We all sometimes need to press the reset button on our own lives. When you feel like everything is going wrong and everything is a mess, here’s a little guide how to start over any time you want:
Take a day off -First of all calm down the hell down and take a day off to do the following things. Wake up and get ready to reset your life. No rush.
Let in some fresh air -The first thing you should do is let as much fresh air as you can into your home. I know it seems as something too little to have an impact but it will help.
Create new routines -Have a new morning routine and night routine. You don’t have to change your current routine completely but some little changes will make you feel so much better. Clean your space -Get all the clutter back where it belongs and throw away stuf you don’t need. Change your bed sheets and towels, vacuum your carpet or sweep the floor.
Shower or take a bath -Wash the stress away and pamper yourself as much as you can. Use that face mask and hair mask, enjoy it and make sure to feel all nice and clean.
Create new goals -Create goals or change the old ones. Nothing helps to reset life more than having new goals and new things to aim for.
Go through your socials and delete/unfollow what makes you unhappy -Go through your old posts and the lists of people who you follow. Figure out what makes you feel like crap and get rid of it.
Change up your environment -Change your phone wallpaper or move your furniture around. Small and big changes are both helpful.
Create new music playlists -This one is pretty self-explanatory
While writing the previous tips that can all be done in a day, I thought of some bigger changes that have helped a lot in my life too. Take these bigger changes tips as a bonus:
Cut/dye your hair -Haircuts have become almost a symbol of change. So go ahead, change it up.
Delete contacts of people you don’t talk to anymore -This might not seem like a big change but sometimes it’s really hard to do so I added it to this cathegory.
