Kougyoku and Judar ❤🥺 it's been years since I last thought about them but a few days ago I randomly revisited their tag and got hit with all the love I still have for them aaaa

Why I ship JuKou!

It seldom mattered to Kougyoku who she harmed in the process, she just adamantly wanted to save Judar in the altercation with Aladdin/Ugo.

Judar gives her the facetious nickname “Old Hag”.

Kougyoku calls his “Judar-chan” and often times refers to him as her “Dearest Judar-chan”

Kougyoku and Judar are very close to each other considering the teasing that they subject each other to and how much time they spend together

He was the first person to recognize her as a warrior / king candidate

He called her cute one time while patting her head(◡‿◡✿)

Judar holds his hands out to her many times; when he wanted her to go back to Kou with him, when he first acknowledged her as strong, etc.

Kougyoku brings out Judar’s childish side. He’s always annoyed around Kouha, sadistic towards Sinbad, evil towards Aladdin, etc, etc. But with Kougyoku he seems to be an actual person, laughing and teasing her.

Kougyoku uses water magic, while Judar uses ice magic. These two magics are compatible and correspond to each other. To top it off, ice always melts back into water, returning to it’s initial source.

Is it is said that Judar’s ideal woman is one who is strong yet has the personality most opposite of him (cough)

Judar’s character, based off the Judar from “One Thousand and One Nights” and “Judar and His Brethren” marries a princess! This is significant considering how heavily based off original characters Magi is.

Let me talk a little about Judar’s jealousy 

For a good chunk of Magi’s story, Judar was not actually driven by his love of fighting or being a sore loser regarding Aladdin or Sinbad but by pure jealousy and spite.
