Watching older people struggle to use the McDonald’s kiosk genuinely makes me sad. It’s ever increasingly clear that technology literacy courses provided on a state level as a public service are necessary to assist people with the rapidly changing technology landscape. Society changes fast and rather than abandoning people to individualized solutions we need a socialized response to helping people adjust.

I feel like some people need to relearn Genre Expectations... "Man, this tragedy sucks!!! Why didn't they just do XYZ, then everything could have ended happily!!" well, then it wouldn't be a tragedy, would it. This is like one of those romance novels where people bond over accidentally writing each other emails but better.

Like Pride and Prejudice but instead of the love interest getting dissed for his toxicity and then reforming, it’s just two people bonding over dissing a dead toxic asshole.

10/10 would recommend
