Frieda was a little surprised to see that the male offered her his hand; she figured that people at this school found things such as shaking the hand of a fellow student upon first meeting them to be old school. But she gladly accepted his hand. âSayram? Thatâs a funny name,â she said. âFunny as in good! Itâs a nice funny name.â She hoped she wasnât scaring the male off during their first conversation, since she realized how socially disastrous she could be. Frieda placer her own cup on the coffee table and hopped off the couch to make Sayram some tea as well. She handed him the cup before retaking her place on the couch. âSo what do you study? Are you a first-year?âÂ
âOh.. ha, yeah, itâs a little weird, I get that a lot. My mom named me after one of her great uncles.â He admitted to her, used to this reaction by now. He usually got called out for the odd name or for his Boston accent. He sat up a bit, setting his controller on his lap as he watched her head for the kitchen. âYeah.. Iâm a psych major. I want to be a therapist one day.. What do you study?âÂ
