Stede and Ed enjoying some leisure time, with tea, games, snacks, or simply having a nap. Or studying the not quite riveting, but informative book: "Knives, Forks, Spoons and Chopsticks - a history of the cutlery." Stede is of course not tired, just his eyelids are a bit heavy, and the chapter about snail forks has some lengths.

I am always late to every trend and holiday. But fortunately Pirate Otters don't care about Christian holidays. And Stede is simply in awe of that wonderful and thoughtful gift Ed made him. Ed knows that he has going to "find" more of these sparkly things, his mate loves to collect.

Breakfast in bed with the OtterBoys. Ed was trying something fanciful, without having a concept of what a fancy breakfast looks like. But Stede doesn't mind, and admires the efforts of his boyfriend.

Because I loved the Merstede scene so much, I had to do an OtterFlag version of it. Some people found the scene to be cringe and camp. But that's okay. I am cringe too.

For a commission I gave Aziraphale and Crowley the Otter treatment. So, there could be Good Otters now.

this is totally self promotion because I wrote the fic, and I do feel really weird sending this ask. but also I think this is just really lovely and magical timing, because I posted this yesterday and then a friend sent me your art today ✨

Thank You so much for sharing this beautiful fic with me! I just read it and really love your writing style and how you describe Ed's anguish in context with the sky at dawn. And then his ease and happiness in the twilight during sunrise. Very lovely written.

This is my first artwork of the year. And an art commission. The customer was so kind to give me free reign of the motives. And I wanted to do something pink with pirates in love. Which may be extra needed, given that Max just axed the third season.... For reasons, most likely only a severely corporate minded necktie will understand. So, I am stubborn, and will stay in the fandom. With more obnoxiously in love pirates. And more obnoxiously in love pirate otters.

Today is dedicated to Lucius and his fanart and his compulsion to put a pirate face on anything and everything.

The Piratenotters danced into the New Year. I thought it fitting, as in canon we were denied a dancing scene, due to a badly timed raid by Ned Lowe.

I hope you had all nice Holidays and you can go relaxed into the new year. And the most awful Christmas Imps didn't pay you a visit. They only paid half the attention to the concept of Christmas. The part of: You get stuff and eat a lot. Which is just like Pirating.

A commission for a very kind repeat customer, who wished for Zheng and Auntie as OtterFlag critters. I made Auntie a badger, just like Fang, as a hint that they are from the same background (in the show the Samoan heritage from David Fane and Anapela Polataivao is referenced). Zheng I keep a little riddle, but give a small hint: Never ever order coffee at her Noodle Soup Kitchen. If you would like a commission, just shoot me message. At the moment commissions are very welcome, because my tablet crapped out, and I had to replace it, which stung a bit financially.

Another commission for a happy client. This time modern day Lucius and Pete in human form. So, in case you are wondering, if I draw humans: yes, I do. Just not outright portraits. I did them in the past and was always awkward and anxious about them.

I think the crappy photo adds some nice cozy mood to the drawing. And also, poor Mr. Octopus! There simply wasn't enough room on the bed!

That's a combination of the prompts "Oceanwaves" and "Fancy meeting you here." I work with a modern AU, where Stede is running away to pursue a career as a classical dressage rider, and Ed is a custom bike builder and sculptor.

I am having a bit fun with Fluffvember. After all the drama in and around of Season 2, some Fluffart may be needed. Like Ed needing some reassurance for his costume choice, as he is about to shy away from his own "weird". He wanted to do something different for the Costume party, instead of the old Hardass Leather Daddy schtick from the last 20 years. But now is hit by his insecurities. And is very thankful for the reassurance and support by his weird little boyfriend.

Because there was some uproar about the Final episode of season 2, I decided to draw some fluffy feel good art with the Otterboys and Stoat Izzy.
