for those following Legacy System Reboot, i've officially divided up the parts into their chapters, and after looking at all 23 i have them set to be released as 9 chapters! pretty sizeable for something i once considered "small" lol

okay this one might be a surprise, but paranoid actually reminds me of animatronic/human stolas from the fnaf thing i did for eroguro. its good as a usual stolas song too, but, just imagining him being unable to move and looking over at Blitz's body in his suit, what could have been, is what entered my mind when i listened to it and read the lyrics. it might be the kind of "old sound" it has that reminds me of the older fnaf timeline
i didn't have an accurate image for today's drop, so have a random drawing of Nora that fits the theme instead.

drawn on a sketchbook (cheap one but not shitty, love this kind), with a sticky note, posca, ohuhu alcohol markers and cheap off brand ones, ohuhu liners i think (they could have been sakura but i think they were the ohuhu i was really into those at the time) and sketched beforehand with a thin mechanical draft pencil.
i did a lot of traditional art for these heh- whatever art i don't post by the end of this fic i'll post all of it at the end.

Interesting indeed- i think the au that could even begin to fit this would have to be burnout. It sounds like blitz gradually losing patience and then lashing out by the end!
i'm sorry i've been so bad about posting! i got close to burnout recently so i took a little break from the eroguro stuff and just did whatever i like. i'm going back to work on it soon then i'll start posting the safe stuff here and linking the others! i'll try to upload here more again (i've been mostly posting on bluesky, so if you want go see everything there early!)

I'm not nonbinary but rather gender queer! that is pretty cool though, hello! I'm not sure if GQ is under the umbrella, but i go by gender queer since I'm still not fully sure what want to go by, so i suppose that also means I'm still figuring things out to be honest. I have dysphoria, but its not fully to do with gender. some is, though. i've been going by they/he a lot more these days since i don't like female pronouns.

Below is descriptions of the changes to Stolas and the written text on the reference image.
RISK TO TAKE STOLAS.
*Stolas looks quite different to canon but his "base" is the same. differences are listed below.
-Stolas has multiple purple colored crystals covering around his head. the most prominent ones are long and four-pointed star shaped but not super obviously, while the smaller ones are more obviously star shaped.
-around his neck he has a wide wreath of magical purple/pale yellow flames that are somewhat shaped like leaves, moving a bit slower than typical fire as a result.
-Stolas has horns that sprout from just behind his temples and wrap around to a point near his cheek, with asymmetric horn jewelry on each one.
-This stolas, while he has his magic, also has large pupils in a pale gold almost off-white color, and four-pointed star pupils.
-His tongue is also blue instead of dark red, continuing the strong trend of cool tones in his palette.
-His long-sleeve shirt is a medium pale blue, star themes and has golden threads like his other clothing and has a gap from a few buttons being undone where his chest fluff is. He has a belt-like article around his waist tied on in a dark blue shade darker than his pants, with golden threads with another star button, while his pants are simply a shade darker than his shirt with gold threads along the seams. He also has a cloak with a cool red-toned galaxy pattern inside, and a red and gold broach clasping it around his collar.
-there's a small illustration beside that showing how dynamic his pupils can be to show expression, for example widening like saucers or sharpening into four-pointed stars. his pupils can even completely disappear in distress.
-Stolas has wings in this au which are lineless because of being made of magic, the inside simply being near-black while the outside is a midnight blue fading into blue/magenta with stars and constellations near the ends.
-above his head behind the crown-like crystal magic shards is a small pale yellow/purple orb with faded flames around it.
Now onto text:
*Magic can be condensed and saved for future use by adding small amounts over time. It starts as fire or something as small as a grain of sand/pearl and then layers are added.
-They're very common to see on higher class demons, but fire alone is very common across the classes.
-This amount of magic is actually a staggering amount. If used up, they entirely disappear, (excuse my spelling mistakes). He would take months to accumulate this much again.
*Octavia may exist in this au...more later! (flower symbol)
*His job is still to study the stars. He's very knowledgeable and often brings up terms due to the excessive exposure to them- this tends to confuse Blitz who knows next to nothing about stars or their related terms. He knows "Uranus" for obvious reasons. jokes.
-Stella isn't in this AU. Let's just say she "isn't involved" or she's dead. Demons are immortal as long as they're not injured, so excessive breeding isn't needed and gestation tends to be long.
*Vassago WAS his winds partner (non-romantic) but Blitz didn't allow that for long after he was brought into the household *(once they started sleeping together so blitz didn't have to endure his winds alone) aka Blitz gets very territorial after some time passes.
Now to go over the two extra sketches! RTK!Stolas is flipping through his grimoire with a focused expression with a little "hm..." beside his head.

the other sketch is RTK!Blitz and RTK!Stolas. Blitz is growling and hissing quietly against Stolas's neck as he grips tightly on his chest feathers and magic smoke leaks out between his teeth when he speaks in a territorial way. "Keep that other bird away from here. You're mind to mark and scent, UNDERSTAND?" Stolas answers with soft little shaken hoots, and a small "ye...yes." and small little hearts are drawn around him as he blushes.
*wheeze* these refs have killed me. i am dead now.

Below is descriptions of the changes to blitz and the written text on the reference image.
RISK TO TAKE BLITZ.
as a refresher, The collar blitz wears is a magical item that is essentially a mark of ownership and also a way to control the demon who wears it.
-Repeatedly tells Stolas not to call him Blitzo until he finally just tells him to call him "Blitz" instead.
-His current age is about 20 years old.
*The first pair of images is a front/back view of RTK Blitz in the nude, showing his scars and branding in detail. There is a color palette sitting in between the pair of drawings.
*Blitz's scars are a dark red gradient color instead of white, and have sharper shapes. His expression looks somewhat uncomfortable, kind of irritated and unsure. His spines and right horn have damage from some sort of incident during the accident. His tail is primarily black instead of the typical red, and his tail spines are more hair-like, kind of like proper spines that can flare out or lay down. He has a bright orange flame (made of magic) sitting between his horns. On his back (which is much more scarred than in canon, including two jagged lines down his back on each side) he has a brand on his upper right shoulder which will get explained next.
-Stolas's insignia on shoulder only appears when collar is activated or powers are overloaded. Moon is visible at all times. *Mark lights up when touched, and residual magic falls away like stardust.
*His collar is shown in detail, gold in color but glowing when activated. The collar has minute amounts of angelic steel, but not enough to dehabilitate- only enough to control/hurt on command.
-The next image is Blitz in his outfit, a black sleeveless turtle neck, red/black/gold cloak, black shoe-pants with a star like symbol on the front, sleeves (not connected to shirt, more like arm warmers), and his mother's skull on his belt. he's wearing his golden collar.
-Has Stolas's insignia sewn into the fibers of his cloak, making him easier to find in an emergency.
*Going on to the next image. Blitz is in the nude again for a reference to a scene drawn before, where he was auctioned. Note, this was mere weeks post accident. Blitz has golden cuffs as well as the collar, on his ankles and wrists. glowing white ropes are connected to each golden item to keep him tethered, ankles to wrists and wrists/collar to different points off screen. He's extremely lethargic in the drawing, appearing not fully cohesive and fairly rough, which will be explained in the written text.
-The flame between his horns is so small it almost isn't there. text pointing to it reads: Lost a lot of magic due to the accident, flame is small at this point because he doesn't have time or energy to replenish it.
-He is in lots of pain, not willing to cooperate & as a result was heavily sedated during the auction. It is not common for a demon to fight excessively because being auctioned off is better than being killed, so there is likely a reason besides the pain that is making him act wild and crazy to the point of sedation.
-Heavy restraints. The sedation was a precaution & a hope to make him seem calmer. It didn't work the way they wanted it to.
*Next pair of images shows a future Blitz in his usual clothes without the cloak, but he is no longer wearing a golden collar. Instead, he's wearing a leather collar that has a crystal similar in shape and appearance to the Asmodean crystal but in a pale purple/shiny yellow color. It has glitters and fractals, due to being made of compressed magic. the metal is still gold, but it's normal gold. Blitz has a tentative, soft smile on his face, like he's matured a lot since the beginning of Stolas and Blitz's relationship and has softened. The collar is a normal one Stolas had made for blitz *(though he made the crystal and engraved it himself).
-Said collar was made as a "security blanket" after Stolas decollars Blitz in hopes he could feel more secure without the golden one, since he kept trying to get it back. Blitz eventually warms up to the new item.
-Blitz rubs the crystal like a worry stone.
-The gem could theoretically be used in an emergency, but blitz would rather die than destroy it.
*Next drawings show youth blitz before and after he loses his wings. from 10-16 he has his wings, dark gray and feathered with blackened tips. He's wearing a leotard in his example, since he wore it a lot for his circus performances.He looks happy for the most part, and even has some magic shards in his flames, due to having more plentiful magic stores.
text beside the winged drawing reads:
-he had very large wings for an imp!
-he had no scars.
-after removal, he had a difficult time adjusting his balance. He still trips a ton in the present because of it.
the other youth drawing shows blitz facing away so you can see his back, where two jagged dark lines are on his back where his wings once attached, labeled as "17- until accident. wing scars only". He no longer can sustain magic shards, so he has his simple flame at this point.
*Next drawing is a portrait shot to closer show the damage to blitz's horns, and the scratchy texture atop them. You can also better see his facial scar at this angle, which covers most of the right side of his face.
text along with this reads:
-Resting bitch face half the time because of pain and emotional constipation.
-saving up magic in hopes to make his own wings someday (they would be flat in appearance like stolas's.)
last sketch in the corner is youth (between 18-19 but not as far as 20) blitz/fizz looking at each other (suggestive text ahead).
-Fizz was his winds partner for a year or two (non-romantic, but that doesn't mean blitz hadn't caught feelings like canon at that point. Stolitz is still end goal).

Fizz: "Oh it's fine, we just gotta be quick!"
Blitz: "I'm the one that's gonna get in trouble, Fizz."

*Tries to leave to see Fizz/Barbie at times, but has a hard time finding them mb? They might be in different rings, which means portal travel, which is too far on his own before Stolas calls for him to come back.

âIâŚnâŚnothing.â Steven stuttered, staring at a glowing shape drift about the room. âI justâŚwhat were we doing? haâŚhahaâŚâ He swallowed quietly. I thought only fusions could see these hallucinations. Wait, I am technically kind ofâŚkind of one? But I canât possibly get unstable like a normal fusionâŚwait can I?? But IâmâŚ
âSteven please, remember weâre here for you.â Connie shifted to Stevenâs side, brows furrowed worriedly. âAre you hurting? You donât have to try this right now.â
âNo, nothing hurts I justâŚâ No one else is a half gem like me. How am I supposed to explain nothing is wrong when I donât even know why itâs there? âItâs a special case. Iâm pretty sure itâs a half gem thing? I donât know.â
âLet's at least start by getting on the same page.â Garnet spoke carefully. âTell us what you see.â
âThe roomâŚit's the room. ButâŚâ
âBut?â
