that argument ended quickly when Seungmin let out a groan about how they can just share the project, they’d both suck at it anyway. This lit a fire under their asses, both alphas now determined to give you the best nursery with the most well put together furniture any omega and pup have ever seen. So of course you ruin it. They’ve told you a million times now that they will do anything you say, but you can’t help how your nerves light up. Being difficult is your worst nightmare, and it seems these days you know only how to be difficult.
Like when Minho had to make you a separate dinner because halfway through his cooking your body decided any type of noodles sounded about as good as eating worms. He was so sweet about it though, you squirm slightly at how soft his reaction was.
Minho had sensed that something was on your mind before you were even at his side. His head turned to look at you with a soft smile as he continued to stir the pot of what would usually be his delicious ramyum.
“What’s wrong jagiya?” A concerned pout crosses his face.
“Min, I can’t eat that.” The words came out as a whisper, further muffled by the way you rest your forehead on his bicep in shame. He immediately placed the spoon down to rest before giving you his full attention. Strong arms encase you, pulling you into a calming hug.
“That’s okay, what does my kitten want?” Your eyes widened when you looked up at the alpha.
“Oh, um, whatever you can make easily without noodles will be fine.” Minho let out a breathy laugh at how adorable you can be when you get like this.
“How about, I take the leftover ramyun toppings and put them over some rice instead? I can also make whatever you want, just say the word.” Your omega subconsciously purred at the feeling of the alpha taking care of you
“Rice is good, thank you, Min.” The alpha gave you a gentle squeeze before placing a soothing kiss on your forehead.
“Anything for you, kitten.”
Or like when Seungmin had upset you, completely by accident. You know the beta is just a big puppy, he’s a sweetheart but he’s got a bite. The kind of bite that never actually hurts, at least it shouldn’t, but your hormones can’t tell the difference between your Seungminnie’s well-intentioned way of conveying things bluntly and an actual insult. You don’t know if you’ll ever forgive yourself for how bad Seungmin felt.
“Puppy you’ve been on the couch all morning, you don’t wanna go rest? Felix just went to take a nap in the den. Maybe you should join him.” Bless Seungmin’s heart. The beta had become increasingly concerned with how much rest you got as the pregnancy progressed further. He notices small details most would miss, he sees how tired you get, and he knows what parts of your body ache that day. So Seungmin meant well when he asked if you wanted to go take a nap in the nest. Of course, that sounds too good to die for, but your hormones override that thought. Your omega cried in rejection.
Beta doesn’t want us here.
“You want me to go?” Seungmin’s eyes nearly shot out of his head when he saw how your face contorted, fat tears brimming in your usually bright eyes. The beta rushed into action immediately, tugging you into his arms and holding your head against his chest ignoring the feeling of your tears dampening his shirt.
“Hey, hey, none of that. That’s not what I mean, I just want to make sure you get some rest. Growing a whole pup is hard, you deserve a nice nest and some cuddles. I’m sorry that I made you think I was rejecting you. I would never reject you.” He doesn’t push, he doesn’t complain, he just waits. A gentle hand smooths over the back of your head as he waits for you to settle.
“I’m sorry, I’m just easily upset these days.” You pulled away from him, looking up at him through damp eyelashes. He hesitated for only a moment before raising his hand to cup your cheek using his thumb to wipe away your stray tears.
“It’s okay puppy, why don’t we both go join Felix?” You nod softly with a cute sniffle that almost makes Seungmin purr.
So now as you watch Changbin and Chan move furniture around the nursery, you feel a need to bite your tongue even though the mere thought of that dresser being in that spot makes you feel ill. As fate would have it hiding from your mates isn’t an option, Felix immediately sits up placing a soft hand on your thigh.
“Sunshine, what needs to move?” He reads you so well that it almost makes your head spin.
“Ugh, it’s the dresser.” You groan, running your hands over your face.
“So we’ll move it, no big deal.” Changbin flexes his muscles playfully, trying his best to ease your nerves.
“Don’t wanna be difficult. You’ve already moved it three times now.” Your sigh makes Chan itch as it settles in his ears.
“You’re not being difficult. It’s your pup’s nursery, every little thing is going to be to your liking if it’s the last thing I do as your alpha.” Your eyes widen for a moment before Felix squeezes your thigh.
“See, your big strong alphas want you to have the perfect nursery, so let them!” Felix’s words strike a chord with you. You have to let them, they have proven time and time again how much they want to do everything for you, you just have to let them. So you take a deep breath.
“Okay. Can we put the dresser against that wall instead? I want it closer to the closet.” Something roars inside of Chan at the sight of you conveying your wants so confidently now. Both alphas move the dresser without even so much as a huff, in fact, to them moving this dresser feels like something special they can do for you so they could never complain.
With the final piece of furniture in place they allow the entire room to rest under your gaze. It’s hard not to imagine the future of this room. All the books that would be read, all the diapers you’d all change, and memories you’ll make. Your mind wanders to your own memories. Your childhood, from
the moment you gained consciousness with stars in your eyes and a heart full of sunshine. One thing sticks out in your mind, a faint melody… your music box. God you couldn’t be separated from that thing, the soft song became your anchor when things got too scary for your little pup mind. You will do everything in your power to make sure your pup is never scared like you were, but what if?
“She needs a music box.” Your whisper is barely audible, which only makes your packmates tilt their heads more.
“A music box? That’s a beautiful idea.” Felix beams up at you from the floor, barely questioning where this idea has come from.
“When I was a pup, I had a music box. I loved it, and so they took it from me.” The way your voice wavers makes the packmates shiver. Chan is the first to act, walking over to where you sit in the rocking chair, crouching down to your level with a warm hand on your own.
“Yeah? So we’ll get our princess a music box, no worries.” His voice is arguably more comforting than most people would think it’d need to be, but for you it’s everything.
“There’s that antique store in the mall that Hyunjin loves, why don’t you check there?” Changbin speaks up, his voice as sweet as honey and dripping with pride at his suggestion.
“That’s an amazing idea Bin! Sweetheart, you want to do that? We can go today, just you and me, it’ll be a little date.” The pack alpha’s crimson blush has you stifling a laugh.
“I’d love that.” You smile fondly.
Chan keeps his arm firmly placed on the small of your back as you both walk through the mall later that day. You’ve gotten better at going out in public but Chan still wants you to know he’s got you, no matter what. The alpha almost howls when your sweet cherry scent spikes as you notice the antique shop coming into view. This clearly means a lot to you and he’s just happy he gets to give this to you. He wants more of these moments, more of your excitement, more of you just being an omega, his omega.
As you both get closer to the store you notice a large sign slapped on the window.
‘Omega only shopping hours from 2pm-4pm.’
Well, that explains the security guard placed firmly at the door. You look up at Chan with a shaky pout. The alpha almost growls, his hand reaches up to your face to comfort you. He’s ready to tell you that you can come back another time or just wait, maybe grab some food, but your mouth moves before he can even try it.
“I can go by myself.” Your mate’s eyes almost bulge out of his head, his plush lips falling open slightly before closing once again.
“Are you sure sweetheart? You don’t have to, we can wait it out. Oh, you’ve been craving boba recently! Why don’t we go grab some?” Even he doesn’t sound convinced by his words. Your voice was too confident. He knows an omega set on something when he sees one, he’s quite familiar with how this scenario plays out with Felix and Jisung. His omega wants this, and as your alpha, he can’t deny you your moment.
“I’ll be okay! I’ll go in, find a music box, and come back out. Then we can get that boba!” There’s something different in the smile that rests on your features. It’s reassuring. It reminds Chan how far you’ve come. It also tells him, you will be getting that boba later. The alpha pulls you tightly into his arms.
“Okay, okay. If you need anything you have your phone and I'll be sitting right out here okay?” You give the alpha a quick kiss before padding over to the antique store you’ve heard Hyunjin rave about so many times.
The store feels safe. A tall omega guards the door, the lights are dimmed, and the only things you smell are omegas and the rich smells of wood and old fabric. Your thoughts are broken by the store worker greeting you.
“Welcome in! Anything I can help you find?” Her smile is soft, and she seems kind. Everything about her is soft, like a flower. Is it weird to think that much about her? Do people think this much about you? You know they used to.
“Hi. I, um, I’m looking for a music box.” The worker doesn’t seem to even bat an eyelash at how awkward your statement comes out, that’s comforting.
“Oh, we have a bunch! Follow me.” You follow the worker to a back corner of the store, tucked away behind aisles of unique items.
“They’re all on this shelf, I’ll be upfront if you need me.” The worker smiles again before leaving you be.
She wasn’t wrong, there are quite a few music boxes but your eyes are immediately drawn to a dark wooden one with stars carved into it. Your fingers hover over the music box for a moment, hesitant, before you open it. The inside is even more gorgeous. Your fingers graze over an intricate carving of a sun that rests under the lid. A song begins to play.
Images of your childhood flash in your head. It’s the song. Your song. Without much thought you hastily shut the music box, letting out of a breath you didn’t know you were holding. You know this is the one, this is your daughter’s music box.
The smell hits you all at once. All you want to do is grab the music box and go check out, get back to your alpha, but this smell freezes you deep to your core. The smell of lavender is a more common omega scent, it’s usually sweet and calming but this one is strong. It’s the kind of smell that suffocates you until all the air leaves your lungs leaving you still as stone.
So when claws dig themselves into the back of your neck you can’t even flinch.
“Y/N.” The sickly lavender scent, that deep tight voice, it’s your mother.
“What do you want?” You whimper as she just digs her claws deeper into your neck. You can feel your own blood slowly trickling down your back. Will Minho be mad that you got blood on one of his favorite sweaters? Maybe you won’t even make it to find out. No. You can’t think like that, your pack needs you. You’re Luna now, they need their Luna. They love you and you love them, you all love your pup. Your pup…
“You run away from your alpha, leaving such a disgusting stain on our family name and that’s all you have to say to me you brat?” Your chest feels tighter. Felix’s words play over in your head.
“I never had to stay with that alpha. I’m my own person.” You swallow, trying your best to be strong, but it’s so hard when the claws only get deeper. They almost feel deeper than the metaphorical claws she had on you most of your life.
Pup. Pup. Protect pup. Need alpha.
Your omega sobs so loudly that your head begins to hurt.
“Last I checked you carry our last name. I birthed you. I raised you better than this, you used to be such a beautiful flower Y/N how could you do this to me?” Your mother uses her grip on your neck to pull your face closer to hers, her words feel like venom as she spits them into your face. Suddenly it feels like you’re thirteen again, and nothing you do is good enough. Years of feeling like a broken omega replay in your head like a depressing film you’ll never be able to turn off.
“Mom please. You’re hurting me, you’ll hurt the pup.” Finding your voice is difficult, maybe you aren’t as strong as Chan thinks you are. How can you stand up to the women who gave you life and spent years raising you? Your mother surely knows best, she knows you, she loves you. Right?
“You think I care about this bastard pup? You betrayed that strong alpha me and your father found for you, do you really think you deserve to bear his pup and destroy his family name too?” A choked sob rips from your lips.
“Please stop!” You cry, a sad part of you deep down thinks maybe you can get her to listen, maybe change her mind, fix her. This part of you that will always just want your mommy.
“Shut up! I’m taking you home, this little game of yours is over!” She spits as you sob harder. You can’t go back there. All of your hard work can’t be ripped away from you like this. You have your pack now, you have to go home to them.
Alpha! Need alpha!
Outside of the antique store a wave of nausea comes over Chan, one he’s sickeningly familiar with. The alpha’s eyes squeeze shut as he tries to pinpoint which of his mates is so upset but nothing could prepare him for the way the color drains from his entire body once he feels that it’s you. As a pack alpha Chan is fast. He’s the quickest of his pack, good at maneuvering, which he’s never been more grateful for than now. The alpha jumps out of his seat and makes a dash for the antique shop. He’s more like a bull in a china shop as he pushes past the security guard ignoring the shouts from various employees that he’s not allowed in there. His ears ring, his mind completely focused on your call coming from the bond. Your spoiled cherry scent leads him to the back of the store, he just wanted to be relieved to find you but the sight in front of him makes him dizzy instead.
Protect mate! Protect pup!
His alpha forces a powerful alpha growl to rumble in his chest. The kind that would make any omega tremble, but you’ve never been happier to hear it. Things are a little hazy now but you know your alpha is here, you can almost rest.
Your mother may be evil incarnate, but against all odds, she is still an omega. The growl causes her to rip her claws from your neck to try and get away. In her haste, she scratches down your back causing you to let out a blood-curdling scream before falling to the ground in agony. Your arms immediately grip your stomach trying to use the last of your strength to protect your pup from the fall.
Chan sees red. Within seconds he’s lunging at your mother with no remorse.
“Who the hell do you think you are?” The alpha growls deeply as he slams your mother into the ground subsequently knocking her out. Rage nearly eats him alive but he refuses to stoop to this omega’s level, and more than anything you need him.
The store employees watch in horror as Chan tosses your mother to the side to bring his focus back to you. The alpha scoops you up in his arms fresh tears blooming in his eyes as he comes down from his more feral state. One large hand rests on the back of your neck in a desperate attempt to slow the bleeding while his other hand cradles your cheek pushing away the strands of hair that stick to your face.
“It’s okay baby, you’re okay, alpha’s got you.” He coos as his eyes scan over you checking for any other injuries.
“Channie.” You croak out as things start to feel heavier.
“Hey! You’re okay just breathe, think about your pup. Can you feel your pup?” He takes a deep breath before looking up at the employees, anger brewing deeper into his veins. “What are you people doing? Call a fucking ambulance!” He demands, his voice nearly shaking the store with the sheer force of it.
A soft hand gripping his arm snaps him out of his panic-induced rage. His head immediately snaps down to you. He’s never seen you look this small, even when you were starved and bruised that first night he met you, you still seemed bigger than the whole sky to him.
“Channie I love you.” You whimper as you try to curl closer to the alpha. For once in your life, you’re not scared anymore. You have your alpha here to protect you. It’s a bit of a mess in your head but you can feel your pack crying out for you, that’s all that matters. Chan is right, they’ve got you now. So maybe you can rest, your eyes have never felt quite this heavy before.
“No. No no no! Stay awake for me sweetheart, help is gonna come and you’re gonna get all patched up!” His phone won’t stop ringing. It’s the pack no doubt about it, they can feel the absolute terror and pain emitting from both of your sides of the bond, god Chan can’t even think about how panicked they must be but of course, he can feel it from them, it’s just cruel. They’re just as scared as Chan and they’re not even here. How could he possibly face them? “You hear my phone ringing? I’m sure it’s Jisung, he’s probably so worried about you, you gotta stay awake for him!” He pleads to you or maybe to anyone that would listen, anyone that could keep you safe. Because apparently he can’t.
He’s never felt more useless in his life. As your alpha, his sole purpose in life is to protect his pack and if he can’t even manage to do that during a trip to the mall, he’s failed you.
The last thing you hear is Chan’s devastating sobs before your vision begins to fade.

The bedroom door barely clicks shut before Changbin’s hands are on your shoulders, steering you backward toward the bed. His mouth finds your neck, hot and insistent, before he pulls back just enough to look at you.
“Been thinking about this all fucking night,” he murmurs, dark eyes catching the dim light from the hallway. His fingers work the button of his dress shirt, impatient, and you watch the fabric part to reveal the muscle beneath—chest, shoulders, that body that makes your mouth water. “All those people. Your family. My family. And all I could think about was getting you alone.”
You push him back until his knees hit the mattress. He sits, looking up at you with that grin—the one that says he knows exactly what’s coming and he’s been waiting for it since the candles were lit on his cake.
“Then let me give you your birthday present, big boy.”
Your knees find the floor before he can argue. The carpet is soft beneath you, and the position feels right, feels like where you’ve wanted to be all evening. His belt buckle is cool against your fingers, the leather stiff, and you work it open with practiced ease. The sound of it sliding free makes his stomach tense.
“Fuck,” he breathes, and you haven’t even touched him yet.
His pants come next, button and zipper, and you hook your fingers into the waistband of his boxer briefs. The cotton is black, stretched taut over the shape of him underneath, and when you pull everything down his cock springs free—already hard, already slick at the tip, curving up toward his belly.
Changbin’s cock is perfect. Thick enough to stretch your jaw, long enough to hit the back of your throat, with a vein running along the underside that you’ve traced with your tongue more times than you can count. The head is flushed, darker than the rest of him, and the bead of pre-cum gathered at the slit catches the light like something precious.
“You gonna stare at it all night or—“
You cut him off by wrapping your lips around the head.
His words dissolve into a groan, low and wrecked, and his hips jerk up before he can stop himself. You let him, taking him deeper, letting the weight of him settle on your tongue. The taste is salt and skin, and your mouth floods with saliva almost immediately.
“Oh, fuck, baby.” His hand finds the back of your head, fingers threading through your hair. “Your fucking mouth.”
You hollow your cheeks and pull back, slow, letting him feel every ridge of your palate, every millimeter of suction. When you reach the tip you swirl your tongue around it, lapping at the slit, tasting the bitter pre-cum that’s already leaking steadily. Then you sink back down, and this time you don’t stop until he nudges the entrance of your throat.
Changbin’s head falls back. His fingers tighten in your hair.
“That’s it. That’s fucking it.”
Spit is already gathering at the corners of your mouth, slicking his shaft, making the slide easier. You work him with one hand at the base, twisting on the upstroke, and your other hand cups his balls—heavy and tight, drawn up close to his body. They’re warm in your palm, the skin soft and loose, and when you gently roll them between your fingers he makes a sound you’ve never heard before. Something between a whimper and a curse.
“Christ. Christ.”
You pull off just long enough to catch your breath, a string of saliva connecting your bottom lip to his cock. “Like that?”
“You know I fucking like that.” His voice is ragged. His chest is flushed, color creeping up from his collar. “Don’t stop.”
You take him back into your mouth and you make it messy. Spit runs down his shaft, drips onto his balls, pools at the base where your hand is working what you can’t fit.
“Oh, fuck yeah.” His head drops back against the mattress. “Yeah, get me fucking soaked.”
The sounds are obscene—wet and slick and loud in the quiet bedroom—and you lean into them, let them fill the space between his heavy breathing and the creak of the mattress when he shifts his weight.
“Look at you,” he mutters, and when you glance up his eyes are fixed on your face. On your stretched lips. On the shine of spit smeared across your chin. “So fucking pretty with my cock in your mouth.”
You moan around him, and the vibration makes his hips buck.
“Yeah. Yeah, you like that.” His hand is still in your hair, and now he uses it—guides you down, holds you there, lets you feel the thickness of him filling your throat. Your eyes water. Your jaw aches. And you love it. You love the weight of him, the taste, the way his composure is crumbling with every stroke of your tongue.
Your free hand drops lower, past his balls, and your fingers graze the spot behind them. He twitches and swears, and his thighs tense on either side of your head.
“Fuck, you’re nasty tonight.”
You would smile if your mouth weren’t full. Instead you double down—bob your head faster, spit pooling and dripping, your hand twisting and stroking and your mouth working the top half of his cock while your spit slicks everything. His balls. Your fingers. The inside of his thighs where you’re braced.
“Baby.” His voice cracks. “Baby, I’m gonna—if you keep—“
You don’t let up. You hollow your cheeks and suck hard, your tongue pressing flat against that vein, your hand cupping his balls and squeezing just enough. His whole body goes rigid.
“Fuck, stop. Stop.”
You pull off immediately, a trail of spit snapping, and look up at him. His eyes are wild, his chest heaving, his cock slick and shiny and twitching against his stomach. He looks absolutely wrecked.
“Not yet,” he pants. “Not like this. I need to fuck you.”
He’s on his feet before you can respond, pulling you up, spinning you around. Your dress is still on—a little black thing you’d picked out specifically because it made his eyes go dark when you walked out of the bedroom hours ago—and he rucks it up around your hips with hands that aren’t gentle.
“Bend over. On the bed. Now.”
The mattress meets your palms, your knees. The sheets are cool and white and already rumpled from where he was sitting. Behind you, Changbin goes still.
So still.
“What,” he says, and his voice has dropped into something reverent. “What the fuck.”
His fingers find the base of the plug. The one you’d slipped in hours ago, before dinner, before the restaurant, before you’d sat across from his mother and made small talk about your job while wearing a silicone plug in your ass. It’s a small thing, jeweled at the base, and he traces around it with his thumb.
“You’ve been wearing this all night?”
“Happy birthday, baby.”
His groan is guttural. His hands are on your ass, spreading you open, and you feel his cock nudge against your thigh—harder than before, impossibly, like the sight of that plug has sent him into a different gear.
“You’re fucking unbelievable.” He taps the base of the plug, just lightly, and the vibration makes you clench. “Sitting there. Looking all innocent. Talking to my dad about fuck all. And you had this inside you the whole time.”
“Wanted to be ready for you.”
“Ready.” He laughs, but it’s breathless. “You’re gonna fucking kill me.”
He grips the plug and twists it, slow, and your arms nearly give out. The stretch is familiar but sharp, a reminder that it’s there, that you’ve been full all evening without anyone knowing. He pulls it out just enough to make you gasp, then pushes it back in.
“Bin,” you moan out.
“Fuck.” He pulls the plug out completely—slow, so slow, and you feel every ridge, every millimeter of silicone dragging against that sensitive ring of muscle—and sets it aside.
His thumb presses against you, slick with lube from the plug, and circles once before pushing inside. “Gotta make sure you’re ready,” he mutters, and you can hear the strain in his voice. “Gotta—fuck, you’re so fucking perfect, baby.”
His thumb slides out, and then two fingers are pressing in, and your forehead drops to the mattress. Your back arches. Your hips push back against his hand, greedy, and the word “please” slips out before you can stop it.
“Please what?”
“Please fuck me.”
“Where.” His fingers crook inside you, and your vision whites out for a second. “Where do you want me to fuck you.”
“My pussy first. Please. I need you in my pussy.”
He doesn’t make you wait. His fingers withdraw, and then the head of his cock is pressing against you, slick and hot. He drags the tip through your folds, coating himself, and when he pushes in you both make the same sound.
“Oh, fuck,” he grits out. “You’re so wet. You’re so fucking wet for me.”
He bottoms out and stays there, his hips flush against your ass, his hands gripping your waist hard enough to bruise. You can feel all of him—the length, the thickness, the way he’s throbbing inside you—and for a moment neither of you moves.
His body covers yours, his chest pressed to your back, his mouth at your ear. “I love you,” he says, and the words are so tender in contrast to everything else that your heart stutters. “I love you so fucking much. But right now I’m going to fuck you like I don’t.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
Then he pulls out and slams back in.
The bed frame rattles and thumps against the wall. You’re already babbling something, words that don’t make sense, just sounds and curses and his name. He fucks into you hard, relentless, and the angle has him hitting deep, deeper than you expected, and your fingers claw at the sheets.
“This what you wanted?” His voice is rough. “Wanted me to fuck you like this? Bent over on my birthday, still wearing your pretty little dress?”
“Yes. Fuck, yes.”
“You’re so fucking dirty,” he groans. “You like being my dirty little slut, hm?”
He lands a smack on your ass, sharp and hot, and the sting radiates outward. You cry out—half pain, half pleasure—and he does it again, harder this time, his rhythm never faltering.
“So fucking good.” His hips snap forward, and the wet sound of him fucking into you fills the room. “Your pussy’s so good. Taking me so fucking good, baby.”
The dress is bunched around your waist. Your thighs are slick with your own arousal, and you can feel it dripping, can feel how wet you are from sucking his cock and taking his fingers and now this—his cock pumping into you, his hand gripping your hip, his breathing ragged and loud.
You look over your shoulder, and the sight almost makes you come—Changbin, still half-dressed, his shirt hanging open, his muscles flexing with every thrust. His hair is falling into his eyes. His jaw is clenched. He’s looking down at where your bodies meet, watching himself disappear into you, and his expression is one of total, consuming want.
“Bin.”
“Yeah.” His eyes flick to yours. “Yeah, say my fucking name.”
“Bin, I want you in my ass.”
His rhythm stutters. His fingers dig into your flesh. “Fuck. Fuck.”
“Please, Binnie. Want you to fuck my ass.”
He pulls out, and the emptiness is back, but only for a moment. You hear him spit—hear the wet sound of it—and then his hand is on himself, slicking his cock, and the head is pressing against your asshole.
“Ready for me, sweetheart?”
“Yes.”
He pushes in. Slow. So slow. The stretch is different from the plug—hotter, thicker, longer—and your mouth opens on a sound that doesn’t quite come out. He stops halfway, his breathing ragged, his forehead pressed to your shoulder.
“Still okay, baby?”
“Don’t stop. Please don’t fucking stop.”
He sinks in, inch by agonizing inch, until he’s fully seated, and the fullness is indescribable. You feel stuffed, overwhelmed, and when he starts to move you think you might actually lose your mind.
“Your fucking—God, baby. So tight. So fucking tight around my cock.”
He fucks your ass the way he fucked your pussy—hard, deep, without mercy—and the sounds you’re making aren’t words anymore. They’re moans. Gasps. Broken versions of his name. The spit from earlier is still drying on your chin, and you’re still wearing your dress, and you’re being pounded and it’s everything you wanted.
“Knew you were saving it for tonight, didn’t you? Knew you wanted my cock in your ass.”
“Yes. Yes. Yes.”
He fucks you harder. The bed is slamming into the wall, and you don’t care if the neighbors hear, don’t care if the whole building knows what’s happening in this room. His hand slides up your back, pressing between your shoulder blades, and you sink deeper into the mattress, your ass higher, the angle even sharper.
“Touch yourself,” he commands. “Touch that pretty pussy while I fuck your tight, little ass.”
Your hand moves without thought, fingers finding your clit, and the double sensation makes you keen.
He’s babbling now, his words running together. “So good, so fucking good, best fucking present, your ass is so tight, gonna fuck it forever, never wanna stop—“
His rhythm falters. His hips stutter. You can feel him swelling, feel him getting even harder if that’s possible, and you know he’s close.
“Gonna come,” he gasps. “Gonna come in your ass. Fill you up. Fuck, fuck, fuck—“
He slams deep and holds there, and you feel it—the pulse, the heat, the wetness flooding inside you. His groan is long and broken, his body shaking, his fingers gripping your ass cheeks hard that the flesh bunches in his palms.
“Fuuuuuck.”
The sound stretches out, dissolves into breathless panting. He stays inside you for a long moment, his forehead pressed to your back, his chest heaving. When he finally pulls out, you feel his come trickle out after him, hot and slow.
For a long moment, neither of you speak. You can’t. You’re both too wrecked, too spent, your bodies slick with sweat and trembling with aftershocks.
“I can’t feel my legs,” he finally mumbles into your shoulder.
You laugh, and it comes out weak and breathless. “Happy birthday.”
He snorts. “Best birthday ever.” He shifts, and collapses beside you, his hand reaching over to run up and down your back. “We’re gonna have to change the sheets.”
“Worth it.”
“Yeah.” He rolls onto his side, pulls you with him so you’re face to face, his hand coming up to cup your jaw. “You’re fucking incredible. You know that, right?”
You smile, still a little hazy. “You might’ve mentioned it a few times.”
“I’m serious.” His dark eyes are soft now, his thumb tracing your cheekbone. “I don’t know what I did to deserve you.”
“You were born. That’s worth celebrating.”
He breathes out a laugh and leans in for a kiss. “I love you.”

This morning is better. You don’t feel like you’d been beaten up, you’re back to just the usual pregnancy aches and pains, and that’s a win in your books. When you head down to breakfast you notice Minho sitting in Jeongin’s usual spot next to your normal seat. You look over to see a pouting Jeongin so you take it upon yourself to greet him first. The younger alpha immediately holds you close, burying his face into the fabric of the hoodie covering your stomach. He places a sweet kiss on your middle before looking up at you with the most adorable puppy dog eyes, which just scream at you to kiss him; you can’t say no to that. The kiss is short and sweet, you give a gentle squeeze to his hand before heading to your seat, where Minho already has a plate ready for you. As you sit down you take notice of who’s missing.
“Where’s Channie and Jisung?” You hum.
“Hyung was up really late, he's probably going to sleep in. Jisung is eating breakfast in the nest, he’s got a headache. Nothing you need to worry your pretty little head about.” Minho smiles sweetly as he urges you to eat your breakfast, but if you weren’t worried before, you are now. Not only did Minho usually get upset when you didn’t all eat together, but he was being sickly sweet right now. After what you overheard outside the office the other night, bright red lights went off in your head. You didn’t push though, not wanting to upset the alpha you ate breakfast without an issue.
You spend a while contemplating checking on Jisung. Even though Minho had asked you not to, claiming he didn’t want you to get sick but your chest aches. He’s your omega, your baby boy, even if he is older than you. So when the smell of the sweetest chocolate cake fills your nose followed by a soft knock at your bedroom door you jump up, to the best of your ability given your current state, without any hesitation. You open the door but before you can even open your mouth Jisung takes your wrist, guiding you down to the pack den. He’s quiet and gentle, which is not like him at all. The older omega lays you down gently in the middle of the nest before crawling in next to you, practically wrapping his body around you like a koala. Subconsciously, you melt into his touch, and in turn, he scents you heavily. His scent is sweet; if it were any other omega besides your packmate, you’d probably be sick.
“Minho said you didn’t feel good, is everything okay Sungie?” You coo at the omega, eager to help the omega feel better, if his illness was affecting his scent and his behavior this much it could be pretty serious.
“I’m in pre-heat. I have been for a couple of days.” He blurts it out. It wasn’t supposed to come out like that, he wanted so badly to ease you into this but his mind is so fuzzy. His omega clawing at the surface for control he doesn’t even understand why he said that. Your heart drops at his words, heat… he’s in heat. Sure they all had sex with you in the house, but this is different. Heats are so much more intense. Your mind races at the thought. No one had had any conversation with you about what to expect or what to do. How did they even handle their cycles? Are they synced up? Many times they’ve all assured you they weren’t jealous of each other but ruts were different, god especially if they’re synced up any alpha in their rut would go feral for a fertile omega in heat laying in front of them, you doubt they’d be able to share then. You shake your head trying to focus, you have to be there for Jisung. The only way for an omega to get relief is from an alpha, you have to do something.
“If you’re in heat you need an alpha! I’ll go get someone for you.” Your voice is so panicked that it makes Jisung grimace, his omega growls at him for not keeping you comfortable.
“Please don’t! If anyone finds out all the alphas will come and then you’ll have to leave because once my heat starts, everyone else will follow. I know you’re probably really scared of the alphas’ ruts but I just want to be here with you.” Jisung’s voice is whiny, even worse than it usually is.
“I- fuck! Jisung I can’t help you, and if they find out I’m keeping you away from them they’ll be so upset.” Your voice is panicked which only makes Jisung panic. The omega pulls you closer to him, resting your head directly on his scent gland, praying his scent can calm you.
“I don’t need help.” He growls softly. “I just need you, my sweet omega. Just want you and puppy.” His words border on babbling the further he gets into the sentence, his nose stays firmly planted in your hair, inhaling your scent as if it’s the most addictive drug on the planet. A vital realization seems to hit you, heats are an omega’s most vulnerable state and he wants you here with him. Your mind begins to fuzz as your omega takes over. While your movements are soft but instinctual, scenting him so heavily that the room smells like there’s a giant chocolate cherry cake in the middle of it. The older omega doesn’t protest when you fret over him, making sure the nest is to his liking, placing soft soothing kisses to his plush cheeks. He’s but all too focused on your bump, caressing and cooing at the curve of your stomach. After you’d gotten your phone you did a lot of research into pregnancy and pack dynamics during it. It took you a whole month but eventually you worked up the nerve to click the article on how a pregnancy could affect the packmates’ cycles. It’s a given that a pregnant omega would have effects on alphas but bonded omegas are worse, in the eyes of their omega that pup is theirs too, that combined with the power of any omega bond it’s the perfect recipe for Jisung to be all over you and your bump as he settles into his pre-heat.
Much to your surprise it takes hours for anyone to come looking for either of you. The sound of the basement door opening makes your heart drop. The smell of soft fresh roses gives away that it’s just Hyunjin, no alphas. Jisung’s really out of it now, so when the loudest omega growl you’d ever heard rattles against your eardrum, safe to say you’re shocked he’s coherent enough to do that. The omega pulls you closer to his chest, turning your head away from who he sees as an intruder.
“Sungie.” The beta’s voice is as soft as a hand defusing a bomb, a delicate omega bomb. All he gets is another growl in return, but no explosion, not yet.
“My love, I know you want them with you, but we didn’t talk about this. You didn’t even ask if she wanted this.” The broken whimper that comes from beside you hurts, but Hyunjin is right. You can’t spend his heat with him, not yet. Maybe if it was just him but the idea of being with the whole pack makes anxiety bubble in your chest.
“Get Minho,” you speak firmly, you can’t see Hyunjin but the way his rosy scent spikes you can imagine how your words shocked him.
“Y/N, I don’t know if that’s a good idea. He’s-“
“I said get Minho.” Your voice is pointed but not cold. Being a beta, Hyunjin can read you like no other. He knows you have both yours and Jisung’s best interests in mind so he obeys.
The cinnamon scent is almost suffocating now, much stronger than it was just this morning. Minho walks slowly, stopping shortly after each step towards the nest. Jisung’s interest is immediately piqued, pulling you closer and growling once again but you do your best to push out more of your milky scent to ease him. Minho kneels down next to the nest, he’s close enough that you can see the slight haze that takes over his cat-like eyes. His hands rest in his lap as he waits for you to speak, a clear sign of his submission to you.
“I can’t stay with Jisung.” You blurt out, your voice shakes. Your fears are only confirmed when Jisung lets out the most devastating whine imaginable. Your omega begins to cry, begging you to change your mind.
Mate needs you. Protect mate from alpha.
“I know,” Minho whispers. The room is silent for a moment before you look back up at Minho.
“You have to promise me you’ll take care of him. He’s gonna be so hurt that I’m not here and everything in me is screaming at me to protect him from you.” Warm tears fall down your cheeks with your words. Minho’s eyes widened before softening again, he’d do anything for his omegas.
“You have my word. If anything happens to any of you, you can kill me yourself.” The alpha bows at the side of the nest, determined to show you how much he means his words. You maneuver yourself around to face Jisung, it’s a little hard given his grip and your bump but you manage. The older omega’s eyes are hazy and full of fresh tears, it just breaks your heart. Over the months you’d been with the pack Jisung had become your puppy, you love spending your days babying him and giving him as much attention as possible. God did he eat it up too, he’d say you were one of the best things to ever happen to him but you’d really say it’s the other way around. You feel like you’re betraying him as the back of your hand softly glides across his cheek, desperately trying to not only comfort him but your own omega as well.
“I love you so much Ji, and I’ll be waiting for you as soon as it’s over yeah? Maybe if at some point you’re up to it you can come see me upstairs in between some of your spikes. I promise we’ll both be okay.” Your teary-eyed smile leaves Jisung speechless, he just reaches his hand to lay it flatly against your bump.
“We’ll both be waiting for you okay? I’ll have so many cuddles saved up for you.” You giggle sadly, before leaning in to plant a kiss on his soft lips. He’s practically putty in your hands now, you’re able to lay him down in the nest softly before leaning down to pepper his face with sweet kisses. With one final kiss and a deep breath, you leave the nest. You give Minho one final look, one that lets him know how serious you are about him taking care of your omega, before you leave the den one last time before their cycles end.
When you emerge from the den Jeongin is waiting behind the door, and the alpha immediately pulls you into his embrace.
“I can’t imagine how hard this is for you, I wish I could fix it.” The alpha’s voice is strained, even if you hadn’t seen his wet eyelashes you’d know he’d been crying.
“It’s okay, I promise I’ll be fine while you all… handle yourselves.” You hum, your head nestled into the crook of his neck. His scent is earthier, he must be starting soon as well.
“I can stay up here with you if you want, I promise I can behave! I just don’t want you to be alone.” You want to respond and tell him that’s not necessary, you want him to enjoy his rut with his pack, but Chan speaks before you have the chance.
“Actually I’ll be staying up here with her.” Jeongin whips his head around, ready to protest his pack leader but Chan cuts him off.
“I’m the one with the most control during my ruts. I already talked to Felix and Han and they were okay with it.” Chan’s not just speaking to Jeongin now, he’s speaking to you too. A pack alpha missing their omegas’ heats is unheard of, but he’s willing to do it for you. Your mouth falls open as you look between the two alphas. Jeongin pulls you back into his embrace, taking in your scent. He pulls away for a moment, leaning down to be at eye level
with the curve of your stomach.
“I love you princess.” He places a sweet kiss before
coming back up to see you. Without another word, he takes your face in his hands.
“And I love you so much. My ruts don’t last long, I will come see you the second I feel better.” The alpha seals his words with a kiss. It’s hungry, but still
full of his love for you.
With that the youngest alpha retreats to the den, fighting an internal battle you may never understand. Your eyes wander away from the closed basement door to Chan. He’s always been bad at hiding his emotions, not just in his scent, but in his face too. You can see the mix of determination and fear lingering on his soft facial features. His scent is basically filling the entire room, it’s got a sour edge to it but overall it’s strong and steady.
“I will stay in my room, I will only bother you to check on you, and if you need me for anything.” His voice comes out more confident than you thought it would, it eases your nerves just enough for you to breathe.
Chan stays true to his promise, he’s been in his room for over two days now. You didn’t think deeply enough about how much you’d miss the pack. Luckily you’ve been able to see Hyunjin and Seungmin a couple of times. Betas don’t have heats or ruts but they are extremely important to the pack in times like this so you don’t feel hurt that they’re down there instead of up here with you. They both try their best to alternate and come up to see you whenever they have the chance.
You’re finishing up cooking dinner when Hyunjin comes up, shocked to see you in the kitchen.
“You know Minho prepared a bunch of dinners and put them in the freezer right?” The beta’s voice is much smaller than you’re used to, he’s walking on eggshells. It almost annoys you because you don’t need that. You don’t want that.
“I wanted to do something nice. It’s done now so you can take some with you when you go back down there. Take that bag with you too, it has a bunch of my clothes worn and scented.” You don’t look at him when you speak instead you point to the bag that sits on the floor next to the basement door before going back to plating the food you made into containers. Hyunjin walks over to you, his movements are soft and calculated. His long arms wrap around you before he places a kiss on your cheek.
“Thank you, I know this is hard for you.”
“You don’t have to thank me, I’m just taking care of my pack.” Your words are confident in a way that Hyunjin has never heard from you before. It makes his beta purr, deeply satisfied with your newfound behaviors.
“If you need anything, we’ll still be here, please don’t forget that.” The beta hesitates for a moment, choosing his words wisely.
“Chan will never hurt you. But goddess forbid, if anything happens, you shout for us. Doesn’t have to be loud, we’ll know.” There’s something layered to his words that you don’t quite understand but you appreciate them nonetheless.
“That won’t happen, but sure, I will. I promise.” You smile, giving him a final kiss before sending him on his way with the food and your clothes.
You contemplate whether you should bring Chan his food, he’d told you he’d make his own food but you refused to leave him out when you made enough for everyone. Maybe you could leave it on the counter and send him a text? Something inside you pushes away that idea, your omega coming to the forefront to beg you to bring the food to him yourself. If you had to guess he probably started his rut sometime this morning, maybe he’s not that bad yet. He seemed pretty coherent during his preheat yesterday, you’d be okay to just drop off some food right? With a deep breath, you take the bowl, waking up to the alpha’s room with slow calculated steps. You stand outside his door for several minutes before you gather the courage to knock. You hear a soft approval to come in from the other side, it takes a moment but you bring yourself to enter his room.
“I made you some dinner.” Your words come out more shaken than you had intended. Chan is lying in his bed, in nothing but a pair of sweatpants, ones you weren’t even his. Your heart aches at the thought that he might be struggling with being away from his mates right now, and it’s all your fault.
“Aw, thank you Y/N. You can just leave it here.” The alpha manages to push out one of his big dimpled smiles for you but you can see the way he grimaces behind it. Your mind lights up like a Christmas tree, telling you to leave the food and go but your omega just can’t do that.
“I can feed you, if you’re not feeling well.“ You blurt out causing the alpha to look at you a little shocked.
“Baby, you don’t have to do that, did you even eat yet?” No you haven't, you just want to take care of them.
“I haven’t.” You frown, afraid he may kick you out now.
“So we’ll share.” He smiles scooting over in his bed to make room for you. Your head tilts cutely before you make your way to the bed. When your skin touches his you notice how hot it is, it almost burns you. You don’t bring yourself to comment though, not wanting to ruin this. You fall into a pattern, you feed Chan a bite then yourself, and so on until the bowl is empty. Your heart aches knowing this means you’ll have to leave the alpha again, you just wish things were different, that you were different.
“Is it hypocritical that I don’t want to leave?” you pout. Chan’s eyes widen at your words.
“When I said I’m the one with the most control, I meant it. I wouldn’t even touch you without permission right now.”
“I know. You’re such a good alpha Chan. I wish I could be a better omega.” you frown looking away from the alpha contemplating leaving the room.
“Please let me hold you.” The alpha pleads causing your eyes to widen.
“Chan-“
“You can’t just say something like that and not allow me to comfort you.” You look at him for a moment, looking for any trace of something not genuine. You find none. So you hesitantly nod, crawling into the alpha’s lap. He immediately wraps his arms around you, rocking you only slightly, one of your favorite habits of his.
“Baby, you have given us everything. You allowed us to take you in and fall so deeply in love with you. You’re even giving us our first pup, that alone is worth its weight in gold.” You can’t see it but the alpha is smiling ear to ear, thinking about how perfectly you fit into his pack.
“I can’t be there for any of you during this vulnerable time, just because it makes me stupidly anxious.” You huff, frustrated with yourself.
“Your trauma isn’t your fault my love, and we sure as hell are not entitled to your body or even your presence.” He places a soft kiss on your temple.
“But I’m keeping you away from your omegas.”
“You’re also my omega, my very pregnant omega. I cannot stress enough how much being with you calms my rut brain” You turn to look up at him, confused by his words.
“I’m not even doing anything to help?”
“My wolf is fully satisfied when my omega is sitting in my lap, pupped and safe. Of course, I miss the pack and want to be there for them through this but this is the easiest rut I’ve ever had and it’s thanks to you.” The alpha voice is barely above a whisper. You now both share a matching blush at the revelation. It becomes hard for you to find the words to say and you end up a little lost in your own thoughts, but Chan is right there to pull you back.
“Have you ever heard of fated mates?” Chan doesn’t know why he said it, why he wants to have this talk now but he’s already dived headfirst and there’s no going back
“Uh, I only know a little bit from movies and stuff.” You frown.
“It’s okay, I’ll explain it to you,” Chan speaks sweetly, giving your arms a soft squeeze of reassurance. “It’s rare but some wolves are born with a bond attached to them, to the person they are destined to spend their life with. Our pack is special because we all share that bond with each other. We can feel each other’s emotions, even when we’re apart.”
“But can’t all mates do that?” You whisper.
“No, not in the same sense. Typical mates are more in tune with their mate’s emotions and existence but we can feel each other. I know when Jisung finds out he ran out of his favorite snacks. I knew when Jeongin fell in love with you. I even knew what happened on Christmas.” A deep blush spreads across your cheeks.
“That’s a little weird no?” The alpha lets out a hearty laugh.
“Okay, it’s not like how you’re thinking. I feel everyone the most intensely as the leader, Seungmin and Hyunjin are a very close second though as betas the bond holds them to a higher ranking because they need to know how we feel to be able to help the pack. Think of me like the epicenter and everyone is connected to me but also to each other. I couldn’t exactly know for sure what you two were doing but I could feel that Felix was, well horny.” His laugh turned into a more awkward one at his confession.
“But I’m not a part of that bond…” You trail off looking away from the alpha, this feels like a kick in the gut. Why would Chan bring this up now? This is just another reminder of your failures and why you feel like you shouldn’t stay with the pack some days.
“That’s the thing, we feel you. When Changbin found you, he told us he felt like the air had left his lungs. Everything in him screamed that you’re his. All of us later had similar reactions once we met you. We always had this dull ache in the bond, which means that someone was missing, and now we are certain it’s you. We can’t sense you fully yet because we aren’t mated but that pull? It’s undeniable.” You nod your head slowly, trying to process the bucketload of information you just got.
“I thought I was greedy. The way my omega staked her claim on you all, I thought maybe I was just being clingy and desperate. You’re saying this pull, it means something?” Chan’s eyes widened at your words, the pack had long given up on the idea of you feeling the bond before mating. They’d heard you nonchalantly mention little things about feeling drawn to them but they shook it off as you just falling for them, afraid maybe your many years of repressing your omega had also repressed the bond.
“Yes baby, it means everything.” Chan’s eyes sparkle as he looks down at you, a whole part of his world rests in his lap, his to protect and love, and cherish.
“So we’d have to mate to initiate my link in the bond?” Your voice is low, trying to get everything straight in your head. You feel a pang in your chest, the idea that you’d have to wait so long to feel the bond fully, and it hurts.
“I want to talk to you about something, but I want you to understand that everything is on your terms, don’t consider anyone but yourself, got it?”
“You’re scaring me just a bit, but okay, I understand.”
“I was doing some research. There’s not a ton out there on this, but there are some studies that say fated mates can mate outside of their cycles. I even looked into it in relation to the omega being pregnant and most of the research is in relation to pregnant omegas because that’s when people use this method most. In all the studies with pregnant omegas, no harm has come to the pup or the dam.” Chan sounds so cool and confident in your burning ears. You think for a moment maybe he’s lost his mind, maybe this isn’t Chan you’re talking to. The leader who makes and follows every rule, who strives for the protection and safety of his pack by any means necessary.
“The rest of the pack doesn’t know I know this.” Yeah, he’s actually lost it. Chan won’t even buy a new kind of ramen without asking the pack first. Yet here he is researching and making plans on how to mate you sooner.
“Chan, I think it’d be best to talk to the pack about this in a few days.“ You frown, of course, you want to be mated, that’s the only thing you want, but you can’t help but think of the what-ifs.
“The pack wants this just as much as we do. It’s not guaranteed to work, but as far as we know, there’s no reason not to try.” The way he says we instead of referring to just himself isn’t missed on you. He’s right, you do want this, so bad.
Thinking usually comes so easily for you, your mind is always overthinking at any chance it gets. Now it’s hard. You want Chan’s bite more than anything in this world. To finally be a permanent part of this pack, if there’s even a five percent chance you could have it, you want that. The way your scent sours jumps Chan into action. Gently turning your face to look at him. The feeling of his fingers on your cheek sends chills down your spine, knocking you back into reality.
“My love, look at me. Like I said, nothing happens without your permission. Listen to your instincts, nothing else.” The alpha places a soft kiss on your forehead.
“I want it. I want your bite and everything that comes with it.” Chan searches your eyes for any sign of hesitation, but there is none. You’ve never been so confident in something in your life.
“And I want yours.” The alpha smiles before moving to lay you down on the bed. Soft fingertips graze over your torso, your arms, all the way up to your face.
“You’re such a gorgeous omega, I’m the luckiest alpha on the planet.” His voice is barely above a whisper before he places a passionate kiss on your lips. One of his hands rests on the side of your head while the other grips your hip.
“Chan…” You trail off, your voice is breathy and sickeningly sweet to the alpha’s ears. It drives Chan near insane.
“Shhh don’t worry, we won’t do anything you’re not ready for. Just want you to know how loved you truly are before I claim you. I would always love you with or without this claim.”
The alpha admires your neck, now free from the disgusting bite that monster left on you. The perfect canvas for his bite. He hated seeing that mark on you every day, when he found out it wasn’t a complete claim and it would disappear now that the monster was gone, he was thrilled. Chan makes work kissing every inch of your body he can get his lips on, a few hickeys left behind from moments he felt his alpha wanting to take control. When he gets back up to your neck he places multiple soft kisses over your scent gland, almost drinking in your milky cherry scent.
“Are you absolutely certain?” The alpha tilts his head to look up at you, adoring the dazed look on your beautiful face.
“I love you, Chan. Please, make me yours.” You mewl.
For once the alpha doesn’t hesitate, with one swift movement he sinks his teeth into the soft flesh of your neck. Your body tenses for a moment and Chan almost rushes to pull away but you immediately melt in his arms once again, easing any worry he had. The alpha softly licks at the fresh wound cleaning it up. Once he’s satisfied he pulls back admiring his work with a smile before he sits up, checking over you to make sure you don’t feel any negative side effects.
“For the bond to solidify, you need to bite me as well. You can do it right over my other bite marks, it won’t affect my bond with them at all.” Chan coos, rubbing his hand up and down your arm soothingly.
“Okay.” You nod confidently, moving to sit up on your legs in front of the alpha. He immediately holds your hips using his thumbs to rub comforting circles against them.
“Last chance to turn ba-“ He’s cut off by the feeling of your teeth sinking into his scarred neck.
It’s instant. The feeling of the ninth branch of their bond lighting up and solidifying itself. It worked, you’re their final puzzle piece. Chan’s thoughts are cut off by the feeling of you resting your head on his shoulder causing him to panic.
“Y/N? You okay?” He holds you up in his arms, rubbing soothingly over your arms.
“It’s a lot, so many feelings. So loud.” Your voice is small. Chan can’t help but think maybe this was too much, maybe you weren’t ready. Before this moment he would have panicked, overthinking about everything you could possibly be feeling, but now he can feel it. He feels the underlying sense of peace and happiness coursing through your bond and he could cry just thinking about it. He can finally say for certain you’re okay, just overwhelmed.
“I know baby, I know, let's lie down yeah?” The alpha happily guides you to lie down in his bed, pulling you into his arms softly. He pushes out his scent in hopes to help you settle so in turn the bond could settle.
“Thank you Channie.” You hum, curling up into his chest. Chan wants to respond but he’s interrupted by his door flying open.
“What the fuck did you do?” Seungmin shouts, the beta rushing over ready to take the omega away from Chan. The pack alpha lets out a warning growl, not to deter his beta but more to tell him to calm the hell down. Seungmin pauses for a moment, body automatically reacting to the growl but he’s quickly back to fussing over you. It’s weird, you can feel Seungmin’s anger and fear, and a part of you now aches at the feeling. You reach your hand up to smooth over the beta’s cheek giving him a smile that makes him stop in his tracks.
“I’m okay, a little overwhelmed but you coming in here yelling isn’t helping that is it?” You coo at the beta desperately trying to calm at least one of the intense feelings you can feel right now. Seungmin just sighs and turns back to Chan, his voice now significantly calmer.
“What were you thinking? Were you even thinking? How did you even get the bite to take?” Seungmin sounds stressed so you sit up taking his hand to give him a gentle reassuring squeeze.
“I did research. You have to trust me that I read every single article I could find on this. I didn't expect it to happen today, but it just felt so right Seung. She wanted me to talk to you guys first but I know we all wanted this so bad, and now it’s real.” Chan pleads with the beta, like a desperate child looking for their parent’s approval.
“We all felt her solidify in the bond. Everyone is down there confused and some are upset, I have to get back to them. This isn’t finished. We want the entire story as soon as this is all over. Then we can decide how to proceed.” With a soft kiss on your temple and a glare sent in the pack leader’s direction Seungmin retreats, frantically making his way back to the den.
“Things are going to get a little overwhelming once they’re able to leave the den, I just want to warn you.” Chan melts back into the mattress, smoothing his hand over your hip to guide you down as well.
“I know. I’m ready for whatever comes with this mark.”
For once your breathing is even, you’re not scared. You’ve never felt safer in your life. It’s overwhelming to think about how many years you spent believing a claim mark would be the worst thing to ever happen to you, when your fated mates were waiting out there to change all of that for you. So much has changed in the past few months, and yet every day it still feels like there’s another obstacle or something you have to learn or unlearn. Though these big victories don’t feel any less significant even when every day there seem to be little ones. When the pack first found out, you never imagined you’d be able to lie in bed with Chan, let alone be claimed by him. Now you have both. Of course, Chan still notices the way you hesitate and the worries you hide, he’s your alpha he has to notice. Now he’ll be able to feel them too, knowing you on the deepest level possible. He won’t mention it, not now at least, but he will spend every day of his life loving you until all the hands that have ever hurt you mentally or physically are distant memories and he will continue even long after that.
You never thought you’d be able to sleep so peacefully next to a rutting alpha but your omega whines at the idea of you leaving the alpha’s arms right now, no matter how badly you need to use the bathroom. Chris isn’t much better, whining like a puppy when he feels you start to peel yourself out of his grip, but he immediately backs down the second you explain you just need to go to the bathroom. Caring more about your needs than his stupid alpha instincts.
After your bathroom adventure, you suddenly have a craving for some of Felix’s brownies. Chan won’t mind if you’re gone just a bit longer. You quietly make your way down to the kitchen, it’s almost like a sleuth mission. Felix hid these brownies especially for you to have while he was in heat and couldn’t make you any, you doubt anyone would come up from the den now that it’s well past midnight but you never know. You happily munch on the delicious treats before hiding them once again. The mission is a success. As you clean up the crumbs of your delicious endeavor the sound of soft footsteps padding towards the kitchen and stopping in the doorway causes you to look up. Your eyes widen at the sight.
Thinking about omega!reader terrorizing everyone on base because your heat is around the corner and your mate isn't here...
Truly, you're a monster without your mate.
You know damn well price knows your schedule, because you explicitly tell him not to send your mate around that time. No amount of "the mission couldn't wait" or "he's essential to the success." Did anything to stop you from growling at price every moment you could, instincts screaming about something you can't have.
People would rather take the long loop around the outside of base than pass by your office out of fear of coming across you. You made one of the mechanic cry last week, omega pheromones raging and fucking with everyone's instincts even through the scent blockers.
It's clear to everyone that you're on the verge, pacing constantly and glaring at anything that moves. Price is smart enough not to intervene, but he did cancel you from sparring after ghosts alpha pheromones got a bit too aggressive and had you taking a chunk out of his forearm with your teeth.
So really, everyone's happy when the heli finally lands.
You're practically purring for the first time in days, eyes glued to the lowering ramp. The moment you spot Johnny You're across the landing in second, calling "johnny! Johnny, are you okay?"
Holding him at arms length, short claws digging into his shoulders and nearly burning at the first touch of your mate. You scan him up and down, only for soap to chuckle and lean in to scent your neck "ahm' okay, mate. No' hurt at all."
"Good." You smile, sweetly scenting him too, then promptly shoving him onto the ramp he still stood on. Varying sounds of judgement sound from behind while you settle on top of soaps lap, grinding down and nearly losing it just at that. "I'm gonna fuckin' break you, johnny. Never leave like that again, got it?"
You feel soaps dick twitch under you, hips involuntarily jerking with a reverent "okay."
The rest of the team, knowing you'll tear out a throat if anyone tries to stop you right now, makes quick work of vacating the area. Gaz shouts something from across the space, and soap purrs and tosses a thumbs-up, but you could care less.
Right now, you have nights of bonding to make-up for.
For the nonny who wanted more soap, sorry I've neglected him :<

setting: From a quiet goodnight at your apartment, to Chan waking his best friends before sunrise just to gush about his first kiss, and finally to 3RACHA Gym, where one lovestruck boxer proves that even champions can lose a fight against a swinging heavy bag.
The evening had bled into a soft, velvety darkness. The apartment was quiet now, save for the low hum of the refrigerator and the distant sigh of your son’s bedroom. Chan stood in the small, warmly lit space by your front door. The afterglow of the night—of building a truly catastrophic Lego fortress. The reading five handmade paper books with increasingly dramatic voices. Your son’s sleepy, trusting weight against his chest as he’d carried him to bed. The natural thing to do was say goodnight, to open the door. To let him leave but your feet carried you forward instead. Closing the small distance, you wrapped your arms around his waist in’, burying your face against the solid warmth of his chest. He smelled like clean cotton, the faint, sharp scent of his cologne, and the unique, comforting smell that was just him. For a heartbeat, he stiffened, a jolt of surprise running through him.
Then, with a shuddering exhale, his arms came around you. They were strong, enveloping, one hand splaying wide against the small of your back. The other cupping the back of your head with a tenderness that stole your breath. He held you like you were something precious, his chin resting on the top of your head. You both turned your heads at the same time, seeking that final closeness. And then it happened, your lips brushed against his. It was barely a touch—a fleeting, accidental meeting of skin as you both moved. But the effect was instantaneous, like a live wire had been dropped into water. Chan recoiled, springing back so suddenly he bumped against the door with a solid thud. The soft, contented man was gone—Replaced by a wide-eyed, panicking mess. His hand flew to his mouth.
“Oh my god. I’m—I’m so sorry. That was—I didn’t mean—I would never—That was completely inappropriate. I overstepped. I’m the coach, I’m—I’m so sorry. I just… I got caught in the moment and… and your hair smelled nice and… No! That’s worse. I’m making it worse. I should just—” The words tumbled out of him in a frantic, his ears were blazing red. His eyes darting from you to the door like a trapped animal. The discipline, the rules, the creed he’d built his life around came crashing down on him all at once.
You didn’t let him finish, you stepped forward, closed the space he’d created, and kissed him again. This time, it was no accident. It was deliberate, firm, and perfectly aimed to silence his spiraling panic. Your hands came up to frame his jaw, your thumbs stroking over the high planes of his cheeks. He made a sound against your lips—a choked-off gasp that melted mid-breath, into a deep, surrendering moan. His hands found your waist pulling you flush against him. He kissed you back with a desperate, hungry intensity, as if he’d been starving for this and only now realized it. His lips were softer than you’d imagined, yet insistent. One of his hand moved to the back of your head to deepen the kiss. The other stayed anchored on your waist, his fingers pressing into the curve of your hip. You walked him backward, one step, then another—Until his shoulders met the solid wood of your front door with a soft thump. He broke the kiss with a sharp intake of breath, his eyes blown black with desire and dazed confusion.
“W-wait,” he panted, his voice ragged. “We… I… This is… I’m not…” He was trying to summon the panic again, to rebuild the walls. You didn’t give him the chance. You leaned in, pressing your lips to the frantic pulse point at the base of his throat. He shuddered violently, a full-body tremor that you felt. His head fell back against the door with a dull thud, a broken, “Fuck,” escaping his lips. You kissed a slow, deliberate path up the column of his neck. Feeling the muscles jump under your mouth, tasting the salt of his skin. You nipped lightly at his jaw, and his grip on your hip became almost painful. The last of his resistance dissolved into a low, continuous groan. His hands slid down to your thighs, gripping them, urging you closer even as he was pinned against the door. When you finally pulled back, his eyes were glazed, his lips kiss-swollen and parted. He was breathing like he’d just gone twelve rounds, his chest heaving against yours. You smoothed a thumb over his damp lower lip, watching him shiver at the touch.
“Goodnight, Chan… Text me when you get home,” you whispered. He blinked slowly, struggling to process words. His dopey, utterly captivated smile was your reward. It was a smile of pure, unguarded wonder that didn’t match the fierce boxer or the disciplined coach.
“Okay,” he breathed, the word a soft, awed sigh. He nodded, his nose brushing against yours. “I’ll… I’ll text you. When I’m home… Goodnight, little lady.”

The five hours of sleep Chan managed to get were not restful, but they were euphoric. The memory replayed in fragments—the soft gasp, the crushing weight of panic, the shocking silence when your lips met his again, the feel of your back under his hands, the wood grain of the door against his shoulders.
By 4:45 AM, he was vibrating, a live wire of giddy, disbelieving energy. The gym wouldn’t open for hours, but he had to move. His first coherent thought, through the blissful fog, was:
Min and Binnie need to know.
It was a terrible, wonderful idea.
Twenty minutes later, he was using the spare key Minho had foolishly given him for emergencies. He crept into the dark, immaculate apartment. Waving hi to the three cats that stared at him but ultimately when back to ignoring his presence. Minho was a shapeless lump under a black duvet, only a shock of dark hair visible. Chan didn’t hesitate, he grabbed the duvet and yanked it off in one swift motion.
Minho groaned, curling into a fetal position in his silk pajamas. “I will cut your hands off, Chan-at. I swear on the gym.”
“Get up,” Chan chirped, his voice abnormally bright for the pre-dawn hour.
“Die. Die first.”
Chan didn’t argue, he simply bent down—Hooked his arms under his friend, and hauled him up and over his shoulder in a fireman’s carry. Minho, now dangling, was lethally silent for a three-count. “...You are dead. You are a dead man walking. Put me down.”
“We’re going to Bin’s!” Chan announced, as if this explained everything. He waved again to the cats, telling them goodbye—They ignored the two. He carried a seething, limp Minho out of the apartment. Down the elevator, and to his car, dumping him unceremoniously into the passenger seat.
Minho slumped against the window, his expression one of profound, murderous betrayal. He looked like an exceptionally grumpy cat that had been shoved into a carrying crate against its will. The drive to Changbin’s building was conducted in a silence. Only broken by Chan’s humming and the occasional, venomous sigh from Minho.
At Changbin’s door, Chan knocked with the rhythmic, persistent cadence of a maniac. After a full two minute, the door swung open to reveal a sleep-rumpled, squinting Changbin. He was wearing only a pair of sweats, his hair a chaotic mess—His expression promising violence.
“What,” he growled, the word not a question but a threat.
Chan, beaming, hefted Minho off his shoulder and set him on his feet inside the doorway. Minho immediately slumped against the wall. Sliding down to sit on the floor, closing his eyes—Hoping to transport himself back to his bed through sheer will.
“We have to talk,” Chan said, pushing past a spluttering Changbin. He was marching into the living room, turning on the main light. It flooded the space with a harsh, fluorescent glare. Changbin shielded his eyes, hissing. “Turn that off or I’m using your skull as gloves for sparring.”
Chan ignored him—He was pacing, the words bubbling out of him. “I kissed her. Well, she kissed me. We kissed. Last night. After you all left. It was—Oaky, so I panicked. I totally panicked. I started apologizing and I think I was having a stroke? And then she just… she kissed me again to shut me up—I think. And I… I melted. I literally melted. I think my bones dissolved. She backed me into her door. I panicked again, because, you know, I’m a very disciplined man—But then she was kissing my neck and I—”
“Hyung,” Changbin interrupted, his voice flat.
“—I completely lost all motor function. It was incredible. Then she told me goodnight and to text her when I got home. And I did! And then we stayed up on FaceTime until, like—I don’t even know! She was just there, on her pillow, and I was on mine, and we just… talked again! All night, it was—Ahh~It was perfect.” He finally stopped pacing, his chest heaving, his eyes shining with triumphant, sleepless joy. He looked expectantly between the two of them.
Minho, from his spot on the floor, didn’t open his eyes. “You owe me a new duvet. And a new soul, you scared mine out of my body.”
Changbin just stared. He walked slowly to his couch and collapsed onto it, rubbing his temples. “Let me get this straight. You woke up at the ass crack of dawn, cat-napped Minho, nearly broke down my door to get into my apartment, blinded me, and gave me a headache… to tell me you made out with noona and had a phone date.”
“Yes!” Chan said, his smile somehow widening.
Changbin looked at Minho. Minho finally opened one dark, unamused eye.
“We deserve a raise,” Minho stated.
“A significant one,” Changbin nodded. “Hazard pay. For emotional and psychological damages incurred from prolonged exposure to your… romantic development.”
Chan’s giddy smile faltered into a deadpan stare. The euphoria was still there, buzzing under his skin, but it was now tempered by profound annoyance. “A raise? I just shared a life-changing personal moment with my two best friends.”
“You shared it at 5:15 in the morning, after using me as a sack of potatoes,” Minho intoned, finally pushing himself up. “And for traumatizing my precious little feral piggies.”
“And I want a new sound system for the gym,” Changbin added, folding his arms. “The one you said was ‘an unnecessary luxury.’ Consider it necessary for my continued mental well-being while being your friend.”
“I hate you both,” he muttered, but the corner of his mouth was twitching upward.

Wednesday afternoon arrived with a golden heat that seeped through the high windows of 3RACHA Gym. The space was in its mid-day lull, the air thick with the scent of old leather and the lingering musk of morning workouts. It was the kind of afternoon where the discipline of the ring gave way to the chaotic energy of the men who ran it. Over by the heavy bags, the eight of them were in the middle of what could only be described as a high-stakes game of "who can make the most ridiculous sound while punching."
Changbin was currently mid-sequence, throwing a series of rapid-fire hooks while making a sound like a dying seagull, which had Minho and Hyunjin doubled over in a fit of silent, shaking laughter. Jisung, Felix, and Jeongin were acting as the judges. The three of them were holding up makeshift scorecards made from torn pieces of cardboard.
Chan was leaning against a support pillar, his arms crossed, a small, amused smile on his face.
maybe we could meet for lunch…?
He kept glancing toward the entrance, his mind thinking back to the text you sent. He was in a state of permanent anticipation, his heart doing a strange, fluttering dance every time the door chime rang. Then, the door opened, you stepped inside, the light from the street framing your silhouette. The moment you caught Chan’s eye, you lifted a hand and gave him a small wave, beckoning him over.
It was as if someone had flipped a switch in his brain. Disconnecting the part responsible for basic motor skills—Replacing it with pure, unadulterated puppy energy. He didn't just walk toward you; he launched himself in your direction, his face splitting into a grin so wide it looked painful. He was so focused on the sight of you—the way you were looking at him, the tilt of your head—that the rest of the physical world simply ceased to exist.
Therefore he didn't notice the heavy bag that Minho had just sent into a violent, oscillating swing.
THWACK
The leather cylinder caught Chan square in the shoulder, the impact sounding like a wet slap. It didn't knock him over, but it sent him staggering sideways—His balance completely compromised. He let out a startled, "Oof!" but he didn't stop.
He couldn't stop.
You were right there.
He corrected his course with a desperate, lunging step. Only to find his foot landing squarely on a pile of damp, discarded cleaning rags that had been left on the mats. His left foot shot forward with the grace of a newborn giraffe on ice. His arms windmilled frantically, his fingers grasping at the empty air as he fought a losing battle with gravity.
For a split second, he looked like he might recover, his eyes wide, a look of sheer, determined hope on his face.
And then, there was the bag.
An emerald green gym bag, with KSM, embroidered on the front pouch. It was left haphazardly on the floor, becoming the final nail in the coffin. Chan’s toe caught the strap, and with a sudden, violent jerk, he was propelled forward. He didn't just trip; he plummeted. He went down in a spectacular, sprawling heap. His limbs flailing before he landed flat on his stomach with a resounding SMACK that echoed through the entire gym.
A heavy, suffocating silence fell over the room. The seagull noises stopped. The cardboard scorecards dropped. Minho, Changbin, and the others stood frozen, staring at the wreckage of their so called big bad boss. Chan lay there for a moment, face-down on the mat, his legs splayed out behind him.
You hurried over, your face a mixture of horror and suppressed amusement. You knelt beside him, your hand resting gently on his shoulder. "Chan! Oh my god, are you okay?" you asked, your voice laced with genuine concern, though your eyes were dancing.
Slowly, Chan lifted his head.
He didn't look embarrassed.
He didn't look frustrated.
He looked ecstatic.
He looked up at you, his hair a chaotic mess, a smudge of gym dust on his cheek. That same, dopey, lovestruck grin plastered across his face. He looked like he had just reclaimed a belt, instead of falling over his own feet. "I'm great!" he chirped, his voice a pitch higher than usual. He didn't even try to get up immediately; he just beamed up at you from the floor, "I'm fantastic. Hi. You're here."
Behind you, the peanut gallery finally broke.
"I can't believe it," Changbin whispered, his voice dripping with a mixture of disbelief and genuine disgust. "He's actually broken.”
Hyunjin shook his head, “The Wolf of the Ring reduced to a golden retriever with a concussion."
Minho covered his mouth with his hand, but his shoulders were shaking. "It's nauseating. It's physically repulsive. Look at him.”
Jeongin scoffed in disbelief, “He’s practically wagging a tail. He just took a dive that would have embarrassed a toddler, and he's smiling."
"Is he... is he actually winning her over by being a complete pabo?" Jisung asked, squinting in confusion. "Because if that's the strategy, I'm changing my entire approach to dating."
Felix sighed, shaking his head. "He's gone. We've lost him. There's no coming back from this level of simping."
Chan didn't hear them—He simply rolled over on to his back, looking up at her, "You look really pretty today.”
You chuckled, “Thank you, ready for lunch?” Chan’s smile grew—If that was possible, he lifted himself up in a sit-up before he jumped to his feet.
a/n: we're back at the gym!! much love from the 3RACHA Gym Fam to youuu!! apologies if i misrepresented the group and the members. I hope you all enjoy this mini series for Bang Chan in this Boxer AU. the other members will be mentioned but they won’t be ‘Stray Kids.’ this is a work of fiction.
For the past few years now, there’s been a long running joke amongst your boyfriends and stays alike. Something lighthearted, nothing that needed to be taken too seriously. Since the introduction of Skzoo, a lot of stays adored them. Almost every member had one… well except for you that is.
On the technical side, you have one but it’s not official. Unlike your boyfriends who each have an animal representing their mascot, yours was a star. When stays saw this, the feedback that they gave about it was mixed. Some loved it, some were neutral about it, and others really disliked it.
They thought it didn’t match the theme and how it was unfair that you were the only one without an animal mascot. At the time, you didn’t really care much about it. But as the years went on, this itch for you to get an animal mascot grew significantly. So much so that there have been countless posts and forms petitioning the company to give you an animal mascot.
“Wow?” Hyunjin said nonchalantly as you turned to face him.
“What?” You asked, setting your phone aside to look at his.
“I guess stays really want you to have Skzoo too, just look at the amount of hashtags?” He turned his phone over for you to look.
“That’s triple the amount from last year.” Jisung exclaimed, leaning on the sofa’s back rest.
“Does it really matter though? I’m fine with just having a star.” You shrugged.
“Why not? I think it’ll be cute?” Felix said entering the room.
“I guess? But what kind of animal mascot would I have?”
This had all of them thinking.
“You know what this calls for?” Changbin excitedly questioned.
“What?”
“A trip to the zoo!”
And that’s how you found yourself at the zoo with your eight boyfriends looking around the place to find the perfect animal mascot.
“Hmmm how about a peacock?”
“We already have BbokAri as a bird mascot.”
“Then a tiger?”
“I don’t think that would fit well with the rest of the Skzoo.”
“Let’s keep looking then.” Chan said, venturing further into the zoo.
It became an exhaustive search as every animal suggested to you was rejected. None of them felt right nor did you think they fit in with the rest of the skzoo. And that’s when you entered the otter section.
“Ahhhh! So cute!”
“I think we found the right mascot?” Chan chuckles, admiring how excited you look at the otters playing and cuddling with one another.

It wasn’t on purpose; to be honest, you and Bang Chan had a system that kept you as far apart as possible. The guys would handle pick up and drop off, this way you never had to really see each other or talk. Both of you could live your lives pretty easily without the other.
So, when Jennie brought up the idea of going to the carnival you were thrilled. Until you seen him there, standing at the concession stand grabbing food. Jennie practically runs off to her father, leaving you standing there, motionless, frozen in time, internally freaking out amidst the crowd.
Chan looks down seeing his daughter, head darting up, instantly finding yours. Your eyes meet, oh how those brown eyes drew you in every single time. He looks back down to his daughter and you can’t move; Chan can see the fear in your eyes; on your face. He offers you a smile before a woman comes up to him and kisses his cheek.
Your legs have a mind of their own as they carry you over to him to grab your daughter.
“Jennie, we need to go.”
“Good to see you, y/n,” Chan smiles awkwardly. You offer a tight-lipped smile and your eyes float over to the woman.
“Who’s this,”
“Ji-yun,” your daughter sneers. She’s arrogant, high maintenance and someone you can just tell is smooth and cunning.
“Nice to meet you.” You smile before turning to your daughter, “Jennie, let’s go,” you say as you start to drag her off, only to bump into Han and Changbin.
“Y/n!” Han yells as he embraces you tightly. You smile and hug him back.
“Hannie, Binnie!” Jennie yells as she hugs them.
“Hey, guys.”
“We didn’t know you’d be here!” Changin pipes up.
“Yeah, well Jennie begged to go to the fair so,” you shrug as you brush some hair out of her face.
“Can we go play some games?” She asks Changbin. He looks to you and you nod.
“Yeah, sure, I need to sit down for a minute anyway.” You smile politely, feeling two pairs of eyes burning holes into your back.
“I’ll join you,” Han smiles and walks with you to a bench out of sight from ‘Cruella’ and Chan.
“So, how are you? Ya know, seeing him here and all,” Han asks plainly.
“It’s a shock, I had no idea he’d be here, and with a woman but that’s good. He moved on from our divorce and it’s a good thing.
“She’s a bitch ya know,” Han says before licking his ice cream cone.
“What?” you snicker.
“She’s desperate for his money, his fame, wants to ride on his coat tails basically.” He explains. You nod in understanding, unsure of what to say.
-
“Binnie, you gotta help me! I need mom to get on that ferris wheel with dad!” she says.
“Jennie,” Changbin says as he pays the host of the bottle game. He’s given three balls and expertly knocks down all the stacked bottles.
“Changbin,” she whines. This captures his attention once he selects a pink bunny for the child to have.
“I’m serious. You know she talks to me like I’m stupid, and acts like I’m some kind of pest. They can’t get married.” She complains. Changbin has heard the stories, during the multiple drop offs to her mother’s house.
“Ok, I’m not saying you’re wrong, but how are we supposed to do this.”
“Come on, let’s find Han and mom,” she says and grabs his hand, pulling the muscle man through the crowd.
-
Jennie and Changbin come into view, both looking excited.
“Mom, I want to ride the Ferris wheel.”
“There’s no way I’m getting up there, Jennie, I hate heights.”
“Just stand with me in line. Please, mom!” She begs and clasps her hands together. You sigh.
“All right, but you need an adult to ride with you.”
“Han will go with me,” she smiles. The chipmunk cheeked boy looks at her, cheeks stuffed and eyes wide.
“What,” he says with a mouth full. You giggle as he looks between the three of you.
“Come on, Han it won’t be that bad.” Jennie says before she’s pulling the two of you up and out of your seats.
Changbin jogs off to find Chan.
Step one is complete.
-
You, Han and Jennie are waiting in line when Jennie acts as if she has to use the bathroom.
“Come on I seen a bathroom back here,”
“No, hold my spot, I’ll be right back.”
“You can’t go alone,” you start and Jennie grabs Han’s hand and pulls him away, almost causing him to fall. You look at the large contraption, realizing you’re next in line.
“Jennie I swear I’m not riding this stupid thing,” you mumble to yourself.
The sound of the wheel turning hits your ears, your stomach turning with it.
The last car comes around and the man motions you forward.
“Oh, no I’m not,”
“Keep the line moving!” Someone shouts behind you, causing you to whine internally. You take a shaky step forward and step into the cart, only to see Chan coming in behind you, his fiancé folding her arms with a sour look on her face.
Chan sits beside you, a small smile on his face as the bar is latched and the machine beings to move.
You grip onto his thigh, nails digging in as you close your eyes, feeling the wheel move you around.
“You’re safe,” he whispers taking your hand. You take a few shaky breaths.
“Y/n, open your eyes, it’s ok.” He says as the wheel stops. You slowly do, but your eyes quickly go wide.
“What the fuck, no no no no no no,” you say as your heart starts to beat erratically.
“Hey, woah calm down. I’m here with you.” He says kindly.
“Chan, you’re not helping.”
“Take a few deep breaths. You’re going to be ok.”
“Chan please just stop talking.” You say trying to sound nice. You hear him chuckle.
“What the hell is funny about this.”
“You don’t remember our first date, do you?” he says, more laughter following. The memories flood your mind all too vividly.
“Why the hell are you even here?”
“Binnie said Jennie wanted to ride the Ferris wheel, and I knew you didn’t like heights. Just like our first date, where we got stuck at the top of the ferris wheel… like we are now,” he motions and you open your eyes again, heart still beating erratically.
“I remember, I hated it then too.” You look over at Chan who’s looking at you, something soft and unreadable in his eyes.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you mumble, face turning pink.
“Like what?” he asks, body leaning slightly toward you.
“Like,” you sigh, “Like there’s something here,”
“What do you mean?”
“Chan, we haven’t seen each other in a long time,”
“Yeah, I know,” he frowns.
“What’s that look for?”
“Huh, what look?” he tries to play it off.
“That look you just gave me.”
“I didn’t give you any kind of look.” He brushes off, obvious overcompensation in his voice.
“Whatever, why the heck aren’t we moving.” Chan pulls out his phone, rocking the cart slightly, causing you to cling to him, faces inches from each other. Your eyes meet in a moment fueled with tension.
He opens his phone, both of you reading the text.
“Ride’s stuck, they’ll get you down as soon as they can.” Your head falls against Chan’s shoulder.
“You have got to be kidding me,” you groan.
“I’m not gonna let anything happen to you,” he says quietly in your ear; a protective yet hesitant arm coming around you.
“Your fiancé would be pissed,” you sign in his ear, a small giggle leaving your mouth.
“I’m not doing anything inappropriate.” He whispers as you pick up your head, your eyes meeting.
You flit your eyes down to his lips, taking your bottom lip between your teeth for a moment. You notice his flit yours, and as if the world was cheering you on, you lean into one another, lips connecting in a soft kiss. The world disappears, the height, the carnival, all of it is gone, in this moment it’s just you and Bang Chan.
Your lips separate, a weighty feeling hanging over you.
“Come to my place for dinner on Saturday, Jennie can stay the night, I, I’ll make us dinner.” He whispers, voice desperate for you.
“Chan,” you mumble, unsure of your next words.
“Please,” he begs, “This whole not seeing each other thing is stupid, you’re the mother of my child, the love of,” he stops himself as the words tumble out too fast. Your breath hitches in your throat.
You open your mouth to speak, only for the ride to creak and begin moving. The two of you stare at each other the whole way down; taking a few seconds too long to get out of the cart.
“Channie!” Ji-yun’s voice calls out; breaking the two of you out of your trance. Before anything else can happen, Chan is being pulled from the cart, looking after you apologetically.
Once he disappears you see your daughter, a guilty looking Han and a Changbin standing there awkwardly.
“Jennie Bahng,” you begin as you walk toward her. She smiles nervously as the other boys say a quick goodbye and become scarce.
-
That Saturday Chris is in the kitchen making dinner when the door bell rings. He wipes his hand with the cloth and quickly makes his way to the door.
“Hey, you made it!” he smiles as Jennie hugs his waist. You smile, walking in past him.
“Smells delicious, what are you making.”
“You’re favorite,” he smiles sheepishly.
“You didn’t have to,” you begin and his hand comes up to stop you.
“I know, I wanted to.” You smile, the simple gesture warming your heart. Jennie runs off to her room, leaving you and Chan in the kitchen. You sit up on the counter, watching him cook, something about the scene taking you back to the year before your child was born. When life was simple, and all you needed was each other. Before the fame took over his life, before your business was off the ground and running. Before life became busy and a husband and a kid became too much to manage at once along with the jobs and busy schedules.
“So, how’s the wedding gown business treating you?”
“It’s wonderful, my designs are seen on bride’s worldwide if you can believe that.” You smirk proudly.
“Of course I can. I always knew you’d make it.” He smiles as he walks over to you, both arms on either side of the counter as he looks up at you.
“You always had a way with fashion and colors. The way you could see things put together before they were, it was beautiful.” He smiles fondly. You give him a tight-lipped smile.
“Thank you,” you say quietly, his eyes soft and breathtaking all at once. Chan hangs his head before pushing himself off the counter.
The three of you eat dinner, talking about your week and making small talk.
It’s not long after dinner that Chan sends Jennie to her room for bed.
“You um, you want a drink?” he asks as he points to the wine cellar downstairs.
“I should get going, really. It’s a bit of a drive.” You try to make the excuse.
“It’s late, you should just stay,” he says quietly pulling you into him, the living room feeling small despite its larger size.
“Chan,” you whisper with a small smile playing on your lips.
“It’s late, dangerous on the roads. You can go home in the morning.” He convinces you. With a sigh you follow him down to the cellar, and you smile fondly once again at the memories.
“You remember when we got this? I flew you out to Paris to see our show, and you had to have a bottle of wine to commemorate it.”
“You wanted it just as bad as I did,” you muse.
“Touche,” he smiles with a slight chuckle. The two of you stand in comfortable silence, the moment between you resting.
“I’ve missed you,” he mumbles. You inhale a stuttered breath as he sets the bottle down.
“This whole thing,” he says as he approaches you, the soft lighting making the scenery feel more romantic and intimate.
“It’s,” you interrupt him.
“What we agreed on after I left. Chan we divorced because life was too much. Trying to take care of each other, our daughter and our jobs, our livelihood, it was all just too taxing. Neither of us had made it, we didn’t have the time.” You say as you feel tears well up.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers as he cups your cheek, watching a tear escape your eyes.
“Y/n, I’m so sorry.” He says again and comes closer, both hands now on your face as he leans down, connecting your lips. Your hands flex, part of you knowing it’s wrong, it could never work, but part of you desire’s to give in, to let him have you. To let him make it up to you, but you know in your heart you can’t.
“Chan,” you say against his lips as he attempts to deepen the kiss.
“I should go.” You whisper.
“No, please, stay. I didn’t fight for you then, I let you walk away, I’m not doing that again.”
“Chan,” you say, a painful smile on your lips as your heart aches, the pain visible in your eyes.
“Y/n please,” he rasps. You take his left hand, pulling it up to his face, tapping the gold band.
“I need to go,” you whisper again. He looks at you like he’s lost, like he’s defeated.
“I’ll pick Jennie up in the morning.” You step aside and make your way to the steps.
“Wait, just take my room and drive home tomorrow. I’ll sleep on the couch.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, being in the same house with you,” you pause for a moment, “’s too tempting,” you say before making your way up the steps. And into your car.
-
You’re dropping Jennie off a few weekends later when Chan stops you.
“Ya know, I’m taking Jennie camping next weekend, you should come. You used to love our camping trips.”
“Oh um, I don’t know about that.”
“Mom, please,” Jennie begs.
“It’ll be just like old times,” she says and you look at Chan who’s got the same pleading eyes, but not as dramatic.
“I- yeah ok. I’ll go,” you smile as your daughter hugs your waist. She grins up at you like she’s won the lottery. You on the other hand, are a nervous wreck.
-
The ride to the camp out is silent, both you and Chan on edge, especially after Jennie insisted she get her own tent, and insisted she was old enough to sleep alone. Chan offered to let you stay in his tent, siding with his daughter saying independence was a good thing for her.
Arriving at the sight the three of you get out and hike to your camp sight right by the river.
“It’s so beautiful out here,” you say as you stare out at the water and Chan comes up behind you.
“Yeah, the view is great,” he says never taking his eyes off you. You glance at him, then down to his hand and you notice he isn’t wearing his band. You look at him inquisitively.
“When I said I wasn’t letting you walk away without a fight again, I meant it.” He whispers before turning back and walking over to your daughter.
-
That night the fire is going, the frogs are croaking and the three of you are cozied up roasting marshmallows. The silence is easy, calm, familiar. Years of your different camping trips come to mind as the night progresses, the way Jennie grew up through out each year, and how Chan decided to bring you back to the place you all were really last happy.
“I’m going to bed,” your daughter yawns.
“Goodnight,” she says and kisses both of your cheeks before turning in.
“Goodnight,” you both call back to her. You watch as she disappears into her tent.
“Another marshmallow?” he asks.
“Why here?” your voice is desperate, emotional, eyes staring at the flames.
“What?” Chan asks as he puts the marshmallow down.
“Why did you bring us here? I mean, Chan we could have gone anywhere. But here,” you sigh and rub your temple.
“We were always happiest here.” He says quietly, his own eyes staring into the firepit.
“Even if we weren’t at home, here things were ok. We just had to be together. No pressure from life or jobs. Just us.” He says as he reaches for your hand. You let him hold it, the tension between you palpable.
“What do you want from me? Another chance? How’s that gonna work with our schedules, Chan?” Your voice is irritated, not at him, but at life. It tore you apart the first time and it’s as if he doesn’t remember how painful it was; and worse you hate how bad you want it too.
“We can figure it out, you’re established now, so am I, we have more leeway with our schedules, we can make it work I know we can, we just have to try.” He assures you.
“Chan we can’t. We tried.”
“Things were different then. Just,” he sighs, “Tell me you don’t feel anything for me. Tell me not to kiss you and I won’t.” he swears. You open your mouth but no words come out.
“I’m going to bed.” You whisper before getting up and slowly walking to your shared tent.
You stop just short of the tent and look back at him.
“I never said no,” you unzip the tent. The realization hitting Bang Chan of what you said and he quickly puts out the fire, running after you into the tent.
He practically tackles you, causing you to giggle as he cups your face, looking between your eyes.
“This is ok?” he asks once more, forehead resting on yours.
“Yeah,” you whisper and his lips crash into yours. Soft moans escaping the both of you.
“I couldn’t stop thinking about you,” he says against your lips. Your hands tangle in his hair, the moment charged with absolute zeal and lust. The kiss turns heated, needy, desperate as tongues clash together, teeth knock into each other gently, and lips become kiss swollen. He starts to leave a trail of kisses on your jaw down to your neck, his hand going between your thighs automatically.
“Wait,” you say as your head starts to spin. Chan backs off immediately, worry etched into his face.
“What’d I do?” he asks quickly.
“Nothing, I just, I just wanna be close to you right now,” you say as you pull him down beside you. He smiles as his shoulders relax, letting the tension go.
“So about Ji-yun,” you begin as you lay beside one another.
“Who? Ji who? Never heard of her.” He smiles.
“You really broke up with her?”
Chan nods, “After seeing you, y/n, she wasn’t it. You were. You are. You’re what I want. You’re who I want to do life with. I know it’s not always going to be easy, but, I just can’t let you go.”
You smile at his words before kissing his lips again deeply.
“Then don’t.” you say as you pull away and snuggle up into him.
-
The three of you return home after the camping trip, the air of your changed relationship hard to miss. Especially with your daughter. She notices the stolen glances, the way your hands find each other on the console of the car. The way when Chan needs to shift gears your hands don’t separate. How the air in the car is no longer tense, but new; happy.
Jennie can’t help but smile, and text her uncle Han and Changbin that the plan is working.
-
Six months later, you and Chan are out for a date night. You’d been staying the night at his place almost as much as you did at your own, if not more. The three of you were really starting to look like a family put back together, and tonight Chan knew it was time.
You’re sitting at the restaurant, both of you dressed to the nines, and as you finish your meal, Chan takes your hand gazing into your eyes lovingly.
“What’s going on?” you smile. Chan takes a deep breath and moves to the floor, positioning himself on one knee.
“Y/n, it’s always been you. From the day we met I knew I would marry you, I knew I’d never love anyone else the way I love you and I haven’t. I love you more than words can say, will you marry me?” he asks gently and the sting behind your eyes signals tears.
“Oh, Channie,” you smile, “Yes!” you smile and he slips the ring on your finger. Standing up you hug him tight before both of you find yourselves kissing each other amidst the applause of the restaurant.
-
“Mom, look what I drew!” Jennie says bouncing into the living room one evening.
“Oh Jennie, it’s gorgeous! Chan! Come here!” you call out from the couch. He runs in, sweaty from his workout.
“What’s wrong!” You chuckle at his frantic voice.
“Nothing, look at this, your daughter designed her own dress.” You smile as you show him.
“Wow,” he takes the sketch in his hands, “Jennie this is amazing. Simply beautiful!”
“Do you really like it?” she asks.
“I love it, in fact I’ll show it to my team first thing Monday.” You smile and your daughter beams at you.
That Monday you show your team and they get right to work, creating the one-of-a-kind dress, specifically in your size.
“It’s beautiful,” you smile as you look at the finished product two weeks later.
“She’s going to be so surprised.” You squeal.
Later that evening you have Chan drop your daughter off at the shop.
“What’s going on?”
“I want you to be the first to see the dress I’ve picked.”
“You already picked it?” Your daughter asks sounding a little disappointed.
“I have, and trust me, you helped.” You wink at her as you are swiftly taken behind a curtain. You change into the dress before walking out and your daughter’s mouth falls open.
“That’s my- that’s my design,” she says shocked.
“It is,” you giggle as she runs to you and inspects the dress.”
“Is it what you envisioned?”
“It’s perfect, everything I wanted,” she smiles and you chuckle at her excitement.
“Think your father will like it?”
“If he doesn’t, I’ll slap him because his eyes must be crossed.” She says confidently. You let out a real laugh as you smile down at her, pride for your daughter’s creation strong in your heart.
-
The day of the wedding finally comes, you change into the dress your daughter designed, complete with a veil and walk out onto the beach, your closest friends and family in attendance. Han wipes a few tears away as he watches you walk down the aisle, Felix gives you a thumbs up and Changbin smiles happily at you. I.N and Seungmin have content looks on their faces, ones of approval and acceptance, and Hyunjin blows you a sweet kiss mouthing to you that you look beautiful.
You smile as you walk up next to Chan dressed in his suit.
“We are gathered here today to witness the union, or should I say reunifying, of y/n l/n and Christopher Bahng in holy matrimony.”
“Do you, y/n take Christopher Bahng to be your lawful wedded husband?”
“I do,” you smile as you place the ring on his finger.
“Do you, Christopher Bahng take y/n l/n to be your lawful wedded wife?”
“I do,” he answers and puts the ring on your finger.
“Then by the power invested in me, I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.” The priest announces and Chan dramatically dips you in front of everyone, planting a sweet devoted kiss on your lips.

"Stupid Tornado Sirens"
Tags: mildly angst, storms, temporary scare, polyamory, established relationship
Summary: When you're home to visit your family (in Tornado Alley), you get woken up by the tornado sirens. What better way to spend your time now that you're up than by texting your boyfriends?
It was a Saturday morning, and you were lying on a blanket in the garden of your massive home. You were pretending to read a book while secretly watching your husband tend to the roses.
You and Christopher had been married for a year. It was an arranged marriage between your families. You were the daughter of his parents' business partners, and he was an independent, successful CEO in the field of artificial intelligence—though he still obeyed his parents. So when they told him he had to get married, he didn't refuse.
Christopher was a distant man. He respected you and was a gentleman, but he didn't try to get very close. He was a man of few words, and you found yourself struggling to break through his shell, even after a year. You were certain much of it stemmed from your age gap; after all, you were 19 and he was 31 when you married. A year later, you were still trying to break down his emotional walls. You even slept together on very rare occasions when you pushed hard enough, but you wanted him to take the initiative. The funny thing was that on those nights, he always seemed to enjoy it just as much as you did.
He was facing away from you, pruning the roses and pulling weeds from the soil. You smiled as you watched his strong, muscular arms flex with every movement he made.
"Do you need something?" he asked in a measured tone. "I can feel you staring at me."
"I have the right to look at my husband," you replied, your voice laced with laughter. You loved flirting with him and teasing him. As usual, he didn't answer. You huffed in frustration.
In the first few months, this used to make you feel insecure. How could a handsome, intelligent, wealthy, tall, muscular, and healthy man not feel attracted to his own wife? Sure, it was an arranged marriage, but he could at least approach you casually. Didn't all men do that? So you assumed it was your age, and that thought unsettled you. For a while, you monitored his outings, followed him to work, showed up unexpectedly at his company, and glued yourself to his side like a leech at every work or social event he attended. You even installed a GPS in his car, hacked into his personal computer, and snoop through his phone. Yet you never found a thing. He was always clean, completely free of suspicion. The man was simply cold; even when other women hit on him, he gave them nothing. That was just who he was.
You went back to watching him and noticed how sweaty he was. The white tank top clung to his skin, making you swallow hard. After all, you were just a young woman full of desire for her own husband. Shaking your head to scatter those thoughts, you turned to the cooler you had brought along, poured a glass of water, and walked over to him.
"Here, you must be thirsty." He looked up and met your gaze. His dark, ever-watchful eyes locked onto yours with intense depth.
"Thank you." He took the glass and drank it in large gulps before handing it back, his gaze returning to the roses.
You sat back down on the spread-out towel, this time setting the book completely aside to focus on him. You were fascinated by your husband, and it felt a bit silly to admit because he was your first man. Sure, back in school you had flirted and kissed a few boys, but it was all innocent and harmless. Christopher Bangchan, on the other hand, was a real man. His body was far more developed than a teenager's—more muscle, more density. His face was stunning and sharp, with a prominent, remarkably striking nose that suited his features perfectly. A handsome mouth with full lips that, whenever he kissed you, completely unsettled your soul. Massive hands capable of effortlessly cupping your full breasts. Everything about him was large, warm, and welcoming—so different from his quiet personality. You remembered how, the first time you slept together, you nearly cried begging for it. He had been a complete gentleman, and it was the best experience you'd ever had. As time went on, you only grew greedier, and you were well within your rights. In the eyes of both human law and God, this man belonged to you.
"You should head inside," he said, breaking your train of thought. "The sun is getting hotter."
"What about you?" As always, he was attentive.
"I'll be in in a few minutes. Go ahead."
"I'll draw a bath for you, okay?"
He didn't answer, simply nodding his head.
That was another strange thing about the two of you: despite the distance he kept, you were still intimate in a way. You slept in the same room, shared the same bed, and sometimes bathed or walked into the bathroom while the other was still in there without it being an issue. You were constantly semi-naked around each other. It was a kind of intimacy without closeness. Did such a thing even exist? Outside of the nights you spent together, he didn't touch you in a sexual way, yet he had no problem touching you whenever it was convenient in your day-to-day routine.
Your thoughts were a whirlwind as you went inside and headed upstairs to the master suite you shared. Without delay, you entered the bathroom and began filling the large tub. It was big enough for both of you, but you weren't going to bathe with him—not today, at least. You added his favorite bath salts and let the foam build up. A short while later, you heard movement in the bedroom, and soon he appeared at the bathroom door.
"It's ready for you," you told him softly.
He quickly undressed and stepped into the tub, closing his eyes for a moment as he leaned back.
"Thank you," he replied, his eyes still closed.
You smiled faintly and positioned yourself behind him so you could massage his neck and wash his hair. Without asking for permission, your hands touched his warm, wet skin. Chris tensed slightly at the sudden contact, but quickly relaxed.
"Let me take care of you," you whispered in his ear. "After all, I am your wife."
Wife. You loved that title. And you only loved it because he was the husband.
He took a deep breath.
"You're always taking care of me," he murmured. "It puzzles me a bit."
You made a shocked face that he couldn't see.
"Why would that surprise you?" Your curiosity and shock bled into your voice. "You're mine to take care of."
You heard him let out a soft huff.
"You're too young for this." He fell silent for a few minutes while you digested what he said, before he spoke up again. "Honestly, when my parents introduced us and I found out your age, I expected you to be much more spoiled and rebellious. Especially with your strange taste in fashion and style."
It was your turn to huff. You dressed in a style that hovered between goth and Lolita, constantly alternating between the two. It didn't help that your hair was pink. On the day you met him, you had been wearing a black and blue plaid dress with a tight corset that ended mid-thigh, sheer blue tights with bows, and black platform heels. Your parents might have been wealthy elites, but they had never stopped you from being yourself—as long as it didn't involve boys.
"I must have made quite an impression," you replied. "And now? What do you think of me?"
"To be honest, I keep waiting for you to rebel." A pause followed while you began massaging shampoo into his hair. "I agreed to marry you despite your age because of our parents; it felt inevitable. But I assumed you'd run off and find someone your own age, go out partying, or something like that. Instead, you stay home most of the time—studying, reading, writing, and, of course, blowing through my card with online shopping."
You laughed. You knew he didn't care; he was just teasing you. This was the longest conversation you had ever had on the subject. He rarely spoke much about it.
"I knew our age difference bothered you," you said calmly. "But I didn't realize you thought those things about me. I was never like that. My parents raised me very protectively, and I didn't really care for that lifestyle anyway. I like peace and quiet and doing my own thing."
He didn't reply. For a while, you simply washed his hair, massaging his scalp, and you thought the subject might have died.
Then came another deep sigh from him.
"What do you want from me, sweetheart?" Your breath hitched; he had never called you that before. "I've noticed over the past few weeks that you've been clingier, hovering around me more. You spent the whole morning staring at me without saying a word, and I don't understand why."
You felt like dunking his head under the bathwater and holding it there until he found some common sense. What a ridiculous question to ask.
"If you haven't realized it yet, I'm trying to get closer to you," you explained with a touch of exasperation. "We had our one-year anniversary last month, but you're still so distant. I want more affection, more tenderness, more sex. You respect me and take care of me, but you're always keeping your distance. I thought... I thought maybe you had someone else..."
"I have never cheated on you," he interrupted.
"I know that. But it's strange. I always heard that men have high sex drives, and you don't seem to fit that mold."
"I am not an animal," he said concisely. "You are too young for me."
"Well, you should have cared about that before marrying me. Now you are my husband, and I want you to play your part. The whole part—not just protector and provider."
Your voice carried a note of irritation. You might be younger, but you were 20 now. You were a married woman who managed the household and looked after her husband. Of course, it wasn't as if you did heavy labor—you had staff, and Chris was very independent—but you still took your responsibilities seriously.
"I actually expected you to have lovers," he finally said in a low voice, as though it were something he had given a lot of thought to. "I wouldn't stop you, of course. I'd just ask you to be careful, but..."
Fed up with his ridiculous reasoning, you tugged on his hair, making him grunt and cut himself off.
"Shut up, Christopher Bangchan, unless you're going to say something that actually makes sense!"
Realizing he had genuinely upset you, he caught your hand and swiftly, gently maneuvered you. Within seconds, you tumbled into the bath, landing right in his lap.
The truth was, Christopher didn't know what to do with you. He had always been a man of cool emotions. He had a few official girlfriends in the past, but they never lasted long. He had never felt grand passions; he liked those women, but it was lukewarm. Sex was pleasurable to him—he knew what he liked and sought it out—but it wasn't vital. He had accepted the arranged marriage because of all this. But the girl—the young woman they presented to him—turned out to be completely different from what he expected.
He had anticipated some resistance, some rebellion. He expected to act more like a guardian than a husband. He knew that if he didn't marry her, her parents would marry her off to someone else. Beyond losing the business deal between their families, he believed he could look after her better than most. Yet she proved to be sweet, gentle, and spirited. Even with her outfits full of lace, leather, and frills, her wild pink hair, and her habit of lighting incense in every corner of the house, she was a wonderful wife. She always wanted to know how he was doing, noticed the little things he liked or disliked, cooked for him sometimes, enjoyed washing his hair, and accompanied him without complaint to every social obligation. He noticed she could be possessive, and it had been a little stressful when she started tracking his every move, but whenever he was about to call her out on it, he held back. Christopher had always wondered why she did all that, but now he wondered if she had simply felt insecure because he wasn't giving her proper attention.
It was after that phase that he finally gave in to her advances and slept with her for the first time. And it had been incredible. Even though she was inexperienced, the eagerness and passion with which she surrendered herself made everything better. Over time, she loosened up and began exploring more. Still, he avoided it as much as possible, clinging to the belief that she deserved someone her own age.
Apparently, that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted him.
He let out a deep sigh and a quiet huff, feeling awkward and slightly embarrassed by the realization.
"I'm sorry, baby," he said softly, so quietly you barely would have heard him if you weren't so close. "I think I was so focused on what was best for you that I never bothered to ask what you actually wanted."
Your heart hammered against your chest at his words. You leaned down slightly and pressed a kiss to his wet neck.
"We're husband and wife, Chris," you whispered. "I want us to be like other couples. I like you... I like you a lot. Don't you like me too?"
Chris made a slight face. Talking about feelings was not something he was used to. He was fairly certain that, outside of his mother, he had never said those words to anyone.
Instead, he gathered your face in both hands and pressed a long kiss to your forehead. You closed your eyes and drank it in, even if you felt a tiny pang of disappointment at not getting a direct answer.
"I promise I'll try to be warmer with you," he finally said. "I know I work a lot and I'm not very affectionate, but I'll try—for you."
It was a promise he fully intended to keep. Even if she was far too young for him, in his mind, she was right. He was her husband; he had agreed to marry her, and now he needed to take full responsibility. And all this incredible, perplexing young woman wanted was him. Just him.
"Now let's leave this conversation for later," Chan said. "Take off your clothes and get in here with me."
You smiled and stood up with his help, slipping out of your wet clothes before settling right back onto his lap. This time, your whole body was submerged in the water, your back resting against his chest. You had done this only twice before, but this time felt different—you felt closer to him, more at ease.
The two of you stayed there in a comfortable silence. He was never one for many words, and you didn't mind moments like this. Gradually, his hands began to trace paths across your skin, and you felt his lips brush against your neck. You were so close that you could feel his chest rising and falling against your back. That intimate moment, combined with his suggestive touch, sent a sudden rush through you. You were growing so wet.
Bangchan noticed your restlessness and let out a faint smile against your skin. It had been a few weeks since you last came on to him. As usual, he had never pursued you, leaving the ball in your court. He used to think that initiating things, given his age, would feel like coercion, so he held back even when he wanted to. He had learned to wait eagerly for your moves. But perhaps, with this new perspective, that was about to change. You were beautiful and desirable; he loved every second spent between your thighs, even if a part of him used to lecture him for it. It was time to abandon those thoughts. You were an adult, and above all, his willing wife. He wasn't going to waste any more time.
Delicately, you felt Chan's hands slide up your thighs, moving toward your inner warmth. Eagerly, you parted your legs. He had never taken such an explicit first step before, and a small whimper escaped your lips.
"I've barely touched you and you're already so impatient," he murmured against your ear. You turned your head to look at him.
"It's been a while, you know!" you grumbled, pouting slightly. "Besides, I'm thrilled you actually initiated for once and saved me the chase. I just want to be the princess in this relationship—you were making things so difficult."
"Did I give my young little wife a hard time, then?" he teased, his voice still low right by your ear. "Forgive your husband, sweetheart. I just wanted you to be happy."
"Your cock makes me happy!" you blurted out, a bit testy and tired of the excuses. He laughed—a genuine, light laugh that you rarely ever heard from him.
"If my cock makes you happy, let me get you ready for it." Without delay, his fingers slid over your wet center. It was impossible to hold back your gasp.
Two of his fingers stroked your slick folds, alternating pressure between your clitoris and your pulsing entrance. You had to admit one thing: being so young left you with an insane libido. He didn't have to do much before you were trembling in his arms. When he finally sank two fingers inside you, your orgasm hit like a freight train. Your head fell back against his chest as the waves of pleasure washed over you.
He didn't stop moving, continuing to stroke through your climax. As your trembling subsided, he lifted your hips and lined himself up against you. Even with your fresh release, you were desperate to have him inside. Slowly, he slid in until you felt completely full and stretched around him, as you always did. The sensation of fullness was overwhelming.
"Fuck," he swore under his breath. "You have no idea how much I love being inside you," he confessed. "I know I was a bastard for making you work so hard just to be close to me, but you don't know how much I restrained myself. How hard I fought it. How difficult it was to have a gorgeous young woman sleeping right next to me every night—reaching for my arms when she thought I was asleep—and do nothing. I couldn't, I..."
"Shh," you cut off his self-flogging speech. "You not only can, you should. It doesn't matter how I dress, what I like to do when I'm alone, and especially not my age. I am your woman, and I love being your woman. I've always wanted you, and I always will. My body belongs to you too. I'm yours."
Suddenly, he turned your head and captured your mouth in an unprompted, deep kiss. Your lips were parted from speaking, allowing his tongue to slide easily inside. He kissed you with raw passion and surrender—an intense, consuming kiss that made your head spin. His hips began to drive into you again, faster this time. You lost your breath as he trailed kisses across your face and neck.
You held onto him tightly while he guided your hips to match his pace. He was finally taking you with real hunger. Every time with him had been wonderful, but this time carried a desperate edge that made it incomparably better.
"If you want to be mine," he grunted, "then you're going to be mine."
Bangchan felt completely out of control. Now that all that guilty caution and worry had finally dissolved, he couldn't hold back. He was throbbing hard, and your tight heat gripping his length felt incredible. He set a firm, steady rhythm, hitting every pleasure point he already knew by heart. Her soft gasps and quiet moans filling the bathroom drove him wild. The sound of their bodies together and the water splashing over the rim was music to his ears.
"Climax for me, baby," he whispered, licking the shell of her ear. "I want to see you unravel on your husband's cock."
You wriggled against him. Beyond the deep, precise rhythm of his thrusts, those words sent an electric thrill through you. It drove you wild. You simply loved hearing the word "husband" when he used it. It reminded you that you were married—that you were his.
"Channie," you whimpered as the pulsing deep inside you intensified, pleasure coiling tightly in your lower belly and spine. You just needed one final push, and as if reading your mind, his hand slid over your clitoris with firm, circular movements. It was your undoing.
Crying out and incoherent, you came hard. Your tight walls clamped down around him, and it was impossible for Chan not to spill himself deep inside you.
"Fuck!" he swore as the force of his own orgasm overtook him.
The two of you stayed still for a while, hearts pounding, breath ragged, as residual waves of pleasure rippled through your bodies. Eventually, you felt him pressing soft kisses against your neck, his breathing gradually slowing down.
"That was incredible, sweetheart," he rasped, his voice rough. "I'm not holding back anymore. Whenever you're willing, I'm going to want you." He gently nipped at your skin, tracing it with his tongue. "And I'll try to open up more, too... be more affectionate."
"Channie," your voice trembled with emotion. "You're good to me. You respect me, you're a gentleman, and you take care of me. That's affection in its own way. What I really want is more of the physical side—hugs, kisses, cuddling, sleeping wrapped around each other. Talking more would be nice, too. But I know that's just your quiet, reserved nature. I also love just spending hours watching you while you do your thing."
He chuckled, a bit embarrassed. You really did watch him a lot.
"Alright. I'll try to do more of all of that."
"That's all I ask."
