I am a changed woman after seeing the Jane and Lisbon angst in The Mentalist S6!!!! 😭💖

I want to preface this by saying sorry to Marcus Pike but I gotta be real. I love that it isn't a true love triangle. In a way it is but it really isn't at the end of the day. Pike didn't stand a chance. From the moment that Pike stepped on the scene all Jane had to do was say those magical words that he loved her and Lisbon would have tossed Pike aside in a moment and that's ultimately what happened. There was never a moment where she loved Pike even a fraction of how much she loves Jane. I love this about their dynamic. What does it say about me that I love seeing a cuckolded man think he has the love of a woman but really she's in love with another man, on television. I think there may be a sadistic streak in me but I love it lol

The performances are like none other. Simon Baker and Robin Tunney knocked this out of the park! It feels so real and there's just something about it where when you watch the performances, you feel the pain in your bones! The yearning, the pain, the jealousy!! The way that Lisbon wants Jane to tell her he loves her, wants him to tell her not to leave!! And the way he wants to say those words but is also so afraid of letting someone into his heart that he has guarded for so many years and also the way he wants her to be happy and thinks that Pike might be the one to do that!!! The tension is palpable in S6!! You could cut the tension, the lust, the yearning with a knife!!!
