VICTOR

Victor Thwaite is my new D&D Level 1 character in our new campaign. We finished our old campaign which has been running since 2019 and now we are back to square one.

I immediately said I would play an old man, and when I was told it would be multiplanar, I jumped on Ravenloft.

WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT EXPLOSIONS

I recently ran a campaign based on Marvel comics using the system created by @dimension20official, Never Stop Blowing Up. I used a lot of comic book art for various tokens but there were some things I just needed to create myself.

So, from top left to bottom right: Zip Zephyr, with his bag of wind (a fairly recent Marvel villain if you're unfamiliar)/ the Thing in a bathrobe/ Otto Octavius in prison/ a couple of different forms of the Chameleon/ Kamala Khan, intern at Oscorp/ Raven the Hunter, Kraven's disguise after he fakes his death/ the Carnage Chameleon

New Adventure Zone season, Royale, is here. The all wizards party is Hellgrammite, Loravith and Rictus.

This was an thing I made for my Dungeons and Dragons group, and we learned pretty quickly that it was non-functional. But we laughed a lot, and it is pretty! Perhaps you are too young to know about Dream Phone, the popular 90s electronic board game where you phoned up boys using a fake phone, and recorded voices told you the gossip about who has a crush on you. An explanation, and a look at some of the cards I made, under the cut.

When I set out on this journey, I found that there are lots of things that Dream Phone lacks.

3. A doom track where you attract the attention of the 5 heads of Tiamat, who will crush you if all are summoned.

There's a load of in-jokes in here that I would struggle to describe, and it includes a number of PCs and NPCs from our own campaign., but I hope you get a kick out of it. Here are some of the cards I made - I went somewhere a little more 80s to 90s than the original.

BROTHERHOOD OF MUTANTS

Call this a companion piece to my X-men picture from last year. I've been reading a lot of X-Men recently and these are all fun guys.

I continue to show my self-hatred by making tall thin pictures, and having to split them in half to combat Tumblr's large image decompression machine.

Season's Greetings! This was fun - the launch of Marvel Rivals, although I will probably never play it, brought me back to Squirrel Girl. I did take some of the bits and pieces from the Rivals design; I liked the boots and the belt buckle.

I wanted to do a picture which wasn't some IP. Who are these guys? I don't know. You figure it out.

I wanted to do a little perspective work rather than just put people in a blank space, and I wanted to paint a little more.

DELICIOUS IN DUNGEON

I buy a lot of photo packages of people in poses. It's not worth it when there are so many online free resources where you can find poses BUT this time I found a lot of pictures of people falling. I enjoyed them very much so I made this picture.

This is really my first anime - it was not a thing for me as a kid, apart from Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! I don't have the shape skills to copy anime, and I didn't try. So please don't treat me too harshly if it comes out a little... y'know...

X-MEN

Call me a jumper on the bandwagon, but X-Men '97 has proved another way for big corporations to take advantage of my nostalgia. Hence I redrew and coloured my old X-Men sketch, making some alterations, putting in Morph and Bishop. redrawing some faces.

BIERS - WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR SHAPE

This one sort of came out of me. I think Biers only appears in a few of the Discworld books, but it's a fun setting.

Also, for the deep lore here, I know that the Igor in Biers is not AN Igor - I just wanted to draw one. But maybe Igor got himself an assistant who was an Igor. I'm sure it's not confusing.
