Like who are we kidding here, half the reason Steve was happily surprised (and later on increasingly worried) was because he never expected to win. He and Danny indulged in a little something something and were running late. So Steve of course thought Chin already won but they arrived to find an empty office...  It’s like a double win for him...

So this is from the fic that I’ve been calling Dead!Steve fic, which is basically a long character piece about how Danny would cope with Steve’s death when their UST has never been well resolved before death…

Danny wants nothing of it but he can’t even refuse it. Just like the flag offered to Danny at Steve’s state funeral.

Hah, State Funeral. If Steve was alive he’d probably be his monotonous pedantic self and say, “Only people of national significance can get that kind of funeral, usually a president, a former president or someone the sitting president deemed worthy. I was never a President, Danno. And sure I met the guy, seems nice too but we were not that close. Well not enough that he’ll order the whole riderless horse, 21 gun salute for my funeral.”

But Steve is dead and they had a “state funeral” in his honor.

In the Philippines, a closed door is the equivalent of hanging up the phone on somebody... A closed door is rude... Which is why I don’t get this whole post at first... Now those glares I keep on getting when I walk into a room makes a lot more sense now... Thanks tumblr for teaching me the ways of the world... I’m so tired of all the posts that says they are worried for mcdanno fandom for the FUCKING little things such as rise of non-con fics... So I’m blocking accounts who posted such shit... I don’t need for people to tell me that relationships with elements of non consensual act of any kind (sexual or otherwise) ARE unhealthy and not romantic... I FUCKING KNOW IT’S UNHEALTHY AND NOT AT ALL ROMANTIC... When I read or write fics with elements of NON CONSENT I know the DEAL...I don’t do it because I find SUCH relationships ROMANTIC or SEXY...

I do it because I like exploring the complexity of human emotions... I do it because I like exploring how dark I or another author could take a character who canonically stands for all things good... I do it because it’s cathartic for me to read or write a story where the FICTIONAL character goes through all this hardships and come out still fucking standing in the end because in my mind (even if they are fictional), I say if these characters could overcome such difficulties in life, my problems are so much easier and like these characters I would over come them... When I read or write Steve dominating Danny in an unhealthy way part of the process for me is exploring my own reaction to the situation vs that of the characters.. Like If I’m in similar situation how would react? Would I do the same as Danny did? Would I be different? How different?

I can’t speak for others who enjoys reading or writing stories that includes unhealthy relationships. But here’s what I could tell you all judgey people: We KNOW IT’S UNHEALTHY... If you judgey people bother looking at the author’s notes most writers are nice enough to preface their fics with warnings for triggering content... And it any one bothers reading the comments on fics they’d see that most readers and authors are aware enough to KNOW non-con fics are dirty filthy literature that could send them to hell it it is real...

Okay I’m so tired of blocking spam accounts...

Anyone else has a solution to this problem? I tried tumblr savior… It worked for a few posts but as you scroll down the tag it would stop working… I tried blocking it and reporting it as spam but then after I hit refresh on the tag I would see it again… This is really annoying especially on the mcdanno tag because we are a relatively small fandom and there are fewer posts so you would have to wade through pages of spam posts before getting to the recent mcdanno posts…

Or anyone really… Maybe if people reblog and tag their favorite tags where they see spam it would get noticed and be dealt with? I’m not looking to get like tumblr famous or whatever, so if someone else has a better solution than reblogging to get attention so these spam thing could be dealt with, feel free to share… Or if someone else has already started a campaign against these spam posts let me know… Just I’d really like to stop seeing ‘Mom found her son’s sex toy‘… like who wants to read about that, well some other people might but not me for sure…

Thanks for the tip :) reblogging because someone else might find this useful... unfortunately for me when I checked out xkit it says that my browser is not compatible with their extension thingy... I'm using tumblr savior now... it doesn't really work all that well... :( And it’s such a hassle to download a new browser to just try out xkit... double ;(

Also anyone else knows how to deal with these spams on the tumblr app?

I've seen a post saying you have to black list "goo(.)gl" and the spam posts should disappear. (of course take out the (), tumblr reads the word as a link and doesn't let me send the ask)

I tried this already with tumblr savior and it works at first but then I’d scroll it down and then spam posts appears again... And what’s more is that it doesn’t actually “disappear”... there would still be a note that says: blah blah made a post containing goo.gl click to show...

Is there any browser extension or something like tumblr savior but actually blocks what’s needed to be blocked? Or a way to do it on tumblr itself? I mean only know how to block an account not like a keyword...

Oh my god, it’s killing me! It’s on both the h50 and the McDanno tags and it stopped for a while but now it’s back! It sucks!

Am I the only one?

For the last two days when I visit mcdanno, olicity, and sterek tags... I’ve been seeing all these annoying spam posts that don’t belong in these tags... With titles like: ‘Crazy Anime Gifs You Won’t...’ or ‘You have a dirty mind we can prove it..’ or ‘Cringeworthy Coloring Books...’

At first I was like hey interesting so I click on the link... But later on I realize why is this in these tags? It doesn’t have anything to do with mcdanno or olicity or sterek... So I blocked the shit of of that user who posted that because when I went into that particular tumblr account it was full of similar posts...

And that’s what I’ve been doing every time I see such posts on these particular tags... But lately I must have blocked over thirty or so accounts... Like what even?! Am I the only one seeing/noticing this? Is this some kind of a tumblr prank? Because it’s getting annoying... Like what’s happening here?!
