With Tumblr starting to roll out age verification, it feels like a good time to bring this up.

I went to my app store and turned off automatic updates back when the staff tried to roll out their reblogs bullshit last month or whenever that was. The age verification is only in the UK and Brazil for now, but it'll probably spread.

Go to the app store and turn off automatic updates. Do it now. I will probably never update my app again. The people making these decisions can't be trusted and when the "age verification" database inevitably gets hacked, they will have some limp excuse and keep on doing it.

i also struggled to find how to turn it off for iphone. what i ended up doing was going to settings > apps > app store then i toggled off for app updates. which will i guess turn off all app updates lol?

also i struggled to contact u about it 😂 i couldn't message you and i also couldn't tag you. hopefully u see this, this is the path i found, don’t know if it's the best one

there's a spider in my bathroom. and usually i either kill it or set it outdoors. i have a big fear of spiders, honestly insects in general i don't like. even ladybugs i’m just. anyway. so recently i saw a video about how, if you set them outside rather than killing them, sorry to say, they die out there anyway. because a house is where they live, or it's the best habitat for them, or something like that. the video said to just, let the spider be. and they help your house anyway. so even though this spider is big (imo) and idk if i should kill it or not, i’m gonna try keeping him around. i've named him barnaby.
