When I’m on the computer and my wife smells the baby’s diaper and says that she thinks he needs to be changed.

I’m like:

When I’m changing the baby’s diaper and have to flip him on to his back from his belly 25 times because he keeps rolling himself over, the moment where he stares at me prior to flipping back over to his belly for the 26th time.

It’s like:

When the baby’s fussing because he’s hungry 20 minutes after finishing his last meal and I have to interrupt my wife’s conversation with her friends to tell her that he needs to feed again.

After rubbing the baby’s back for a few minutes to help him fall asleep, when I step out of his room and right away hear the faintest cry on the other side of the door.

When at the very last second I remember the Christmas diapers my wife told me to pack but we’re already running late.

I’m like:

Whenever I get the baby down to sleep.

I envision the response being like:

[daddy-newbie]

When I change the baby’s poopy diaper and he’s still fussing five minutes later, and I check his diaper and find that he’s pooped again.
