literally what this website did to some of you
I don’t know what this is but I was linked to it and it’s incredibly Russian.
Not really an ask, but just wanted to say I've loved your stuff since I first found you. Ok I do have a question, favourite game in the last 20 years? (Be in Computer/Board/Pen & Paper doesn't matter.
Thank you!And favorite game… that’s so difficult. I mean, my DEFAULT answer is always going to be Spyro the Dragon. It’s the game most nearest and dearest to me, and provided a lot of inspiration as well as SANCTUARY growing up.But ah, other forms of games? Board games. Okay. WAIT. I GOT THIS.Herd Your Horses.
HOLD ON, HEAR ME OUT HERE.
It’s not good. I’ve had this game since I was a horse-obsessed child (I used to go to HORSE CAMP every year and volunteer at a rescue ranch), away on a shelf gathering dust. One day, my friend Tyguard asked about it, and we decided to take it for a spin. What resulted was four adults getting really fucking competitive over being STUDLY, RIPPLING STALLIONS on a quest for BIG, BEAUTIFUL HORSE LADIES to take into HORSE PARADISE or whatever, dramatically and passionately reading out each detailed description on the cards. And oh boy, are they fucking descriptive.Basically, the object of the game is to collect what are essentially pin-ups to amass into your horse harem and escape EVIL RANCHERS and make it to the equestrian equivalent to the GREAT VALLEY. It’s like if the DeviantArt Spirit The Stallion fandom kids made a board game. It’s amazing, but only with the right people who are willing to get really into it.
I would totally play this

I still think about this sometimes and how training as an Orphaner under Dualscar would affect Cronus. I keep thinking about the stuff Cronus said about how things would be different if he were on Alternia, and then about the nasty shocks he’d receive from actually being on the planet, and then about him actually having to get used to what his caste entails, according to Dualscar (have some damn dignity, don’t flirt with lowbloods, everyone else is below you, get used to casual murder).
I’m not talking like “ooh Cronus got taught a lesson and now he’s a badass”, it would be terrifying. I didn’t really get his face right here though so I don’t think it all comes across the way I’d like it to. Anyway!

Brilliant Indian comic book turns rape victim into a kick-ass super hero
India’s rape crisis has a new female face, but it’s not what you think.
A new comic book, Priya’s Shakti, is making waves in India for its unconventional heroine: a rape victim-turned-superhero who fights gendered violence with the help of the Hindu goddess Parvati.
According to the comic’s website, the storyline focuses on Priya, a mortal woman who experienced a brutal rape and ensuing social stigma and isolation. Inspired by Parvati, Priya breaks her silence and reveals her assault, encouraging people around the world to take action against sexual violence.
This is much more than a comic. Literally.
