As she pulls away slightly from the kiss to catch her breath, John feels at peace for once. Being with her always felt easy but also filled with adrenaline, the thought of getting caught always in the back of his mind. This time, however, all that guilt and concern was gone. And that reflected on his gaze, as he takes all her beauty in. “I missed you.” He points out simply, a smile across his lips as he goes back to another kiss. His hands run down her spine until her lower back, holding her firmly to grab and pull her into his lap. He deepens the kiss with his tongue, getting somewhat demanding as he works to take off her shirt. The more he tasted her lips, the more he wanted her, all of her. After six months apart, the last weeks had been a test to their self control which he no longer had nor did he want to. All he wanted was to feel every inch of her body and get lost in her scent.
It was almost like muscle memory, how easily she fell into his arms and got back on his lap. Like all the times she’d held herself back and kept her distance from him caught up to her and she felt the need to make up for all that time. She missed him desperately and how passionately she kissed him was a testament to that. He doesn’t need to say anything else because she knows, and a look into his eyes shows her that this isn’t the kind of I missed you that got thrown around at work, this was them - just John and Sav, missing each on the simplest and most meaningful level. Smiling against his lips, she helped him with her shirt, tossing it over her shoulder before moving her kisses from his lips to his jawline, down to his neck as she held on to his shoulders and fiddled with the buttons of his shirt, sliding her hand in between the shirt and his skin, feeling him for the first time in months which only made her want him more. “7 months... think you can still keep up? Because you’re not going to get a lot of sleep tonight,” she teased, whispering in his ear.
