I legit do not understand why people liked Stormfront before episode 3. Considering she blatantly victim-shamed Starlight for being sexually abused.
She was never likable.

I'm garbage.
I feel like Simon could be redeemed but it would take way too more than seasons of the series. Just... years and years of therapy at best, and even then, he probably wouldn't be able to be around people at first.
Same. By the end of episode 9 he’s too far gone imo. He wouldn’t accept help. I don’t think he’d be unhealable, but it’d take legit years and years.
I still think only Samantha could get to him, and only by making a big sacrifice or risk for his life. Sth that would reput him into the original situation that made him hate nulls and reopen his wounds and let them heal properly this time
I do think tho, that him becoming outright murderous towards Grace is a bit of a jump. He just kinda completely loses any care?? Even tho he always cared about Grace?? I feel like his descendance into madness was more so driven by the plot necessity to finish it all in 2 episodes than natural progression
The kid needed a catharsis for all pent up rage and pain and hatred he felt. A physical brawl until he’s so exhausted he lets it all out?? To get punched a few times until he’s so physically exhausted all his steam is gone and he finally can think straight. Sometimes for ppl like this, the best way to stop and think is to get to the bottom first
Honestly, it could’ve all been prevented if he either never got on the Train, or the Cat actually came back and tried to make amends since the start before the problems got too deep in the first place
Getting stuck in his own Tape could also be useful for a change
I like to think that was a spur of the moment due to the adrenaline and the fact that he wasnt in his right mind.
The fact that he was a mess afterwards showed that this was him being impulsive.
Tumblr: Accusing each other that if you like/dislike a character then you're racist or hate neurodivergent people. Because that's easier than having an actual argument.
Me:
Before episode 9 and 10 I was wondering if Simon would be willing to wheel Hazel at some point.
But now I’m certain that he would.
Simon was more far gone than I was expecting, I thought there could be some salvation, but his flaws had a stronger grasp on him than I initially thought.
No amount of seasons would fix his head, it would takes YEARS of therapy for him to even think straight anymore.
He tried to get his friend in a vegetative state first, and THEN tried to straight up murder her.
Simon is not evil, but he was far too lost for this to be solved right away.
Infinity Train said "imagine that if in the finale of ATLA Azula has her complete mental breakdown and then is mauled to death by a platypus bear."
"Oh and its rated Y-7"
Man... I feel bad for the cat.
So many emotions in less then 10 seconds.
I really like Simon, but understand his final fate :,)
I really wanted him to join Amelia, in a jadded buddy train duo. But alas, was not meant to be
I know people are shook over the ending.
But can we at least be proud of Hazel for ditching those two goobers?
She saw the danger on tagging along with those crazy teens and went like NOPE!
She's the smartest person on that train.
I'm so done with the She-ra: Princesses Of Power fanbase!
I'm so done with them spreading stuff that hasn't been said over a convention.
I'm so done with them throwing hate at one another over stupid ships.
I'm so done over the hatred people have for one another.
I'm so done with the racism, ableism, and overall nastiness of this fanbase.
I'm. SO. DONE. WITH THIS TOXICITY.
It's not worth it, it's just not!
It's a show about love and equality and forgiveness and it has the most vile fanbase I've seen.
I'm done!
book 3′s theme of growing up vs escapism, and what that says about grace and simon’s fates
infinity train book 3 is as much about empathy and morality as it is about maturity. grace and simon deal with the same obstacles in very different ways, and with the last 2 episodes coming out soon, i wanna make an analysis of what we’ve seen so far, and how that might correlate to the ending of each of their arcs. this is gonna be a LOOOOONG post.
Continuar lendo
TAG YOUR SPOILERS PEOPLE!!!!
It's really not that hard. Just Tag it Infinity Train Spoilers.
Honestly I'm wondering what you guys think about this:
Would Simon be capable of wheeling Hazel?
This is not a hate post for Simon nor is it a praising one, I'm genuinely curious what people think what he's capable of, and how deep does his hatred of Nulls runs.
Even if he thinks that Nulls are nothing, I assume he would still hesitate wouldn't he? Even if Hazel isn't a human kid, she still acts like one, I can't imagine someone be so cold-blooded as to kill someone like that without any hesitation, unless they were a psycho, which I don't think Simon is.
Grace has killed denizens, confirmed
Simon has killed denizens, confirmed
Most Apex kids assaulted and killed denizens, confirmed
None of them are innocent, so if murder is what pisses you off, first two of them are equally bad in this unless you think Tuba is somehow more important than a denizen #12444 they wheeled out of boredom last week
Amelia is implied to have harmed or killed denizens and attempted to murder a child, confirmed
The Cat left a kid to die and never came back, confirmed
Amelia is implied by the Cat to do even worse and the Cat herself has done some questionable things herself
None of these characters are innocent and y’all better remember it and face th facts, instead of pretending that it didn’t happen. And if you do, you legit either don’t know or ignore the facts cuz it suits your preferences and just being self-contradictory, illogical and show double standards
@ sardonicallytired
But Tuba ISN’T more important than the rest of denizens just cuz people got attached to her, that’s the point. If we talk about the issue being murder, then it’s not exactly fair/justice-y to somehow value her more than other denizens cuz of personal biases. What did those Light people in the first episode did to deserve to be wheeled? Why do they matter less?? Why aren’t people upset about them if the issue is Murder Is Bad? I mean, besides the obvious personal attachement
Yeah, sure, personally it can make people more or less upset, but logically and if we want to be fair, no, there isn’t that big of a difference and it’s kinda unfair to treat their death as less
I guess my issue is, why people DON’T care about other denizens wheeled by Apex and Grace? Why don’t they matter? Why Grace gets away with murder and assault of denizens (including Lake) and Amelia gets away with doing man knows what and trying to murder Tulip?? Cuz it seems to me that it’s less about justice and murder-is-bad and fairness and more about personal revenge and that… strangely makes Simon-haters kinda similiar to Simon lol
I'm not saying they're innocent. I'm saying that Grace have more chance for change than Simon has.
Grace is a person who adapts to her surroundings, the kind of person who knows what to say to any person because she's capable of shifting with the situation she's in. So she's more prone to change and have a greater capacity to live and learn with her experiences.
Simon is a stickler, inflexible, the kind of person that when he gets a point of view, he'll stand by it regardless of merit or things pointing the contrary. He's an emotional person who can't change as easily as Grace, because his trauma and stubborn nature makes him incapable to go beyond what he is, at least for now.
That's why a lot of people like Grace and not as much Simon despite both have done terrible things.
Grace displayed the capacity for change. Simon didn't.
It's like Zuko and Azula in a way, Zuko is capable of self-reflection and change, Azula is too trapped by her own insecurities and misgivings to even consider changing.
That's why I don't find it TOO unreasonable to like Grace more.

The fact that people are claiming that Oda "Betrayed them" due to the fact that Robin is touching Franky's face in the color spread gives me so much power.
HOW DARE YOU ODA!!!!
Simon: We look so much like a couple here hahahaha
Grace: a couple of bestiesss
