On my way

The name is Koda, not hard to say really. I know you must be very excited to have me around and I am just as excited to be here. I come from near and far and don't worry, I always got a good story to tell about my travels even if some sound a bit rough. Koda Tragen = 20 = I work in the office [FC: Theo James]

  Sally kept her eyes on the ground, not willing to look up at him. Her mind was focused on one thing. Jack. Why was he here? Was he alright? Why did he leave home? Did he know she was here? Many questions rushed through her mind as her eyes stayed to the floor. As he asked her a question of his own they moved up to meet his gaze. She didn’t say a word, instead she just kissed him and smiled. It wasn’t an answer but it was something. She followed him to the bar, sticking close to his side. Once he spoke she decided it was time to reply.

"Anything, everything. Doesn’t matter."

Koda started to get more worried the less Sally talked.... he did decide that he wasn't going to ask much about it. Koda simply figured Sally would tell him if there was something he needed to know... for now at least. Koda let his thumb circle the back of Sally's hand as they went into the bar, he found two places not surrounded by a pile of drunk people and sat down. Nodding at her he looked at the bartender and ordered two drinks for them. He didn't order anything too strong, just something to have as he sat with her. "You know I was glad to see you. It's been a while." Koda drank some of the drink as he spoke, keeping his eyes on Sally.

"Hey."

  Rosetta smiled up at him, thanking her in her way as she walked through the door, already scanning the area. “I think it’d be fun to get drunk though! It’s been so long since I let myself do anything fun, I think I deserve it kind of. ” She giggled a bit and nodded up at him. “Well, I can’t really say it’s not weird. I always think people are just really sad, or heartbroken when they’re alone in a bar. But it’s a great place to meet friends, I agree.” Rosetta covered her mouth as she laughed watching him and his little dance. “That was cute.” Shrugging she played with the ends of her hair. “I’m a single mother, so.. I’m a walking stress bomb with no fun.”

Koda was pretty surprised to hear the girl wanted to get drunk. Maybe she'd be fun to hang out with after all. "Well, by all means... you have as much fun as you want but I'll tell you what, you start any bar fights and I'm going to have to take care of them and carry you home. No one needs those." It was obvious Koda was joking, he didn't expect the girl to do something outrageous like that but the thought gave him something to laugh about. He scrunched his nose and nodded. "Exactly, and I'm not heart broken at all. My heart is full and healthy. But then there are those guys that go to the bars alone just to hit on anything that walks..." He stopped a moment. "That's the creepy stuff." He said. Koda shrugged nonchalantly as she spotted his dancing as cute. "I got the moves." He said in a tone as if he was just brushing it off. "Oh... dang. I can imagine how that would be stressful."

  Sally hadn’t felt right for days, maybe it was because all she would do was work or that after seeing Jack she was frazzled completely. Everything was in shambles within her mind but she knew Koda would give her some sort of peace. He was always so good at making things better. She listened to his words, smiling slightly at him. Although she wanted to say something in return she couldn’t find the words to do so. Instead she reached out, taking his hand in hers then looking to him for approval on her actions.

When Koda only received a smile from Sally he began to think something was wrong. He hoped she wasn't still worrying about anything... even though he knew that was unlikely with what she'd been through the past couple of weeks. Taking in a deep breath he wasn't going to poke at her not talking much, at least she smiled. When the feeling of her hand in his sparked through him he tightened his grip in a quick squeeze. "You're okay... right?" He said just making it a light subject, if she didn't want to answer he would just move on. He continued to walk, finding the bar and moving in with her in his hand. "What do you like?"

"Hey."

  Rosetta couldn’t help but giggle as he pointed at her, she nodded and stopped looking around as she made her way over to him. “I’d say it’s my lucky day as well. ” Rosetta played with her hands as she followed beside him. “Hm, oh yeah! I mean I’m not much of a drinker, but they have a few things I like.It’s been so long since I’ve had alcohol, might as well live a little tonight”

Koda listened to her and walked out, holding the door for her and such. As she spoke there was a bit of a laugh. "Well, you don't have to get drunk or anything. I just need to get out and drinking at a bar alone can be weird sometimes. I usually try to grab at random people that way I meet a friend and I don't look like a loner." He said. Nodding and even giving a slight dance in place Koda laughed. "Sure, live a little. What, you swamped with work too or something?"

"Hey."

“Sure why not? I’m kinda pumped already so let’s make it better.” She told with a giggle, slightly tipsy. “So, waccho working in?”

Koda let off a simple lift of his sholders. "Awesome. come on then, sometimes I think drinking alone can be kind of boring." He said looking down at the files. "Just some paper shit."

"Hey."

Rosetta looked around trying to see if he was talking to someone else before opening her mouth to say anything on her own. “Huh? Oh, yeah sure! Of course. I haven’t really been asked to do much with anyone lately should be fun.”

As soon as Koda noticed her looking around he pointed right at her and nodded. It was him showing that's who he was definitely talking to. "Well, I guess today is your lucky day to be walking in here at this time." Koda started his way to the door. "You like the Poison Apple, right?"

"Hey."

  Logan smiled, raising his hand for a high five. “Sweet,” he said loudly. He’d wanted a new drinking buddy, and hey, if he didn’t fuck with this one too much, he might even be able to work out some kind of arrangement. “What do you drink?”

Well, Koda wasn't expecting the high five but there was no way he would leave the guy hanging. Koda waved to the exit where he knew the way to the bar pretty well. "Mostly mixed stuff. I did get into lots of scotch after being with an old friend for a while. He drank the stuff like he couldn't live wothout it."

  Evangeline looked around but no was there. She then looked at the boy tilting her head to the side. “Me, are ya talking to me? Uhh, alright, sounds fine and all I suppose.”

There was a bit of a nod to the girl from Koda. "Yep, there isn't anyone else here to talk to. Come on, it'll be a good time. As long as you like bars and drinks."

"Yeah, i finish in 10, just need to lock up the tent and then i’m all yours" she smirked

"Perfect. Which tent are you locking up?" Koda asked looking around. He didn't have to lock up anything... not that he could remember at least.

  Sally knew she had to talk to Koda. The last thing she remembered of him was the look on his face as she was leaving his apartment. So she stood at his office door, playing with her sleeve as he spoke to her. She planned on talking before he did but her nerves kept her from doing so. Instead she just nodded, keeping her eyes to the ground as she waited.

 When he saw her walk into the room he knew there was no time to make things awkward so just asking to get something would be the perfect thing unless she said no... which Koda didn't think about. With her nod Koda put on a smile and walked closer to her. "Alright, come on then Sally." He said with a chuckle. "I've been craving to do something fun all day; this job is boring." He said trying to keep a conversation and not think about how long it felt since he'd last seen her.

Koda looked up from his watch to the person in the office with him. "My shift ends in less than a minute and I need to get something to drink. If you're not doing something you should come."

How come nobodies loves me?

"I don’t understand… I’m so nice and… And I’m good… And I’m cute… I don’t know why no one wants me and why they keep leaving."

"Hey kid. That can't be true." Koda said. His body went down to be at her level. "Are you positive no one loves you? Because a girl like you can't be loved."

So summer’s basically here and nobody’s had a party yet… What is wrong with you people?

Maybe no one is in the party mood? I've never been the one to throw the parties but I always like to go to them.

  Sally knew he wouldn’t let her go, she feared it. One day she’d explode in his face and he still wouldn’t be able to let go. She wasn’t safe anymore, not with Tate and her family being so in-tune with her feelings. They knew of her feelings towards Koda and she worried it would only get him into trouble. If they ever discovered her had a sliver of care for her in return it may be chaos. Sometimes she wished he would let her go more easily so when she had to leave it wouldn’t hurt as much.

"Why do you hold onto me so tightly… You know one day you’re going to have to let me go. I’m scared if you keep doing this you won’t be able to… I-I just don’t want to hurt you when I go, because you know I’m going to have to go… Don’t you? That I can’t stay here forever and pretend like everything’s fine…"

It’d been a long time since Sally was afraid of herself. She wasn’t the hurtful type, but in a situation like this she knew they’d both get hurt. The moment she’d finally have to let go of his hand and walk down the aisle might destroy her. He was her safety and once that was gone she wouldn’t survive.

"I don’t understand why you’re trying to make me stay… Why do you care so much Koda? I’m not special… There’s nothing good about me. You’re perfect and I’m a disaster… I can’t have you care about me and me care about you. I’m no good."

 With koda what he wanted he usually got, usually it was his charm that knocked people down enough to give in but with whatever was going on the boy knew that a grin and compliments wouldn’t end well. There might not be any way for him to be able to just love Sally but there was no chance Koda wasn’t going to try. 

 ”Because if I let you go now there is a chance i’d never get you back and I can’t live with even the thought. I hold onto you because every fiber in my body forces me to. I don’t think about the future, I think about now and now I need to keep you here with me… I will figure out what to do when the day comes but right now I just need you here, safe.”

 Koda didn’t let himself come up with the idea that the chance of him winning this was slim. Even though he felt so strongly for her he didn’t think there was going to be any convincing in the matter. As long as he didn’t think of those possibilities he still imagined the chance; a life where nothing was wrong and all he had to do was hold her.
