Over the past few months, I have been setting a goal of only supporting cosmetics brands that are cruelty free and as a longer term goal, vegan. As our technology and standards have progressed, I believe that testing on animals is not a necessity for cosmetic companies. Recently it came to my attention that there is a Bill (the Humane Cosmetics Act) that would begin to put a permanent end to cosmetic animal testing. There is currently a petition that you can sign to support this bill. If this subject is as important to you as it is to me, I would encourage you to sign.
