Larry couldn’t stand his sister, she was one of his worst siblings, because of how difficult she was and how she seemed to think she was never in the wrong. At least Larry could admit he wasn’t always right, but Koopa forbid the princess have to be responsible.

The second youngest is seething, probably more than he should be. Of course she’d mock him. Plus she had the never to call him a brat? Did she ever take a moment and think about how completely whiny and unbearable she was!?

“You’re right, you’re not a crybaby Wendy.” he said in in a pleasant tone, before the venom dripped back into his words. “You’re an unbearable whiny witch. I don’t think I want it anymore, since you’ve already touched it.”

Mock, mock, mock — that’s all what Wendy was doing right now, which included sticking out her tongue afterwards. What a PEST! Larry was just as unbearable as she was, if not even more so because of the way he acted like a big baby. The way he talked, the way he insulted her after his tone became soft and sweet, his existence was an eyesore. Unaffected by his insult, she stood by her ground and let out a loud ‘ HUMPH ‘ before she frowned.

—— to expand more on the whole ‘ wendy needing a mother figure ‘ thing ... wendy never really remembered her mom. she remembers a few key incidents, such as the time her mother gave wendy her signature bow and her bracelets ( which were very oversized, but she nonetheless kept ), but otherwise wendy repressed most of her memories after her mother’s sudden leave. she was 10 when her mother had left, so a good proportion of her life up until now was spent learning from her father and being around her brothers. her bow and bracelets, in a way, made her retain her love for femininity and long to have girl friends that she could actually love.

so! being able to finally have a mother ( or a mother figure ) that she could finally be with and relate to, even slightly, would greatly reduce some of the issues she deals with. finally having a mother, regardless if they’re completely different from her species / married to bowser would be one of wendy’s dreams come true.
