It’s Time To Get Sillay
White people always got the most lit ass tattoos
When will they develop tattoo ink that shows vibrantly on melaninated skin!?
I would love that. Even the black ink they use look trash on MY skin.
I have two tattoos that look like shit and I have no choice but to get them lasered off or covered up and it sucks cuz I spent a lot of money on them.
You gotta make sure the tattoo artist know how to do dark skin. Sadly it’s not common due to racism, but some people do amazing work with dark skin.
I’ve never ever seen tattoos that look raw like this on people who are as dark on me.
Well this pic looks like it was taken right before or after golden hour so the colors look more vibrant already, but here’s an example of good colors on dark skin.
And I’m pretty sure this was after it was faded for a couple of years.
This is an artist named Miryam Lumpini. She’s one of the few we’ll known black artists who knows how to work on balck skin. However I do think this tattoos is fresh and not healed.
I think there are black tattoo artist in Baltimore and DC but I’ve forgotten names.
I once went to a black tattoo parlor in Baltimore some year back but the place wasn’t welcoming to me. :/
If you’re going up north for a tattoo I would skip Baltimore and hop over one state to delaware and go see Oba Jackson. He specializes in doing tattoos on black skin and mostly does Afro centric pieces.
me talking to a man: i know. i know. yeah i know. i know. i’m aware. yes i already know that
