(I should start of saing I do not mean it in any negative way, I am geniuenly confused on the matter)
There is something I wanted to ask people who have more knowledge on the matter.
Becouse I started watching dropout and i recently found out abt the controversies.
And I am very confused with an argument people seem to focus on that dropout is bad becouse "They don't hire enough trans woman" and only say that as their only argument????
And whats confusing to me is that, since when having someone be hired based on their phisical diversity or sexual atracrion important for the show to be good? I thought you picked the person whos personality would fit best in the cast/for the show?
Especialy since i thought people wanted to have a world where you dont have to tell people what do you have in your pants to be hired? Or your sexual atraction?
I noticed the same people just say "do your research on it" but, what research do they mean?
Wouldn't having that type of requirement exclude all trans people who dont want to be out as trans? Like a trans woman wanting to just be seen as a woman?
I am doing my research on the controversies to get more knowledge but that one i am confused on.
And I very much could be misinformed, and since I couldnt find anything by myself I hoped someone could explain it to me.
(And I hope i didn't write it sounding bad or rude in any way. I have nothing against any group of people. I myself am on the spectrum of asexuality and aromanticify.
